Our experience in this accommodation was simply fantastic – the most beautiful accommodation we have ever had! The loving furnishings with the great accessories create a very special atmosphere in which you immediately feel right at home. Each room is designed with so much heart that you feel at home.  The hosts are really awesome: incredibly friendly, warm and always making sure that the guests lack nothing. You can immediately tell that hospitality is alive and well here. This accommodation is not for city lovers, but ideal for people who love it a little quieter and closer to nature. If you are looking for relaxation and recreation in an idyllic setting, you have come to the right place. We are thrilled and would come back anytime. You simply won't find better accommodation! Really a very nice apartment, always happy to come back.

We had a very pleasant time during our stay. The view of the canal and ability to sit outside is quite special. Access to public transportation great. The upstairs sleep area is basic and poorly lit. Shower and toilet are downstairs and are modern and work well. The kitchen is quite nice. As the access is through a little, poorly lit park frequented until late at night, you have to use your phone to see enough to unlock/lock the gate. Overall, a nice place to stay while in Hamburg.

Close to regular bus service to reach local train station. Walking distance to two big brand supermarkets. Apartment had everything we needed to self-cater during our stay, and was clean and comfortable. Doris and her husband were kind and welcoming.

First of all, we would like to thank Gisela and Martin for the cozy apartment and the beautiful atmosphere. We stayed in Schwarzenbek for 4 nights. Gisela personally welcomed us on arrival, but above all very friendly and guided us through the apartment. The apartment was clean and exactly as described and in the photos. Everything you need for a short break is available. You can also use the beautiful garden of Gisela and Martin. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the weather, so we had to settle for the great view :) In Schwarzenbek, there are plenty of shopping opportunities, restaurants and a bakery. We took about 40 minutes by car to Hamburg and Lübeck.

Great place to stay in the countryside! We visited Hamburg for 3 nights - the former waterworks is an original accommodation directly on the banks of the Elbe (even if you can only see the Elbe from the extreme corner of the window...). The building makes a freshly renovated impression, it's all tip-top. Although you are not far from the center of Hamburg, you will find yourself absolutely in the countryside, in a quiet environment. And the center of Blankenese is within walking distance, with shops, cafes, bars and S-Bahn. We were very pleased!

I was with my daughter for five nights in the accommodation and we had a really great time with Katharina and Jannik. We come from a big city ourselves and I usually find stays in another big city exhausting. Due to the abundance of greenery and the quiet location, our stay in Katharina and Jannick's apartment actually gave us a little country holiday feeling. We enjoyed walks through the beautiful Jenischpark down to the Elbe, at the same time the connection with public transport is so good that you can be in the center of Hamburg in a short time. The kitchen is well equipped, so you can easily cater for yourself. The possibility of washing laundry is also a plus, especially when traveling with a child. I'm sure we'll be back! Even the arrival was like coming home. We were greeted super friendly and no question remained unanswered. If there had been any questions, we could have asked at any time. The apartment is super lovingly furnished, with everything you need. Since it is outside of Hamburg City, you have absolute peace and quiet there and can fully enjoy the garden and the small terrace. Would love to come again anytime.

It was a great stay at Birgit's. To get to the apartment, you didn't even have to use Google Maps. The directions were extremely precise. The apartment was lovingly decorated and very well appointed. There were flyers with recommendations and Birgit also gave us great places. The location was also great. It is not far to places worth seeing.

Hamburg presented itself at its best – as did Deniz's apartment. We felt completely comfortable; everything corresponded exactly to our expectations. The accommodation was cozy and equipped with everything you need. Everything worked perfectly and the apartment was spotless. Deniz was very friendly and explained everything to us in detail. We will be happy to come back!

More than happy to recommend Andre’s apartment and use it again if we return to Hamburg. Andre was waiting at the front door when we arrived so certainly a great welcome. All communications were promptly replied to and he was very accomodating when I requested a slightly later check out time which enabled me to attend a Parkrun before we headed to the airport. The apartment was also within 5 minutes walk to both the S & U Bahns and bus services ran past the door.

A very nice, cozily furnished and quietly located apartment with everything you need. It is very well described and explains itself. The location of the apartment is great! Public transport was a 5 minute walk away. Easy to recommend!

My husband and I spent the vacation together with our 2 year old son in the apartment and were very enthusiastic. The check-in was very straightforward. The apartment is very well equipped and clean. It is clear that the house and garden are being taken care of intensively. The apartment is in a quiet location two side streets from the beach promenade. We agree with previous vacationers on the points of criticism. We also believe that a towel/linen package should be included in the price. The light of the WLAN router in the bedroom is really extremely bright. In addition, the pillows were far too voluminous. The three points are high-level complaints. We would book the apartment again without hesitation and always recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at Anja and Max's and enjoyed our stay to the fullest! The children were particularly enthusiastic - the many great toys inside and outside provided a lot of fun and variety. We adults also got our money's worth: the cozy sauna was a real highlight and contributed to the perfect relaxation. The apartment itself is very lovingly furnished, nothing is missing - really everything your heart desires. You feel completely comfortable from the first moment. It was our second stay at Quartierfreund, and we were completely satisfied again. The apartment was nicely decorated and well equipped. Especially the sauna and the bathtub were real highlights. Everything was clean, and the sea view from the balcony was simply fantastic. We had nothing to complain about and can only recommend the accommodation!

The check-in was great. Vivien is a super sweet and helpful hostess. She responds to requests, explains everything and always gets back to you promptly. We were super satisfied and would treat ourselves to a little break there again.
