We decided to go away over the new year and chose Kristine and Hans place in Norway What a great choice ! Kristine and Hans where great and very accommodating and could not do enough, they kept us informed about everything all the way We had the best holiday ever, we had everything we could wish for, the northern lights and a ton of snow We were snowed in on the last day and Kristine and Hans let us stay a extra night as we could not travel They where the perfect hosts and we will be stopping here again without any hesitation Thanks you both

What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

Had a lovely stay at this cabin! Beautiful location with so stunning views all around. The cabin was clean and cozy, everything was as described. A lovely warm shower after a rainy day was perfect! Friendly and fast replies from the host Anita. Highly recommend!

Kjempefint og sjarmerende hus 😊 Godt utstyrt med det en trenger for å bo. Litt avsidesliggende sted, men med bil er jo ikke det noe problem! Herlig med badestamp 👌 Traff aldri verten, men lett å kommunisere med henne på melding, hun svarte raskt om det var noe vi lurte på. Oppholdet anbefales av oss, vi bestiller gjerne igjen om vi skal til området ved en senere anledning!

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

A wonderful find! This was a perfect stop on our roadtrip, to rest up. Roar made it very easy for us to find it by giving us precise directions. Our host was away during our stay but made us feel completely at home. Thank you Roar! Spacious dining/living areas, brightly lit up with a lot of natural light, and with a view. A well provisioned kitchen. Comfortable beds. Very clean and tidy all around.

We loved staying here! The house was the perfect size and so cozy. The view was amazing and the proximity to hikes and Runde island to see the puffins were perfect. Check in was easy and the host is very responsive and helpful. It had everything you needed and felt like being at home, If home was overlooking a fjord and mountains! Would definitely stay here again I absolutely loved it!

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold i denne fine hytta! Hytta var ren, koselig og hadde alt vi trengte for et avslappende opphold. Beliggenheten var nydelig – stille omgivelser, vakker natur og perfekt for å koble av fra hverdagen. Anbefales virkelig, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

This place was perfect for our needs. Group of six. Came in for one night. Able to make a great dinner the kitchen. Great nights sleep. Easy access to the via feratta. Would stay agin! Great place.

A fantastic property, exactly as described, with all needs taken care of. All major attractions within a 30 minute drivable distance and a grocery store that sells practically everything literally at your doorstep We really should have planned to stay for longer than 2 days.

Sonja was kind and communicative and her home was perfect! It was a wonderful retreat and had everything we needed. Proximal to all the gorgeous sites in the area. Would recommend in a beat!

We had an amazing stay at an amazing Norwegian farmhouse with hiking nearby and floating saunas on the fjord in Sæbo. Very central to take ferries wherever you want to go. We highly recommend staying here!

Gorgeous scenery! Great view of the mountains from both the front and back of the house. The house was very nice and clean. The location was perfect as it was remote and private while also being close to the Hellesylt ferry and other attractions. Amazing stay, would absolutely recommend!

What a magical place! The house is in one of the most breathtaking spots we’ve ever visite right between the mountains and the water. Waking up to those views felt unreal. The home itself was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a peaceful, comfortable stay. Endre was a great host very easy to communicate with and made sure everything was clear before our arrival. The check-in was smooth, and we really appreciated how quiet and private the area was. It was the perfect escape from the city and gave us a chance to really relax and enjoy the nature around us. Eine tolle Unterkunft und ein toller Host =) wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche im Haus, und auch wenn das Wetter nicht immer mitgespielt hat, konnten wir die Zeit genießen. Steinar ist toll - immer erreichbar, kurzfristige Vorschläge je nach Wetter und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder =)

Fantastisk koselig plass med den finaste utsikta ein kan tenkje seg. Marit tok imot oss når vi kom og vi følte oss veldig velkomne og godt ivaretekne gjennom heile opphaldet. Kan anbefalast på det varmaste!

A great stay! We went there for a local beer festival, which was in a walking distance. The place is greatly located above a convinient store, so it was easy to get food etc. The place is like home comfortable and nice. The beds were super soft. Lise Katrin was super helpful and inviting host, where we got great information and communication.

Een groot en gezellig huis met alle voorzieningen die nodig zijn voor langere verblijven. Een fijne plek om op afstand te werken. De omgeving is prachtig en vanuit het huis heb je een mooi uitzicht. Ondanks veel regen tijdens ons verblijf hebben we genoten van de bergen, het huis en de cider. Het contact met Borgny ging heel soepel. We werden gastvrij ontvangen en werden zelfs uitgenodigd om een keer mee te gaan met vissen. Al met al een heel goed verblijf gehad hier!

Väldigt trevligt hus med hemkänsla. Vi hade tillgång till allt i huset och det var toppen att allt fanns och fick nyttjas. Stort plus att sängkläder och handdukar ingick då det annars tar mycket plats i packning. Läget är helt magiskt. Utsikten slår det mesta!
