Guillermo and Diana's place is our "go to" place in Chetumal when we want a peaceful accomodation. It's just steps from the bay in a very walkable and safe neighborhood and close to a taxi stand and a Walmart mini mall. The neighborhood is exceptionally friendly and 30 pesos gets you to the heart of Centro and the Muelle Fiscal.

If all you need is the Caribbean just for yourself, Casa del Sol is da place. Tom Hanks movie «  Cast Away » with solar electricity for your mojito’s ice cubes and a very good bed :-)

Muy bonito el lugar, céntrico, tiene todo lo que uno puede necesitar, tal vez lo que cambiaria de lugar seria el aire acondicionado ya que el que se queda en la cama pegada al aire no le llega el aire

Nos encantó quedarnos con Melissa. El lugar es súper privado y la alberca nos hizo las tardes muy amenas. La atención fue la mejor.

Alojarse con Enna es sentir que llegas a casa 🏡 Es la segunda vez que me hospedo con ella, y no puedo más que recomendar mucho su hospedaje, me sentí mal, me recomendó adonde ir estuvo pendiente de cómo seguía. Cada vez que regrese a Chetumal, espero poderme quedar aquí 👈

We booked last minute and Vanesa responded immediately. The place is very nice, clean and has got a bigger pool than we expected. The host has great recommendations and also owns a diving school where we did a nice dive. Comes highly recommended!

Peaceful and relaxing place. Each bedroom was a mini-studio: private bathroom, mini-fridge, electric kettle/coffee maker, desk, & patio kitchenette. Friendly & responsive host.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man verbringt viel Zeit an der frischen Luft. Leider waren die Fotos etwas älter und mittlerweile sind einige Überdachungen hinzugekommen weshalb wir wenig Sonne hatten. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen. Nebenan ist ein kleiner Supermarkt mit guten Preisen und viel Auswahl.

Martin y su esposa son muy amables. Los perritos de la casa son una adoración. La playa es una maravilla hay peces en la orilla se puede nadar y disfrutar la arena maravillosa los kayak se disfrutan mucho. Recomendamos ampliamente visitar la casa.

Mariana’s place is a perfect accommodation for Bacalar. To be lagoon side and have a gorgeous property to enjoy is an experience my family will remember forever. The house was clean, orderly, and had all that we needed to enjoy cooking at home and enjoy our leisure time. I hope this magical spot stays just as wonderful and beautiful for our next visit. Super nice airbnb with an hammock that made my days… The bath is pretty small but clean and the kitchen it’s more for warming up pre cooked food then for cooking. But all is working well and Astrid is a very nice host! I’ll come back for sure 😊🌞

Leonel y Brenda son unos anfitriones maravillosos, desde el primer día estuvieron muy al pendiente de nosotros y nos dieron indicaciones muy útiles. Fueron flexibles en el horario de entrada y nos ayudaron con un par de solicitudes adicionales, todo de manera rápida y amable. Su lugar es tal cual se describe en las publicación, si no es que mejor! El lugar estaba impecable y se siente que están comprometidos con cuidar los detalles para que te sientas cómodo y seguro durante la estancia. La zona donde se encuentra el lugar puede parecer un poco alejado del centro al principio. Pero al siguiente día, una vez que te acostumbras a caminar por la zona, te das cuenta de que es una ventaja la ubicación porque te permite conocer mejor Bacalar y de camino hay muy buenas opciones para desayunar, comer o cenar. La cercanía con el muelle es un plus. Definitivamente es un lugar muy recomendable y regresaremos a este cuando estemos en Bacalar!

Das Air Bnb hat eine super Lage. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Gastgeberin empfangen. Die Parkmöglichkeiten am Grundstück sind sehr von Vorteil wegen der guten Lage nahe am Bade-Steg zur Lagune. Die Räumlichkeiten sind großzügig geschnitten. Es gibt ein großes schönes Badezimmer; alles sehr sauber. Das Air Bnb hat einen schönen botanischen Garten mit Tischen und Stühlen zum Verweilen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

I really enjoyed my stay! Great location close to the laguna. Excellent balcony and beautiful property to enjoy your coffee in the morning. Clean, bright, comfortable room. Astrid was quick to respond and professional host. Wifi is slow, but that is unfortunately a reality throughout the country. I would stay again if returning to Bacalar. Muchas gracias!

I had a great experience here. The owners are responsive, friendly, and all around good people. The neighbors are friendly and respectful. If you want to visit Bacalar, stay here! Tips: - there is a great little carnitas place nearby. Look for the red shack. - the Airbnb is located very close to a convenience store named Autobeer. You’ll find snacks and beer. - there is market 10 mins walking from the location
