I would like to say that Rose & Wal were very welcoming, especially after a very long drive from Taranaki to Tauranga due to an unfortunate crash on the Awakino gorge. Everything was really cleaned and fresh. Next time i would like to bring my family and spend a good couple of days to enjoy the beautiful city more. Thanks again Rose and Wal.

Great spot and nice and warm

Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

Yana has been amazing, our team stayed for two weeks at her lovely accommodation, she was very easy going and pleasant to deal with, we will be back in the area soon and are hoping we can stay again. The team were very pleased with the accommodation too, the spa bath was a lovely addition after a hard day's work, they also enjoyed watching the stars and listening to the birds - it was a perfect escape from the busy day on the road. We highly recommend Yana's hideaway to anyone!

Easy to work with the landlady as we were a very late notice booking, and very accommodating for extension if required. Highly recommended.

This house is stunning! We had a family holiday here over Easter, to create memories together before some of us move overseas and it was just perfect. It had enough space that we could all relax without feeling on top of each other, amenities that made us so comfortable (shout out to the coffee machine!), beautifully comfortable beds and linen and set in such a peaceful spot. We couldnt recommend this stay more for those needing a bit of space, a touch of luxury and a home that’s well suited for all ages! Toddler friendly, teen friendly, grandparent friendly! 🩷

Great host and a great property, very quiet and relaxing right on the golf course. Access to the pool and gym was great following the event we took part in. Hoping to visit again next year.

Five of us spent two nights here and it was fantastic. Lovely home, lots of space for everyone to spread out, amazing location- we walked to the beach easily, and to the shops and restaurants in The Mount. Would 100% stay here again! Also, Sienna was extremely helpful and easy to reach. Loved everything about our stay.

Bob and Jess has a beautiful house with an amazing view that you can wake up too. House was so cozy and warm and then as hosts were so helpful whenever I needed to ask them something. The house was clean and had even extra things that we forgot to bring so that was super amazing. 10/10 recommend this place. Will definitely come back again

Helen is responsive helpful and very friendly. She has thought of everything to make your stay like it was at home - everything from a can opener, a magazine, a GREAT sized fridge and freezer (which is often way to small when you stay at a BnB), even squeezed in a washing machine. I loved the location, it is quiet and safe, but for me best of all, I could take my dog. The yard is secured with a gate and has a lovely lawn with plenty of parking. The only thing for me, was that I slept on the Pull-Out couch, which is tired and uncomfortable, which I have mentioned to Helen. Definitely a place we would return. Its great. :-)

Nice place to stay. The place is close to shopping center and local beach. We had a nice stay at Jane's place. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay! Wonderful location, incredibly clean and tidy and had everything we could have ever needed. The outdoor space was perfect for kids and adults alike. Plenty of room for everyone. Kathryn was incredibly responsive and helpful. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Beautiful home. Stunning location. Ian's home was clean, spacious, clutter free, and so comfortable to live in for a few days. Whiritoa is very small -the main highlights for us were the beach (5 mins walk), hikes, and local general store (10 mins walk). The beach was only safe to swim at on the weekends when the life guards were on duty (due to the big waves), but there is a lagoon at the north end of the beach that is calm and beautiful -tree swings, rock pools, etc. The house was easy to find, had ample and very comfortable seating for our family of 5 both indoors and out. The design and decor are thoughtful. Best espresso machine we've come across in an Airbnb! Beds were very comfortable. Windows and sliding glass doors on all sides to let the light and breeze in. Water pressure was amazing. Thank you to Ian for his very responsive communication and for accommodating a late check out! Highly recommend.

Very nice clean property. It had everything in the kitchen so that we could cook and have snacks. Wonderful entertaining spaces. Comfortable beds and linens. Nice quality furniture and finishes. Location is super!

Ryan’s house was exactly what we’d hoped for on our last 4 nights in NZ. The view looking out over the ocean absolutely made our stay! We had everything we needed to do as much as or as little as we liked. The location is very close to the shops by car and definitely walkable (though hilly). We walked to the Cathedral Cove track which we would highly recommend and were fortunate it had re-opened recently. Make sure you do the extra lookout viewpoint loop, the views are incredible. Ryan was responsive, friendly and helpful when communicating. We would recommend Ryan’s home and would definitely stay again if we came back!

This is amazing place with panoramic view as described was there in a full moon day. Which gives fantastic reflection on the water.🚢🚢

A stunning whare to stay for a retreat away from the business of life. Loved waking up to the tūī singing in the surrounding bush. Good privacy, peaceful environment, beautiful decor, and very close to the beach and local bush walks. We left feeling very refreshed and rested. This was a lovely location for our Anzac weekend with good friends. A great set up for the 4 of us. We all absolutely loved the view from the deck. Beds are super comfy and a very clean and tidy home. We managed the driveway just fine. We hope to visit again. Thank you Paul, you have an amazing property in a stunning location.

The place was absolutely stunning - the views were beautiful and we enjoyed our stay even during a rainy weekend. The house was very comfortable with a lot of amenities including lot of toys and books for kids and adults. Very convenient to travel from Auckland.

What an amazing house in an incredible location. The views were beautiful . The beach a quick walk - so easy swimming and beachcombing. Great location and close to the New Chums Beach and Cathedral Cove. The house was clean and well furnished and equipped. Wish we has been able to stay longer.
