Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Osa

Buena atención de Gerardo, nos recibió y dio recomendaciones. La casa tiene cocina bien equipada, aire acondicionado y todo lo que se anunciaba. Se encuentran otras casas en el terreno pero igual tiene su privacidad. El baño tiene una cortina corrediza en vez de puerta, lo cual podría ser incómodo para algunas personas. Se escuchaba la radio de los vecinos fuerte en algunas ocasiones, pero en la noche fue silencioso y pudimos descansar bien.

We had a great stay at the apartment. Because we had a very early rise to go into Corcovado national park Alberto really helped by letting our car stay on the fenced parking lot and make clear arrangements for the pickup. If you’re looking for a comfortable place in Puerto Jiménez, this is a great option that I recommend!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. The cabin we were in slept 4 of us perfectly. The kitchen was stocked to cook what ever you need. The pool was refreshing after a long day. Andres was able to get us some fresh local TUNA 🍣. Parrots, Macaws, Monkeys are abundant in this area along with many other birds. We day tripped to Matapalo which is a absolutely beautiful area. Watch your drones lol lost mine to CaraCara in Cabo Matapalo . We’re drove to Carate which is the end of the road in the OSA and had a beautiful day in the upper part of the river. It’s wise to know some Spanish in this area as we found there wasn’t many English speakers around. This area is a absolute gem. All dirt roads past Puerto Jimenez and a few river crossings so it’s wise to have a bigger car or 4x4. The beach close to the house is perfect for shallow swims and the water was clear (lots of mangrove around) just an FYI. All I can say is explore this area it’s Paradise. Thanks for the GREAT STAY

We were looking for a place to stay last minute for one night, and so grateful to have found Gissel's airbnb ! It was just as described in the photos and description. Clean, cute decor, and it had everything we needed, including a washer/dryer! Gissel was quick to respond, and the communication was easy! Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

Great Airbnb, it's a little apartment just for yourself surrounded by nature. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. The bedroom is nice and has a TV. The AC works well but is a bit noisy. Tamar and Alberto are super nice and friendly and also responsive with communication. Perfect location if you want to visit Corcovado or surroundings. I highly recommend.

Fue un excelente hospedaje. La canina estaba impecable al llegar y siempre que necesitamos contactarlos estaban atentos a ayudarnos. El lugar aparte de estar muy bien cuidado y rodeado de maravillosa naturaleza, cuenta inclusive con todos los utensilios necesarios para cocinar, teniendo aún la delicadeza de poner a disposición diversos aceites o sazonadores para cocinar. Las camas estaban impecables, el baño igual, con los paños a disposición doblados de una manera muy elegante y la ducha contaba con champú y acondicionador. Asimismo tienen un “brochure” en inglés y español sobre lo que se puede disfrutar en la zona, ofreciendo su ayuda de ser necesario! Al igual que cuentan sobre los diferentes restaurantes que hay cerca y cuentan con una opción en la cual los huéspedes pueden pedir brunch para entrega en el lugar de un restaurante local. En síntesis, fue una excelente experiencia que todos disfrutamos y 100% sus instalaciones son PetFriendly!

Excelente alojamiento! Don Durman siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros por mensajes y muy amable con cada consulta que teníamos, además Doña Carmen su abuelita fue muy hospitalaria y el perrito "mambo" es la mascota del lugar y muy amigable. El Airbnb es exactamente como lo describen e igual a las fotos, todo muy muy limpio, zona segura y tranquila, privado, todo funciona perfectamente y las instrucciones fueron claras. No tenemos ninguna queja, fue una experiencia muy amena y de seguro que volveremos! Muchas gracias a Don Durman por un excelente servicio en este hermoso lugar 🙌🏻✨️

This is a must-visited place in Costa Rica. Greg helps with anything and has an amazing place! It's better than all other touristic places. His jungle-retreat was cleaner than all other places we visited in Costa Rica. You feel totally alone (with your friend or partner) in the jungle. There is a nice (hot) shower and when necessary a fresh river pool in the back. If you make your plans for the Osa I don't recommend a standard Corcovado (family) tour, because you'll be disappointed after reading books. Greg can help you to arrange tours with Sabalo lodge nearby for non-touristic tours adapted to your needs. Recommended also is to go to Sierpe and then Greg could help you further to get to his place.

We fell home right away and it was wonderful to talk to Barbara Ann and about her experiences in Costa Rica. While showering outside we saw many macaws and a few toucans. Absolutely recommended!

This location is outstanding! Our family had a wonderful time enjoying the property, the local hotel, and local wildlife!! We hope to be back! Thank you to Indra for your hospitality.

If you're looking for a spot just off the beaten path with the beauty of the rainforest right at your fingertips and the coast just a short walk away, then this is the place for you. The layout and outdoor living spaces of the home allow you to enjoy the toucans, scarlet macaws, hummingbirds and even monkeys if you have a keen eye. The howler monkey was hard to spot, but he put on quite a show! You'll spot wildlife along the path to the beach as well, so enjoy the short walk. After you've spotted the iguana and what we thought was an agouti, you'll find the truly semi-private beach. We will miss the magic of the coast and rainforest for sure. Uvita is just a short drive away and we liked that it wasn't heavily congested. You'll find a waterfall close to Uvita and we discovered the hidden gem of a restaurant called Tilapias El Pavón. All that to say, we loved the location. It was peaceful and had everything we needed for the perfect beach vacation.

Wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect. Close to everything, restaurants, shopping and of course the beach. Neff was very responsive when asked questions. Gave great recommendations for restaurants. The bed and furniture were extremely comfortable. And the best thing was the pool. We used it every day rain or shine. Will hopefully be back soon!!

We had an amazing week at the casita! Heather was so helpful at every step of the way and went above and beyond to immediately address an issue we were having with the TV and to answer other questions to help us get situated. Even before we arrived in Costa Rica, she was offering suggestions and advice which was much appreciated. The casita is exactly as pictured and was truly an authentic jungle experience -- really magical. Seeing a whole troop of monkeys swing by on the trees off the balcony was a highlight for sure!

It’s only been 5 hours since we left and we miss our casita already. Colin and Stephanie are great hosts and very nice people. We quickly felt right at home and our 1 month stay went too quickly. We loved the neighborhood, great for a challenging walks when we wanted extra exercise. Groceries close by, great restaurants and we loved the variety of beaches with in 20 minutes. Colin’s chickens provided us with the best eggs, we really appreciated that! We would love to return and look forward to enjoying the new pool and casita’s that will be completed soon.

My husband and I along with my sister and her boyfriend stayed here. We rented the whole house and thought it was lovely. Everyone that helped us was so nice and made us feel at home. We all loved the deck and open dining area. There were lots of things to do close to the house and being so close to the Rio Tigre was wonderful.
