Holiday rentals with a patio in Outer West Durban

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in Durban! The home is absolutely beautiful, stylish, spacious, and impeccably clean, with breathtaking views that made the stay even more special. You can really tell that care and attention to detail went into creating a welcoming space. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: the couch could use a deep clean or reupholstering, as it had a bit of a worn look and lacked that fresh, clean scent. The cushion inners were also quite flat, so replacing them would really bring the lounge area back to life. I stayed in the bedroom facing the passageway, and I’d recommend adding block-out curtains or blinds , the hallway light filters into the room at night, which made it difficult to sleep. That said, everything else was outstanding, and I’d absolutely stay here again. With just a few tweaks, this place would be perfection!

The place was peaceful and gorgeous. It is in close proximity to a shopping centre. The hostess is friendly and very responsive. This was perfect for a staycation with friends.

Lovely check in process, extremely secure, extremely well maintained, clear & concise information. The amenities were excellent and although we had a slight issue with our unit, it was attended to within 10 mins with great care. What stood out about the place was that one feels secluded from the hustle of Umhlanga and yet Gateway is walking distance and the beach a quick 5 min drive away. Thank you for the lovely stay

Utterly and completely loved how clean and tidy the place was. For a person who suffers from sinusitis it was a joy staying here. The natural views, I adored them. The entire setup leading to the bedroom; which is warm even when it is cold, was for me top-tier and homely. The Hosts were so helpful and kept me abreast of everything happening in and around the area. I'm definitely visiting here next time I'm around Durban.

I liked staying at this beach spot. The place was clean, bright, and had everything I needed. The location was great, just a short walk to the water and restaurants. The host was super friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely come back.

This was the second stay at Beate's place and I found it even better than the first time. The house is well kept and clean. I was Durban for the Comrades Marathon and the place was very well equipped for my needs. The location has many options for running. Beate gave me good guidance on safety and where to get specific items I needed to buy. I hope to be back soon.

I recently spent time at 125 Penzance for my mother’s 60th birthday. The venue was so pretty and comfortable. We received so much help from the caretaker Sboniso who made us feel right at home and went out of his way to help us set up tables and everything, there was no request too big for him. It’s the perfect place to host a gathering, we definitely would love to make use of the back garden next time! Thank you so much Zama for making things easy for us!

The place is beautiful, clean and spacious. The hosts provided us with a litre of fresh milk, 2 litre of bottled water, sugar, coffee, tea and rusks. Not just sachets of coffee, enough coffee to last you for a week (if drinking it sensible). The kitchen is packed with all the amenities, including liquid dish soap and towels. The bathroom too, there’s a sponge and thick bleach to clean the bath before (for those neat freaks) and after. There’s plenty of toilet rolls too. I loved that I could sit on the patio and sip on my creamy coffee and rusks or just recharge on the beautiful petite garden. I didn’t feel claustrophobic as I normally do in a hotel room or flat. I recommend this place for its beauty, art, cleanliness, space and location (walking distance to restaurants, shops and a large park to exercise or vicariously watch). It is also very secure.

The place is beautiful and clean!!! Surrounded by lots of greenery 😍 It’s a great retreat from the hustle and buzz of the city. Joanna is responsive and very helpful. A definite favourite in KZN!!!!

My family had such a special stay in this amazing home. It was just what we needed. The house looks just like the pictures and its in such a quiet area. The staff were lovely and very helpful. One of our highlights was having early morning coffee on the deck over looking the beach, watching the sun rise. ( seeing a huge pod of dolphins swimming past was a big plus) We will definitely be booking again.

Paola's nest was incredible! We did a last minute booking and she instantly confirmed. When we got there we felt like we didn't want to leave as it was only for a night. The space was clean, quiet, with a beautiful view and close to the restaurants, beach walks and nature reserve. Loved the bathtub!

The host was amazing, very proactive and responsive. The place was stunning and peaceful, neighbours were considerate; walkable distance to a lot of restaurants. Loved it!
