Holiday rentals with a kayak in Otsego County

This Home has everything you could ask for. Very Clean, they thought of everything from the shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms to laundry soap, Keurig cups, cold water in the fridge and a smores welcome gift on the counter! Beds were cozy and clean, bathrooms spotless. The view is breathtaking especially sunrises, and the loons are amazing to listen too. The next door neighbor's are wonderful and friendly and the firepit was a great place to spend our evenings. 5 stars all around! highly recommend taking a trip here ♡

I had a girls weekend with my best friends and their kids! The kids loved the bunk beds, and the fact that they had their own little space. They loved playing on the beach and especially the hot tub! We had a bonfire, relaxed on the beach, grilled out and of course used the hot tub every night! The house itself was very cozy and had plenty of space for all of us. Definitely recommend, and we will for sure be back again later this summer! Thank you so much for hosting us! :)

Gem on the Lake! Words cannot describe how perfect this made my friends trip! There was more than enough space available for everyone! the lake on the property is so calm and relaxing it feels like it's a private lake! Water is very nice and the fishing was amazing! kitchen is well Stocked with ample cooking supplies and seasonings. bathrooms are insanely big! All the beds were Legendary comfortable as well! I could go on about how great this palce is but you'll have to see it for yourselves! if you have any second guesses don't! Just book it!!

Beautiful home and a great host. Plenty of space for our group of 10. Close to all of the golf that Gaylord has to offer. Highly recommend.

My husband and some family members stayed there for a snowmobile trip. It was perfect for them with plenty of room and a place to park there snowmobiles inside the barn. It was absolutely perfect!

Beautiful and serene. The cabin was spacious and clean. The kiddos enjoyed kayaking and the adults enjoyed nature. Will return in the future

Doug was a great host! Great communication. Everything was as described and very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us even though it was tucked away on beautiful Martin Lake. We had a graduation party nearby so was perfect. Gaylord was only 15 or so away with anything you need. The chalet was as described, it’s not a big place, but cozy. We had 4 adults, 2 kids (11 & 8) and our small dog Ruby. It worked so well for us! We especially enjoyed fishing and enjoying a fire in the evening. Highly recommend if this fits your needs and we will definitely stay here again if in the Gaylord area.

The Lake Haus was a wonderful property. My family enjoyed all of the amenities and hanging out around the lake. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook our meals.

We enjoyed our stay at John’s. It was just a described. The kids loved the paddle boards, kayaks and floating dock. We appreciated all the recommendations that were provided on the wall and in the books around the house. The kitchen had everything needed for us to eat most meals at the house and the grill was nice.

Ben was able to accommodate my last minute stay and I’m so appreciative! I was hoping to get away from the city and enjoy watching the lake with my partner and pup. We were obsessed with the sunroom, multiple board games/puzzle available, watching movies and just catching back up. The lake is still a bit chilly which worked for me because nobody else was out and about! It was such a peaceful, calming trip and I would definitely come back.

This is an amazing property with a remarkable view over the lake. It is a very tranquil location and it is easy to feel close to nature. The cabin is very well appointed and was perfect! The host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall a five star property and experience. Highly recommended!

Great Airbnb. Spacious for my team and a beautiful lake view. Wish the weather would have cooperated but it was still an excellent stay. We will definitely be looking to return next time we are in the area.

This is a great place. Private location, good size cottage, large sandy area on the lake, great for kids. It was our second time coming here and we’ll be back again!

very nice place to stay with plenty of space

This was a beautiful home located on a tranquil lake with serene views and so much local wildlife! My family spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor patio, bonfire pit and watching swans, ducks and birds from the dock. The home itself has comfortable lounging space for a bigger family and includes a well stocked kitchen. The space is very clean. The local area has bike paths which are very scenic as well. Highly recommend!

We came to the Boyne area for an archery event, which was held at Boyne Mountain for 3 days. Our family, including 2 grandchildren joined us for the trip. The cottage was very private, spectacularly clean and very pleased with the amenities provided. The location was perfect in addition to a beautiful setting and a lake for the children to swim. We appreciated all the attention to details and would not only recommend to future guests, but would stay again without a second thought.

The cabin was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the beach, piers, Adirondack chairs and fire pit through the day and into the evening. The fishing was great! The spacious living room, recliners, sofa, and large screen TV were perfect for hanging out at night. Steve was super responsive — an excellent host!

Awesome little place that felt like home!

My friends and I very much enjoyed Williams cabin. It was the perfect relaxing space for some quiet time.

Had a great stay at Chase's cabin! Everything well well stocked and clean. Decorated super adorable. Master bed was very comfy to sleep in! The neighborhood that this cabin in was very cool. We we're hoping that it still felt secluded and private. It did. It rained/misted about the entire time of our trip, so we didn't get to use the outdoor amenities as much as we hoped, but the hot tub was nice and clean and the firepit was so cool! Only thing to note that we didn't care for as much is that the back camera was pointed too closely to the hot tub for our liking. I understand the reasoning, but if you're conscious about that, keep it in mind. It didn't stop us, though! We were up the to hit the trails in the Jeep, and the area is great for that! You're close to a lot! We had no problem being out 6 hours a day, never hitting the same place twice. Thanks for a great stay, Chase! We have stayed at quite a few places on AirBnB and you really do have a gem in the mix. Don't sleep on this!!!

Jonathan’s home is an incredible place to stay for an up north getaway! He was very communicative and was super easy to work with. 10/10 for the property and the ownership alike!

Perfect getaway weekend. We used kayaks, canoe, and SUP...super easy with wood launch and easy to put back to store. Lake is super calm and we were the only people on the lake the whole weekend. Short drive to Gaylord and only 45 to South Higgins State Park for beach. Cabin is super cute and super clean with everything you need...especially kitchen. Movies and games were fun...my kids liked the "Old" choices. Coffee on dock in the morning was the best.
