Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Österåker Municipality

Absolutely breathtaking scenery and amazing place! Can only recommend Connie’s beautiful retreat. We visited as a family with 3 little ones and loved it from first moment. Thx and will certainly come back.

Excellent house with incredible views, outside space was spacious and south-facing, very peaceful. Inside, very modern and great space for larger groups. Perfect for our family reunion and had everything we needed. Adam was a great host, even picked up our luggage on arrival from ferry, very much appreciated. Sauna on the jetty is a major highlight too, lovely evenings spent watching the sunset. The island shop is also well stocked and a short walk. Thank you to Adam for making our holiday a truly memorable experience.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Haus ist ein Traum und man findet alles vor was man für seinen Aufenthalt benötigt und wie es beschrieben ist. Auch die Kommunikation mit Maria lief unkompliziert und sie war stets hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und würden auf jeden fall wieder kommen!

Bra och kommunikativ värd!

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche hier verbracht. Man kann sehr gut entspannen und hat eine tolle Aussicht. Es gibt auch eine große Wiese zum Fußball spielen. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr nett und reagiert schnell auf Fragen. Unsere Lebensmittellieferung an den Steg hat gut funktioniert. Die Insel ist im Sommer gut über die Waxholmboote erreichbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We came in from Galveston Texas, to visit with family & friends. We booked Matt’s place because it was close to my family. Omg, it was a beautiful location. So peaceful. We were so rejuvenated after we got there after a long flight. Perfect place to come to after the hectic days. If & when we come in again, we will be calling on y’all. Thanks so much!

Det är ett fantastiskt boende med toppenläge till havet och Mats är en mycket trevlig värd. Han är engagerad med att gästerna ska känna sig välkomna. Härligt hus invändigt och mysig omgivning. Mycket fina sittgrupper på olika ställen i den stora och fina trädgården. Mycket djurvänlig värd då vi hade med oss två hundar.

Die Anlage mit den zwei Häusern und der extra Hütte war für uns 10 Personen perfekt. Der Garten ist traumhaft. Es gibt Morgensonne auf der Terrasse des Lilla Huset und Nachmittagssonne auf der Terrasse des Stor Huset. Das Gras ist weich und angenehm fürs barfuß gehen. Es gibt viele Sitzungmöglichkeiten im Garten. Das Trampolin haben die Kinder gern verwendet. Die Häuser sind sehr schön. Der näheste Badestrand ist nur 200m entfernt und geschützt vom Wind. (Eventuell Badeschuhe mitnehmen). Es gibt einen wunderschönen Badestrand weiter vorn am Arnövägen. Wir haben einige Himbeeren und Heidelbeeren gefunden. Das Lebensmittelsgeschäft (Tempo) in 5 km Entfernung hat alles was man braucht. Daneben gibt es tolles Eis (zB Erdbeersorbet) und einen Bäcker-Verkaufsstand. Leider gibt es keinen Fahrradweg dorthin, auch nach Linanäs nicht. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, war das Separett und dass die Hauptschlafzimmer weder Türen noch blickdichte Vorhänge zum Wohnraum hin hatten. Vielen Dank!!

We stayed with our two sons for five nights at Toms appartment and felt immediately at home. It had everything we needed, many things to visit nearby and just down the street. Tom and Sunnöve asked in advance if we feel comfortable. Our great plus was the rooftop terrace. We loved sitting there in the evening, having a glas of wine and watching the silouhette of Stockholm. Thanks for having us. Tack så mycket!

It was a great place for 3 of us. We were able to walk or take public transportation to most places.

Wonderful views with character and charming features in a fantastic location, walking distance to everything. Apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. A great great host, very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Gamla Stan!

Die Wohnung befindet sich in Gamla Stan, einem äußerst zentralen Viertel, das es ermöglicht, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, die Küche bietet alles, was man für die Zubereitung eigener Mahlzeiten braucht. Es ist der perfekte Rückzugsort nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der Stadt. Die Sauberkeit der Räumlichkeiten war tadellos und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Diese Wohnung ist ideal für alle, die Stockholm entdecken möchten, ohne auf Komfort und Gemütlichkeit verzichten zu müssen. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt! Danke Elisabeth und Nils für eure grosszügige Gastfreundschaft.

Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

Marie's apartment was fantastic for a weekend trip! The location was fantastic and close to everything. We had the best time ! and would highly recommend.

Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

Die Villa Sjöman ist der perfekte Ort für einen Urlaub mit mehreren Personen (Familie und/oder Freunde). Sie liegt etwa 10 Minuten vom Festland entfernt und ist - was wir ganz toll fanden - nur mit einem Boot zu erreichen Sie bietet innen und außen sehr viel Platz, sie liegt direkt am See, man kann baden, es werden SUPs und Kajaks zur Verfügung von Emelie und Jacob zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, es gibt zwei Bäder und ist hübsch und modern eingerichtet. Jacob hat uns beim Check in alles sehr ausführlich gezeigt und erklärt und ist mit uns auch die nähere Umgebung mit dem Boot abgefahren. Der Kontakt mit Emelie und Jacob ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend, herzlich und unkompliziert. Sie sind top Gastgeber. Besser geht’s nicht! Vielen Dank nochmal für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt.

Gabriels Haus war wirklich ein Glücksgriff! Wir durften in diesem wunderschönen und modernen Haus, inmitten des Stockholmer Archipel wohnen. Die autofreie Insel strahlte eine wohltuende Ruhe aus, in der wir alle wunderbar abschalten und uns entspannen konnten. Und wenn wir es mal etwas quirliger mochten, dann fuhren wir bequem mit der Fähre (1 h) oder dem Bus (45 Min.), von der 5 Minuten entfernten Insel Vaxholm, nach Stockholm und tauchten in das bunte Treiben ein. Gabriel überließ uns freundlicherweise, gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis, sein kleines Boot. Unser persönliches Highlight. Damit waren wir von den Fähren ungebunden und konnten, wann immer wir wollten, schnell nach Vaxholm rüberschippern um einzukaufen, bummeln oder Kaffee zu trinken. Auch konnten wir so ein wenig die Nachbarinseln erkunden. Gabriel ist ein Vorzeigegastgeber. Unheimlich nett, hilfsbereit, unkompliziert und antwortet immer zeitnah auf unsere Fragen. The home is gorgeous, with direct access to the water from the garden. Österskär is a peaceful place. Linus is a great host and very helpful in making our stay easy, nice and simple. Not to mention easy access to Stockholm, or the incredible Archipelago to visit again and again. We’ll come back !

Mycket härligt ställe! Fin omgivning och mysigt hus - perfekt att spendera en vår-/sommarhelg i detta boende.

Fantastic location and exactly as described. We enjoyed the sauna, the views and a fully equipped kitchen for a great weekend with friends. Absolutely recommendable.

Vi har haft nöjet av att få bo i Annikas fina hem under fyra veckor i juni månad. Huset är modernt med stora fönster som släpper in den svenska sommarens fina ljus. Det är rent och fint, mycket smakfullt inrett med kvalitet och stil. Samt mycket uppskattat med sängkläder och handdukar från Himla. Fantastiskt fin och insynsskyddad trädgård med både pool och intilliggande bastuhus. Vi har haft en lugn och skön tid i Annikas fina hus på fantastiska Resarö. Tips är att promenera till Paviljongen för att äta lunch eller middag, samt att besöka Vaxholm för restaurang besök, shopping eller för att ta er vidare ut i skärgården. Tar endast ca 30-40 minuter med bil in till Stockholm eller ca en timmes färd med båt från Ytterby brygga. Tack Annika för en utomordentligt bra vistelse i ditt fina hem som vi gärna återkommer till!

Gunilla and Niklas were very responsive before and throughout our stay. Easy 45 minute drive from Arlanda. Property is lovely - all rooms are light, airy and beautifully decorated. Kitchen has all the equipment you could want. Beds are comfy. Lots of places to sit inside and out - especially the front porch, which is a suntrap with a view of the sea. Some great recommendations of places locally to visit. Plus some nice restaurants - though need a car, nothing walkable. 15 minute drive to a station (with free parking) for direct train into Stockholm (45 mins). 30 minute drive to Vaxholm where you can pick up boats to the islands. A beautiful location, we had a lovely stay.
