Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Paço de Arcos

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return one day for a longer stay. The location worked for us & our planned day trips.

Very good host! She welcomed us with a lot of information and good recommendations for restaurants and visiting Lisbon. The cleaning was impeccable. However, there was a smell of dampness present. Maybe just the concrete buildings that cause this, as we are not used to this smell in Quebec. The small intimate corner is inviting! Thank you Annabella for your warm welcome!

Sofia was a very proactive and friendly host. All key information were promptly provided days prior to check-in. Easy self-access with the instructions provided. Rooms were ready and property was clean by the time we arrived. It is a 10-20 minutes commute to certain shops at late hours, however, the privacy is worth its keep. There is supermarket super close by, for us was unfortunate due to the time we would arrive everyday at the property meant they were always closed, but those seeking a holiday, that would be no issue. Lovely spacious living room with doors that you see straight out to the swimming pool. As we were there mainly for business purposes, we did not manage to have usage of certain available amenities - but worth to those coming in for a holiday. Sofia was also always efficient in responding, regardless of time (unethical on my part to message pas midnight) nonetheless, she would respond right away. Beautiful home and an amazing host.

The apartment is located in a very quiet location in Sintra and is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The private parking right in front of the entrance is very convenient. Patricia is a really sociable and helpful person and welcomed us very warmly. Really a great experience ☺️

We loved our stay at Pedro & Ana's beach house, as did our one-year-old baby who felt right at home. The location is unbeatable with a direct view of the ocean and a short walk around the corner from the beach. Grocery stores are just a short 10-15 minute drive away. The backyard, hammock, and brand new grill were the perfect place to relax. Pedro & Ana were so welcoming and helpful, setting out a chilled bottle of wine for our arrival and sharing local recommendations with us. The kitchen could use some new pots/pans and cutting boards (we ended up buying our own to use) but otherwise is well equipped (e.g. hand blender, hand mixer, separate oven and microwave). And unlike other beach houses we've stayed at, there was no shortage of hot water! Would absolutely stay again.

Prez is an excellent host. He took the time to explain the accommodation to us and gave us a multitude of local and tourist recommendations. We also loved the pool for the hot day. Quiet with lots of chairs and very refreshing A little further from the center but only 20 minutes' walk from the tourist bus stop. I recommend it to everyone!

A perfect escape! What an incredible discovery! From the moment we arrived, we felt the peace and tranquility we were looking for so much. The place is a true oasis of serenity, ideal for those who need to escape the frenetic rhythm of the city. Our two pets also loved the garden and the ample space for jogging and play! The accommodation was impeccably clean and decorated with very good taste - simple but elegant. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare delicious meals without major problems. The swimming pool was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Crystal clear water at perfect temperature, surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and lush vegetation! The hosts were extremely attentive, welcomed us with great sympathy and were always available when we need to, but fully respecting our privacy. We're already planning our next visit. This place has earned a special place in our hearts!

We had a nice stay at Lenita's house. It is a beautiful place to spend a few nights. There are beautiful beaches and nice restaurants in the area, the supermarket is around the corner. The garden is a quiet and green oasis in the middle of an urban environment, very special.

One of the best Airbnb that I’ve ever seen, very clean and close the services

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

This lovely home is ideally situated in the very center of historic Oeiras. Enjoy a beautiful park just outside your door, easy access to the beach, and a delightful array of pastelarias, local shops, and cafés, all within a few mins walking distance. A great choice for those seeking a Portuguese vibe away from the main tourist crowds of Cascais and central Lisbon.

Spacious, spotlessly clean, bright with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay. Great host - always responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend Carolina's place. Also a lovely big balcony to sit and have breakfast - would also be an added bonus to have a couple of loungers/comfortable chairs to enjoy this further.

Great stay in a nicely designed apartment with comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. The terrace is a very nice addition where we could catch some sun and have breakfast as the place itself is a bit dark but probably offers a cool retreat on hot summer days. The narrow staircase to the 2nd floor (bedroom) might be a challenge for people who are not very mobile or for carrying bigger luggage. All in all we had a great time at La Quinta and would highly recommed it for exploring the area as it is close to the train station.

If you are planning on exploring Sintra with its beautiful sites, look no further. Guy’s house is amazing - the pictures don’t do it justice! It is bigger than we expected from the pictures and is nestled in a beautiful lush garden. Our kids (8-11) enjoyed exploring every corner of the garden and we found it to be the perfect spot for a day trip to Sintra. We took our car to a parking lot in town (10 min from the house) and then took the bus to get to the different castles. Guy and Soraia were very communicative and helpful (eg with restaurant recommendations). Highly recommend staying at their place!

We had not been to Estoril previously and did really enjoy the more local vibe in this area. Also a great beach for surf and a good walk to Carcavelos. The apartment was so nice and very clean, we were 3 friends staying and it felt right at home. We all slept very well and although both beach and train are near (good communications) it was super quiet at night and a calm cozy neighbourhood. Moritz and Francesca were more than helpful and responsive and also had good local recommendations. All of us could imagine staying here again - highly recommend! ✨

I stayed at Nuno’s apartment for a year while I went through the D7 visa process. Nuno was an amazing host. He prepared the apartment before my arrival and was waiting for me when my taxi dropped me off. I brought my small dog from the US and we both felt at home throughout our entire stay. It’s literally a three minute walk to the beach. Three minute walk to the train station. Easy walking to restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, and other conveniences. Nuno’s apartment is charming and has all the necessities to be comfortable for long stays. The only two challenges I experienced while living there for a year were the dogs that live behind the apartment building that bark most nights. It isn’t that bad with the windows and doors closed but it’s annoying when they are open. The second issue is how hot and stuffy it gets inside the apartment. Nuno bought a large portable a/c but even with that it is pretty hot during the summer months. Overall I highly recommend staying here! 5 stars!

I really enjoyed my stay in Jose place. Peaceful district in Oeiras near major supermarkets and walkable distance to train station. Jose is a great host, responsive and has flexible check-in.
