We’re so glad to have found our way to this resort. Nestled in its own Bay Area, we enjoyed watching the sunset from the dock while making friends with other guests (shout out to Melody and Frank-e, thanks for the laughs). The Coolest Funkiest Boathouse Style Studio

A stunning studio with fireplace, full kitchen, large Smart TV, amazing hot tub, ,firepit and 3 outdoor sitting areas including a covered outdoor dining area with BBQ! Articulating bed so you can sit up and watch TV or have breakfast and still be snuggled under the covers. Funkiest decor ever - 100-year-old shutters, oars marine sign, piano leg, and old lantern lights and an old boat in the garden , this place is overflowing with character. Best beach ever is steps away! Early and late check in and outs may be available and charged accordingly. Perfect central location- easy drive to Blue Mountain and the Village at Blue, steps to beach, close to micro breweries, wineries, small towns, Shopping, biking, golfing, hiking and more. Quiet neighbourhood, easy access to major roads and very cool house! Guests can park on property and enjoy the yard. Happy to meet the guests or let them enjoy private time! The home is steps away from a quiet, sandy sunset beach, and a short walk to the public beach. There's biking, skiing, kayaking, golfing, and hiking within easy reach, and Collingwood's shops and restaurants are a short drive away. Easy access to everything with a car. Beaches, hiking and biking are right outside the front door! This little area is known as Brock’s Beach and was settled by a few families that would buy the entire street. When their kids grew up, they built little cottages on their parent’s street so people around this area have a life time of enjoying this hidden gem and everyone knows everyone. In the evening, everyone walks along the beach or down the tree lined streets. In the summer, everyone sits in the front yard with a campfire so they can say hello to their neighbours. As only a few homes are winterized, the area is very peaceful in the winter. Being close to the lake means lots of beautiful white fluffy snow which turns all the trees into a beautiful winter wonderland.

Sumac Cabin has been renovated from top to bottom, with a gorgeous kitchen, stone countertops and high end appliances. A luxurious bathroom with rain shower, three large bedrooms (two organic king beds and a double bunkbed) and a large, cozy living room and fireplace. With views of the gardens and the gorgeous river, Sumac Cabin has its own brand-new BBQ, beachside fire pit and a personal canoe to explore our beautiful waterways and all the surrounding (and empty!) local white sand beaches.

Our appointed Lakeview Rooms offer one king bed with plush bedding and a hypo-allergenic duvet. A balcony through a set of sliding glass doors overlooks the beautiful Paudash Lake, with two chairs to take in the views and relax! A 3PC bathroom includes a shower with a glass door, toiletries and a blow dryer. Lakeview Rooms are equipped with A/C. A flat-screen television has a full range of channels through Shaw Cable. You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. Cottage #8 has 3 bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with two single mattresses. There is satellite television in the living room. The bathroom has a shower, no tub. Kitchen is equipped with full size fridge and stove, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, toaster. Outside you have a deck, propane BBQ, table, chairs, fire pit and a personal dock.

We throughly enjoyed our stay with Inga. There are so many things to do at this resort and I can’t say we had enough time to do them all in our one night stay. Definitely aim for a few nights! Inga and her staff went above and beyond, even having to deal with a serious medical emergency while we were there. It is great to stay with someone who cares so much for their guests. A hidden gem!

Footprints is a hidden gem in the Kawarthas, a little paradise! lots of things to do in the resort, lots of space and seating areas. Swimming in the beautiful lake was perfect! We were very fortunate to have the entire place for ourselves for almost two days, when guests arrived for the weekend we found that everyone knows how to be respectful of your space. It was nice to share stories by the fire or by the hot tub with friendly people. We would love to go back!

This resort was very unexpected! I went when the weather was very cold and rainy and still had an awesome time! Had a fire every night and met some really great people! And the lookout from the hot tub was beautiful! I will definitely be booking to come back in 1 month!! I 100% recommend
