Watch the harbour activities and ever changing vista from the deck of our clean and comfortable home. We are situated just above the car ferry on the Russell side of the Opua harbour. The ferry cost is $18 per car & runs a continual service. Or you can walk on for just $2 per person. Please note that although you have sole occupancy of the house, the property has another cottage & resident in it. The driveway is also shared. Kiwi spotting is a favourite thing to do. Red torch supplied to do this

The Captain's Cove

Welcome Aboard our self-contained unit for 4 people. Hosts live above. Plenty of parking for boat and 6 minutes to the sea, hook up a catch for the day. Come and relax in the bay, with lots to do and see, including the local trike tour rides for a different wave! If summer doesn't inspire a near clinical obsession with the water, then we don't know what does! Enjoy your visit & may all who enter as guests leave as friends. Bay of Islands Crossroads Homestay (B&B)

Self contained (attached to rest of house) own external access, bedroom, kitchen/ lounge, bathroom w shower & bath. Breakfast supplies: tea/coffee etc, organic seasonal fruit, homemade scones/jam/preserves. Unlimited WIFI. Tea Tree Cottage

Tea Tree Cottage is half way between Paihia and Opua with access to both via the coastal track . It is the perfect base for a walking holiday with many walks in close proximity. You’ll love the cottage as it is quiet and has native bush between it and the water. The place is perfectly set up for couple, twin share or those with a new family (portacot available on request). Accessibility: Please note the cottage is situated down a flight of garden stairs.

Our home is situated within walking distance of two beaches, cafes, bars and nightlife in Paihia. It is only a 5 minute walk to where you can hire bikes, kayaks and sailboards. A further 5 minutes will have arriving at the centre of town where you will be able to book fishing trips, parasailing, ferry ride to Russell and scenic helicopter flights over the Bay of Islands.
