Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Onomichi

On the way back, I also stop at the observation deck of Mt. Takami and souvenir shops at the foot of Senko-ji Temple, and I think it is a good place to spend time as a base for sightseeing around Onomichi and Shimanami Kaido and enjoy a little extraordinary.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb! It was close enough to the city to walk around, but the house itself was very cozy with lots of nature surrounding it. The host was very helpful to answer all of my question. We did have trouble calling taxis with the popular apps, but we were able to flag them down pretty quickly. Our host even called us a taxi after checkout which was very helpful. The hill up to the house is a bit of a workout, so stretch beforehand lol! I would definitely stay again.

We loved our taste of Japanese island village life. Diane was a welcoming host, helping us arrange transportation to her house from the Omishima bus stop and giving us great advice about the local area. The house had amazing views of the bridge and surrounding mountains in a peaceful and natural location.

The room is very nice.There was also a barbecue grill, so we enjoyed the barbecue without the need for charcoal.

Very kind and warm host who was responsive and greeted us graciously. A wonderful stay at a large, clean, and homey house. All the amenities were thoughtful, and the A/C and shower worked like a charm! The host even accommodated us by taking our bikes in to the garage and opening it at 6am for us to leave early to finish Shimanami Kaido. Amazing and would stay again!!

Had an amazing stay, Yoshiharu was super kind and responsive, and was very supportive and flexible with our group during our stay. Space was very large and nice, really close to Shin-Onimichi.

I felt like I was visiting a relative's house in the countryside.The room was clean and there were a lot of toys for small children to play with, and the whole family had a good time. The friendliness of the host was pleasant, and it was a lovely place to stay that I would like to come back again!

The room was also beautiful, and the hair dryer dried quickly with Dyson.There are no restaurants on the island, but I had a BBQ with ingredients I bought before getting on the ferry.You can also lend me a cutting board, knife, tongs, etc., and I think it's okay if you bring ingredients. Such a beautiful, comfortable villa with stunning surrounding views and super peaceful. Could have stayed there for longer! Kazu was super informative from the moment of booking telling us useful information about the area including the fact that there aren’t many restaurants so we were prepared in advance and knew to go to the supermarket which Kazu also provided directions to. Would stay again if I was ever to do the shimanami kaido route again!

It was the first Onomichi, Shimanami Kaido, but it was the best memory. From the inn, you have a panoramic view of the beautiful Seto Inland Sea and the islands.We stayed for 3 nights with a family of four, including a one-year-old child, but it was very helpful to have a lot of flexibility.There were also plenty of activities such as kayaking and sup, and there was nothing to say. I want to go again! The swing provided in the PS was very popular with the kids!

We had an amazing time in the most beautiful home, Masafumi is the best and nicest host 🙏🏻 The barbecue area was amazing and the local supermarket (about a 5 minute walk) has some of the best beef you’ll ever try! We will definitely come back again one day

Two couples and a small dog used it. The spacious dog run and the floor plan is too large for two people. There was even an open-air bath, so it was a waste in a day. It was a lovely place to stay I'd love to stay again.
