Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Ometepe

We stayed here for several nights and felt very comfortable. The property is very quiet and only separated from the lake by a small sandy slope. There are sometimes mopeds from locals passing by. The kitchen is well equipped, the terrace is very cozy with rocking chairs and hammock. We found it much nicer than in the photos and would come back anytime.

Such a great stay! I was at Missy's place for 10 days and can't say enough. Super simple, super cute place. Beautiful back garden area with hammocks and a breeze and a covered area for some shade. Kitchen was well-equipped. In a great location close to yummy comidors and restaurants and El Pital (chocolate tour), Finca Magdelana is an easy walk as well as nearby bars, and places to do yoga and dance. Fruit stands and a place to rent bikes just down the street. I did not want to go! Thanks Missy :)

Everything is fine. There is a restaurant where you can find food and alcohol. You can also ask about moped rental. Cons: no kitchen

this is a cozy and comfortable place to relax, and also work online. La Virgen is a cute little town with a couple of excellent pulperias where you can easily walk to get your staples. it is centrally located between Rivas (a 15 minute bus ride) and the beaches of San Juan del Sur (a 25 minute bus ride), where shopping is abundant, accessable from various bus stops just steps from the house. The house is relatively small, but of a modern build, a comfy bed and equipped kitchen, with stunning views of Lake Colcibolca and Omotepe island, with the twin volcanoes from the large terrace. there are access points to Playa La Virgen, with a couple of nice restaurants walking distance from the house. The rental rate is also a very fair price. I would most definitely stay here again. Finally, Margarita was very helpful, and always answered my messages super fast, and the caretaker Marvin is a very nice man, and he was always ready to help when needed. This was a perfect stay

Honestly, one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I have ever stayed. We watched a horse and her baby walk the beach in front of us, picked mangos off the ground, and jumped into the lake all day. All around wonderful experience. Thank you David, Rebecca, and Team! We will be back.

A wonderful place to escape! Perfectly located by the lake yet easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is very spacious for the price with everything you might need included, well equipped kitchen and plenty of outdoor seating including a hammock to enjoy the view. Yariela was always available to respond to messages straight away and happy to help, her family and neighbours were incredibly welcoming and friendly. This would definitely be my first choice when I return to Ometepe!

Amazing experience in Playa Maderas! The place is very nice, surrounded by nature and with a spectacular view. The cabin was spotless, very nice and comfortable, perfect for rest. The pool is excellent and you can enjoy it very much, especially at sunset. The host was very friendly and always attentive to everything we needed. The overall attention was first-rate. Definitely a place I'd love to go back to.

Stella Mar is a great value. We stayed in the upstairs apartment. It was spacious and very convenient. The location is also excellent close to restaurants and it’s right on the beach. We would stay here again.

This place is right on the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen in my life. It was perfect for a weekend with family and friends to enjoy a relaxing weekend. The condo is perfect to get away from the noise and chaos of city life.

Corrin and Jacq were exceptional hosts. Always present and super attentive. The house, in turn, is perfect: excellent location, equipped with everything you need (and a little more) and extremely comfortable and pleasant. It was an amazing experience, which I recommend to everyone (especially those who surf, in view of the two “world class” waves located inside the condominium).

I had a great week staying at Dunia’s place. It was incredibly relaxing and right by the beach. I was working the whole week and wifi was great - no issues with video calls. If I’m ever back in Maderas, I’ll be sure to stay at Dunia’s again.

Maria’s place was amazing, the view of San Juan del Sur bay was absolutely beautiful! She was incredibly communicative and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and well-informed. We especially appreciated her guidance on electricity use, which helped us stay within the daily budget, very helpful given how energy costs work locally. Her recommendations for places to visit were spot on, and she was always ready to help. Thank you, Maria, for being such a thoughtful and welcoming host!

Paul’s place was so lovely & spacious for us, we absolutely loved the open kitchen/lounge and balcony views. Everything very clean! Beds were SO comfortable, we had great nights sleeping there. The pool was also lovely & we were the only ones using it. It’s about 10-15 mins walk to town and easy to get cheap taxi’s back. Theres a small shop nearby for essentials. The only tiny downside was the WiFi was quite intermittent at times with all 4 of us using it, but this is to be expected in Nicaragua & we weren’t that bothered! Lovely stay and would love to stay again in the future!

Great location on Rancho. Very spacious. Clean. Kitchen moderately stocked- cooked breakfast there every morning looking at the waves! Loved being near the pool but still being able to see the water. Balcony was great. Would 100% come back!

This place is very cozy, comfortable and has an awesome balance of being modern, yet simplistic.

Uri was a huge help, great manager. Always got us what we needed then and there. Juan Pablo was great as well, always answered any questions immediately and made our stay super easy. Nice kitchen and everything you need for a long term stay. Walking distance to the beach, both grocery stores and Dog Town. Already planning our next trip back!

The place was in perfect condition, very comfortable, just steps from the beach, the owners are very friendly and answer any questions very quickly. To consider in the future, in the complex there is 1 single pool for the 3 apartments, the owners live right there, and although a car can enter down the street, it is better to arrive by car alto. Otherwise, the stay was very pleasant.
