We loved the tranquility and peace, and it was a great location near the beach. It's well set up and we loved the secure fences for our two Jack Russells. All in all, a very good choice for a leisurely weekend away from Wellington. It ticked the boxes.

Lovely spacious house in rural setting close to town. Comfortable and extra cosy with fireplace roaring. Well equipped kitchen. Great outdoor spaces to relax in the sun with a lovely outlook. Bonus to be able to have our dog with us. Carol is friendly and also responded quickly when we have a couple of queries. Short drive to Henley Lake which is a great dog friendly area to run and walk.

We are also grateful to you for getting the fire place going late afternoon when we returned from our excursion on Saturday afternoon. This is the quintessential Kiwi bach with a bonus trampoline for the kids and a volleyball net for everyone! We enjoyed the generous outside living space, and there is a covered outside deck for our family dog to stay. The home had everything we needed, was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Great location, only a 2-minute drive to the beach, and to the forest for walking and biking tracks. Supermarket is about an 8-minute drive into Foxton.

Blackbird House was perfect for our family weekend. Great location and just a minutes walk to Martinborough Square. Safe, secure section for our little dog and plenty of inside space for all of us. Very comfortable beds and the log fire made us very cosy. Thanks Nigel and Rebecca.

Centraly located, within walking distance to the heart of town (Grocery store, Martinborough wine merchant), roomy, quiet with lots of amenities. We had a most wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at this Airbnb. It exceeded our expectations. It has great living areas, plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen, and is in a great location walking distance to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Michelle's beach house. It was perfect for our long weekend. The fully fenced private backyard was perfect for the dog and kids to play badminton, volleyball and frisbee (which we took with us). As well as the fire pit to toast marshmallows and check our the endless stars. We were blessed with beautiful weather. The back deck, house and sleepout were all beautifully sunny. The house and bedrooms are nice and spacious. It was great that it was within walking distance to the play area and beach. We liked that you could drive on the beach to Peka Peka to explore. The sleepout was a perfect private retreat for my husband and I while the kids had the main house. We highly recommend Michelle's house in Te Horo for a lovely quite getaway only a short drive from Wellington, and greatly serviced by Waikanae, Otaki, Levin and Paraparaumu for takeaways, supermarkets and activities (such as the pool and ten pin bowling).

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The place was warm and cosy, with lots to do and space to spread out. Sarah was lovely to deal with - clear communication and instructions.

The house was tidy, very well appointed, clean and gorgeous. The deck is huge and the proximity to the wineries and the square was perfect.

Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

The place was just as pictured. Lovely loft barn style super cozy and comfortable. Jessica took the time to light the fire and have the place already warm for us before we got then and as very accommodating with any request. Would happily book here again

An absolutely lovely little getaway. The house is beautiful, warm, modern and cosy and has everything you need. The garden is private and lots of options for sitting outside and taking in the great view! We could hear tui and the beach from the garden. Great location, 3 min walk to the beautiful Otaihanga domain and river walk down to the estuary and beach or up to waikanae. Great for the dogs! Really handy to paraparumu, pubs, cafes, and shops. Lucy was a dream host - super helpful and kind. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back!

Great large property, with new house. Perfect property for dogs to run around and made the most of the outdoor fireplace.

We spent 5 awesome days at Lisa’s bach. The place was sparkling clean when we arrived. Everything matched the description and the bach had everything you needed for a family beach holiday. Lisa answered questions super quickly and was very friendly. Big bonus point that you can bring well behaved dogs. We will be back :)

A lovely town with a coastal and nature-filled vibe — very family-friendly. The host was wonderful and extremely helpful. The house is well-organized and comfortable for a family stay, including two bicycles available for guests to use. There are cute cafés around with a laid-back, holiday atmosphere.

I booked my mum and dad (both in their early 80s, travelling up from Oamaru) into Jason's cosy studio. It was a very stormy few days in the lower North Island, and they were visiting a sick relative, but they felt safe and cosy in the studio. They loved the vibrant artwork, the beautiful walk-in shower, and the proximity to Otaki township. Their only feedback is that, while very comfortable, the bed is quite low to the ground so those with limited mobility might find it a bit tricky. For my part (based in Auckland), Jason was always easy to reach and prompt in answering questions.

This is an awesome Airbnb. The pictures on the add do not do it justice. Lovely rural, peaceful setting. The house is super cosy but feels big at the same time. It has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and everything is modern throughout. The outdoor space is great and it was an extra bonus to be allowed take our dogs. They loved running around the sage fenced garden.
