Beachfront holiday rentals in Oscoda Township

We loved the beautiful lake views and that we could bring our dog with us. Stargazing while enjoying s’mores at the fire pit was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were looking for a peaceful retreat-like property and this filled the bill. Every morning we were greeted by colorful sunrises. Each evening we had a full view of the star-filled sky, anchored by a brilliant moon. The property is such that guests have a unobstructed full view of the lake through t the spacious glass door windows. We began our days sitting on the beach as the sun rose. Each evening we ended the day gathered around a fire which was fueled by a generous stockpile of wood provided by Mark and Company. The property has plenty of woods, enough for a mini-wilderness walk. Most everything is provided for every day needs. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc. Beds are super comfortable. We even surpised ourselves by collaborarting on assembling a jig-saw puzzle provided by the property. Thanks Mark. Great job.

The cabin was nice and felt homey, would definitely stay here again and recommend!

Had a great stay, was very convenient to have the golf course blocks away and use of a private dock. This allowed us to pack multiple activities into each day. The home was in great shape and the outside space perfect!

Pros- Stunning views from the living area to the lake. Plenty of sandy beach front with all the rocks you would ever want in the water. Impressively clean and beds were made like you were at a 5 star resort. Kim has raised the bar for being a host with Airbnb!! Kim is a 5 star host and thought of everything to make our stay like it was our home. Cons- I don’t have anything negative to say regarding the host, the cabin, the cleanliness, and the location. Kim mentioned this is not baby or child proof; the only concern I would have if I brought little ones would be the outside. There are steep steps down to the beach. Every house in this area has just as many steps down from the house to the beach. Plenty of beach area once you are there, just keep in mind if you pick up rocks, you will have to carry those up the steps.

We enjoyed our time here and thought it was very clean and well organized! Having kayaks, fishing, paddle boat, fishing boat etc all available to us and all kinds of water and beach toys was great. Things are super organized in their well-lit shed and having all these things accessible to us was a huge perk of staying here. The cabin was cute and very clean and welcoming.

Peaceful lake vacation with lots to do on the water. Our family loved the kayaks, paddle boards, rowboat, and large mat to play in the water. Everything was there to simply enjoy a serene family vacation on the lake. My son brought his fishing poles and they went out fishing in the boat and kayak and played all the time on the lake. We also enjoyed having my family over who we were in town to visit, and all sit at the the water’s edge in the numerous comfortable chairs provided, just catching up. Everything was perfect for enjoying one another’s company. The house itself is spacious and accommodating for a large family. Comfortable beds, plenty of area to hang out and be cozy while watching a movie, or separate the kids off from those who stay up a little later in the adjoining kitchen area. A perfect place! Book now absolutely.

Perfect place to spend the weekend! House is small, but furnished perfectly, you do not feel cramped in any way! Beautiful views, nice pool and hot tub also! So glad we found this airbnb! I’d give 10 stars if possible.

Cottage was exactly as described. Really enjoyed the beachside fire pit. Met some lovely folks and shared fireside stories. Great location. Fantastic bargain.

This is our second stay at the property. We loved it. We took our two year old grandson and we rented just for the pool and hot tub. So nice to just unwind and recharge. It’s easy to do at this property. Easily cooked dinner and shopped for our needs. I think this is our new place to come!

We love the Gaylord area! Reasonable distance to Mackinac Island and all the wonderful places and beautiful wildlife.

Very clean, and had great amenities! It’s a little outdated, however that did not take from the cleanliness and functionality of the place! Loved it!

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

It had a kitchen stocked with cookware . No silverware but not a big deal we had plastic. Great beach and fire pit. Close to kayaking the Ausable River . Which we did and ended our day with a bonfire on the beach. Cozy set up with little living space and Roku for the TV. We really enjoyed our get away Aaron is a great Host. He have gave clear directions and details and communicated well.

We drove up a bit warily as previous stays at other places were not what they appeared! This went the other direction! Beautiful, quiet, absolutely lovely!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very comfortable with a great view of the lake. Walking distance to town and short walk to the beach which is amazing! We enjoyed the back room spending time with the family which had plenty of seating for all. The bonfire pit is great to watch sunsets with a clear view to the lake. We're looking forward to our next week here!

The cottage was cute, everything we expected. Very accommodating for my bridesmaids as I was married on the 7th. Only 2 miles from my location so everything was comfortable and easy and as you know, the least amount of issues the better. Very grateful to the host for the cozy accommodations free from issues. Will use again if we need to, we usually have large gatherings in the summer.

This was our second time staying at Blue Haven and many improvements have been made in that time. We had an issue with heat, however that was due to DTE servicing and upgrading gas lines and equipment and not at all the owners fault. Owners were extremely responsive in their follow up calls and texts with us and had a staff member out to the cottage first thing in the am to address the issue! Everything that was in the control of the owners was great! And the things that happen outside of that make for an adventure! Yes, we will stay there again when we're in the area and recommend it. The beach is lovely, and very peaceful in October!

We booked this house for a weekend to use as the base for our weekend tube trip. Mark has it filled with tons of water toys and outside games to play. For any question I had he responded very quickly and was really helpful. This place was a perfect getaway spot. So relaxing and peaceful right on the lake.

This was our first Airbnb experience, and it exceeded our expectations! My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. The house was cozy, well-stocked, and truly felt like home. We especially enjoyed sitting outside by the beach, which was such a peaceful and relaxing experience. The house even had extra beach items that made our stay even more enjoyable. We only needed to bring a few extra items since everything we needed was provided.

Our stay was very beautiful and relaxing. Everything was super clean and felt homey. Communication was great, and this was perfect for me and my partner. Right on the lake and absolutely stunning. Only thing I would note is that with warm weather and it being on the lake there are a lot of flying bugs (but that's to be expected). It is a bit pricey, but I would highly recommend this for your next stay up north!
