We decided to go away over the new year and chose Kristine and Hans place in Norway What a great choice ! Kristine and Hans where great and very accommodating and could not do enough, they kept us informed about everything all the way We had the best holiday ever, we had everything we could wish for, the northern lights and a ton of snow We were snowed in on the last day and Kristine and Hans let us stay a extra night as we could not travel They where the perfect hosts and we will be stopping here again without any hesitation Thanks you both

What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

Superb stay. One of our favourites in Norway. A very cozy house with lots of space and a brilliant outside deck with awesome views of the mountains and fjord. It has a lived-in feel, but that makes it all the more charming and cozy in my view. Terje is a great host and a great guy. The wood fire and hot tub outside is perfect and it’s a great outdoors eating space. The kitchen has everything you need and the living room wood burner is great (plus huge TV for when you need it). A very cool restaurant/pub, Christian Gaard, is a short ferry away and there are great walks nearby (and a beautiful waterfall 30 seconds from the garden). Huge recommend - would love to return someday.

Had a lovely stay at this cabin! Beautiful location with so stunning views all around. The cabin was clean and cozy, everything was as described. A lovely warm shower after a rainy day was perfect! Friendly and fast replies from the host Anita. Highly recommend!

Awesome and charming house 😊 Well equipped with what you need to stay. A little secluded place, but by car it's not a problem! Delightful with hot tubs 👌 Never met the host, but easy to communicate with her on message, she responded quickly if there was anything we were wondering about. The stay is recommended by us, we are happy to book again if we are going to the area at a later date!

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

Wonderful place to stay in Rekdal! Very nice hosts who are happy to have you here and are happy to help you and give you lots of tips about the area! Highly recommended!

A wonderful find! This was a perfect stop on our roadtrip, to rest up. Roar made it very easy for us to find it by giving us precise directions. Our host was away during our stay but made us feel completely at home. Thank you Roar! Spacious dining/living areas, brightly lit up with a lot of natural light, and with a view. A well provisioned kitchen. Comfortable beds. Very clean and tidy all around.

We loved staying here! The house was the perfect size and so cozy. The view was amazing and the proximity to hikes and Runde island to see the puffins were perfect. Check in was easy and the host is very responsive and helpful. It had everything you needed and felt like being at home, If home was overlooking a fjord and mountains! Would definitely stay here again I absolutely loved it!

We had a fantastic stay in this nice cabin! The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was beautiful – quiet surroundings, beautiful nature and perfect for relaxing from everyday life. Highly recommended, and we will be happy to come back!

This place was perfect for our needs. Group of six. Came in for one night. Able to make a great dinner the kitchen. Great nights sleep. Easy access to the via feratta. Would stay agin! Great place.

A fantastic property, exactly as described, with all needs taken care of. All major attractions within a 30 minute drivable distance and a grocery store that sells practically everything literally at your doorstep We really should have planned to stay for longer than 2 days.

Sonja was kind and communicative and her home was perfect! It was a wonderful retreat and had everything we needed. Proximal to all the gorgeous sites in the area. Would recommend in a beat!

We had an amazing stay at an amazing Norwegian farmhouse with hiking nearby and floating saunas on the fjord in Sæbo. Very central to take ferries wherever you want to go. We highly recommend staying here!

Gorgeous scenery! Great view of the mountains from both the front and back of the house. The house was very nice and clean. The location was perfect as it was remote and private while also being close to the Hellesylt ferry and other attractions. Amazing stay, would absolutely recommend!

What a magical place! The house is in one of the most breathtaking spots we’ve ever visite right between the mountains and the water. Waking up to those views felt unreal. The home itself was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a peaceful, comfortable stay. Endre was a great host very easy to communicate with and made sure everything was clear before our arrival. The check-in was smooth, and we really appreciated how quiet and private the area was. It was the perfect escape from the city and gave us a chance to really relax and enjoy the nature around us. A great accommodation and a great host =) we had a wonderful week in the house, and even if the weather did not always cooperate, we were able to enjoy the time. Steinar is great - always available, short-term suggestions depending on the weather and always very helpful. We will be happy to come back =)

It was quiet and well-equipped with everything, so I was able to stay comfortably. We will use it again next time.

Fantastically cozy place with the finest view you can imagine. Marit welcomed us when we arrived and we felt very welcome and well taken care of throughout the stay. Highly recommend!

A great stay! We went there for a local beer festival, which was in a walking distance. The place is greatly located above a convinient store, so it was easy to get food etc. The place is like home comfortable and nice. The beds were super soft. Lise Katrin was super helpful and inviting host, where we got great information and communication.

A large and cozy house with all the amenities needed for longer stays. A nice place to work remotely. The area is beautiful and from the house you have a beautiful view. Despite a lot of rain during our stay, we enjoyed the mountains, the house and the cider. The contact with Borgny went very smoothly. We were warmly welcomed and were even invited to go fishing with them. All in all, had a very good stay here!
