The Peacock Perch is named after the resident peacocks family. The suite is connected to an occupied house by a locking breezeway. The perch is situated atop a hill looking out on beautiful Lake Rosa. We swim, fish and boat regularly because Rosa is a clear sand bottom lake! The walk from the cabin to the lakefront is down hill and semi steep, but terraced. 🦚Short stay cleaning fee $50 🦚morning check in 🦚late afternoon check out 🦚no minimum stay, come for just a single night if you wish!

This lake house is super cute and is a great place to get away. The atmosphere was so relaxing and beautiful. The lake is full of different kinds of bass fish and the view is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house.

We were very happy to find Amanda's place for our long weekend stay. The home was very clean and nicely decorated and we loved that it had a large natural property next to the lake. The lake was lovely. Having kayaks to use was a huge plus! There were comfy chairs to relax by the water, and a fire pit which we didn't have a chance to use. Our daughter was graduating from UF in nearby Gainesville with her second degree after 6 years and I wish we had looked around and found this rental before now! We enjoyed it very much. We had everything we needed, even for cooking a dinner. Thank you, Amanda!

As a female traveler, I felt completely safe throughout my stay, even without my loyal German Shepherd, who was also welcomed off-leash. The peaceful comfort of the property was exactly what I needed to rejuvenate. Cozy accommodations and tranquil surroundings seemed thoughtfully designed to promote healing and calm. The wildlife was extraordinary—majestic cranes taller than me, jumping fish, nesting eagles, playful cats, and vibrant lizards all added to the charm. The connection to nature here is awe-inspiring and made my time truly special. Every moment spent was restorative and unforgettable. The extra clothes hangers are a real plus.

We had a wonderful stay here! The place is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights for us was spending time with the animals – they have horses and ponies, and we even got to feed them carrots! It was such a sweet and memorable experience. The whole property feels like a hidden gem, and we truly felt at home. My fiancée and I are already talking about coming back soon. Highly recommend!
