Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Welcome to our 'B and B 40 A'

our B&B is located near the tourist center of Medemblik, on through navigable water, with a parking space on its own property. Our living room has an open kitchen with hob, Nespresso, kettle, fridge, and combi microwave. and Wi-Fi is available. It is a complete cottage with its own front door and from this ideally located accommodation you can also rent bikes, boating, walking, to museums and/or to the castle, or go on the scenic steam train to Hoorn, etc. You can also rent bikes from us.

Wellness Lodge with private sauna and jacuzzi

Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

The apartment has its own entrance and consists of a bedroom with double bed and an extra single bed, living room, kitchen and dining area. You have a view of the beautiful tea garden where you can enjoy delicious coffee and tea. Oostwoud has a strategic rural location, close to cities such as Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Medemblik (10-20 min), Alkmaar and Amsterdam (30-40 min) and nature such as the IJsselmeer (5 min) and the beach (40 min). Also an ideal starting point for cycling routes.

Get away from it all, enjoy nature on the edge of the IJsselmeer and beach. In the 3300m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.

In the beautiful West-Friesland in Oostwoud, we rent a 4-person holiday home called "Papenveer". This vacation home is located in a small vacation park. It is located on through water with beautiful views and privacy. The garden is fully enclosed Papenveer is a cozy, cottage with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms. It is located on through water with beautiful views and privacy. Hazeweel is a cozy, modern, spacious house equipped with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms. This modern furnished holiday home is located in Opperdoes near the IJsselmeer lake. There is free Wi-Fi and parking at the house. Sheets and towels are included. The centre of Medemblik is only 2 kilometers away. Amsterdam and Callantsoog (North Sea beach) are a 40 minutes drive. Also Texel is nice to visit. This property is located on a site that is partly privately rented (and partly offered through Dormio Resort).
