Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Østfold

A guest house with a very good standard that has everything needed for two on a trip. Good with equipment for cooking, comfortable living room and good beds. Quiet and peaceful neighbourhood

I was looking for a place to stay where both me and my dogs could thrive. This means that it had to be a cozy house, in an area without cars and where it would be easy to walk the dogs. Jon David's place was above and beyond, the house was big, cozy, and sparkling clean. The location was exceptional for someone who loves beautiful nature. Jon David was also helpful with everything from the moment we arrived until we left. We spent a total of 3 wonderful nights at Jon David's place.

We enjoyed our stay at Liv Irene's beautiful home. It is such a cosy home with a beautiful garden and everything was very clean. The chickens and duck were so much fun to look at for our children and there are many beautiful spots to visit in the surroundings. Only downside was that many streets in the area are narrow without sidewalks so we felt most comfortable taking the car to get around since we had children with us.

Very nice accommodation to stay in. We were five adults and a dog. A cozy welcome gift in the kitchen awaited us. Great location. Quiet street with little traffic, even though it was close to the city center. We would be happy to come back another time.

We (two adults) had a great Pentecost weekend here in June 2025! André's place was perfect in every way; easy access, beautiful views and the home was clean, spacious and had everything we needed 😊 We will definitely book again if we go to the area on another occasion 👍🏼 Highly recommend!

The apartment was modern and stylish, and at the same time cozy with a view of the garden in peaceful surroundings. It was clean and nice, and good furniture and bed. It was extra nice that the host had put out chocolate.

Beautiful apartment and area, quiet, new, nice and clean. It is possible to park both inside the garage and outside. Very comfortable bed, everything seemed brand new. We would love to come back!

Nice accommodation, close to the city center where we celebrated May 17th, then be able to easily walk home and rest. Fresh apartment.

The house was very nice and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and close to nature, the highway, and Fredrikstad. The old town is easily accessible by a free ferry. The hosts were friendly and available whenever we needed them. I highly recommend this place.

My friend and I had a wonderful time here! It is cozy, has a nice view, and is in a location that is central enough in town to be within walking distance of a lot of stores and shopping areas. Would recommend, especially if you don’t have a car and will be walking.

Great apartment. Good instructions. Easy to find. Convenient with a shop nearby. The only thing that was stupid was that there was not a single towel or kitchen towel available. Otherwise, absolutely great!

Great and newly furnished apartment, with especially nice bathroom. Quite easy to find on GPS, private parking outside the door and easy to get in via lockbox. The kitchen was equipped with what I needed for the stay. The apartment is in a part of a single-family home, and one day the driveway to the parking lot was closed by other cars. Otherwise heard little from those staying in the other part of the house. The bed was maybe a little too hard for my taste, but here we are all different ;) All in all, a nice stay the little time I stayed in the apartment, and a short way to the E6 and shops (but you probably have to have a car).

Very happy with the stay! Cozy and warm reception upon arrival of Lise and the dog. 😊 After closer to a week on a camping trip, it was an absolutely lovely end to the trip to be able to take a good hot shower and sleep in a bed, couldn't be better! 😁👍🏼
