House holiday rentals in Oman

We were family of 4, by mistake I booked 1 day before what I need, Laith he shifted my booking to next day, showing the truth Arab Omani hospitality. My family fall in love with the small details, if I start list won’t finish. If you plan to visit the different village around nizwa then location is perfect, if wonna escape for a retreat it’s the place for peaceful mind. The outside kitchen well equipped for cooking and grilling over looking The swimming pool next the shower and a swing for the kids. Next we shall stay longer. I can only say thanks to Laith not only not for his hospitality but for creating such a beautiful place and make available for others to stay at.

It was the well deserved break my family and self were looking for The rooms were very spaciouss. Furniture good quality and the villa overall was amazing we really really enjoyed the stay a lot. If your looking to be in Sifa and excluded from the Sifa crowed than this is the right place .very well kept property will surely be back again

Beautiful property with amazing view and great facilities specially the barbeque and outdoor area the kitchen was full of utensils and all the necessary things

Hôte très accueillant et toujours à l'écoute pour vous conseiller et faciliter le séjour. la maison est propre, la piscine sans vis-à-vis. Rumays est à une trentaine de minutes de Mascate, parfait pour être à l'écart de la ville sans être trop loin.

La maison et l’extérieur sont très beaux et permettent un séjour confortable. Compter une quinzaine de minutes de nizwa centre mais proche des centres commerciaux Je reviendrai!

If you want a private and beautiful location which is away from everything, this is the place. The villa is clean and everything works. You are living amongst the locals and everyone is welcoming. Do not think this is a place where you can dress in bikinis and have loud music playing all day long. Respect the locals. What makes this place even more special is the host who is better that a butler and resolves all your problems instantly. Nice local restaurants and a mini market to buy small snacks. Just to point out there is no front or rear garden at the property. You are within walls, which is a good thing as it is a hot country. The pool is within the building so easy access all day long for kids. If you have kids or stupid adults with you be careful you don't brake anything in the villa as you will be paying for it. Basically respect other people's stuff.

I have been on Airbnb for over 7 years, and this was easily one of the top Airbnb experiences I have had to date. I agree with one of the other reviews that this place is more of an “experience” than simply a place to stay. Clearly lovingly built in the traditional Omani style but with modern touches that make it an extremely comfortable and functional place to stay - the photos simply don’t do the charm of the place justice. I didn’t meet Sulfa in person but the Omani hospitality was on full display between the dates and local coffee left for me on arrival, some breakfast bits in the fridge and regular advice shared through text. Situated in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood, with mountains surrounding, it’s the perfect spot for an escape from the typical hotel / resort circuit. A little bit out of the way for those who don’t have a car (like myself) but I managed easily enough either by taxi or walking to the nearest bus stop, which is 10 mins away. Super spot and fully recommended.

It’s a gorgeous place, went there during eid holidays. The house the vibe the neighbourhood everything is amazing. The host particularly was very sweet and very proactive. Would give this place a 10:/10

Great place, better than pictures, felt like at home, the house is really beautiful! One only downside were the cars coming and going on the beach at night outside the house and people having barbeques next to the cars leaving a lot of rubbish! we have been during Eid celebrations so the number of car was probably higher than normal!

perfect host, perfect home away from home, perfect communications, neat and clean home which is very nicely designed and decorated. Honestly I didnt find any flaw in the place. in short !!!! Impressed......!

Sami was a wonderful host! It was more having a best friend in Oman than a simple accommodation. Actually Sami proposed us to sleep on a beautiful beach and gave us everything we needed. Since there was a lot of mosquitoes, we ended up in a hotel and Sami picked us up the following morning He drove us everywhere and really showed us the "omani life", we met his family, went to local markets, had all our dinner and lunches together. He also helps us find a car to drive to another city. He was SUPER helpful and I highly recommend him if you are looking for a "guide/friend" in Oman, and not an accommodation. All is all, super happy :) Sami était extraordinaire! C'etait plus comme avoir un ami a Oman que simplement un service d'hébergement. En fait, Sami nous a propose de dormir sur une plage (Oman est tres tres sur donc pas de problème de sécurité) en nous donnant tout ce dont nous avons besoin. Avec les moustique nous avons finalement du prendre un petit hotel. Sami nous a récupéré le lendemain matin et nous a montre une vrai vie omanaise. Nous avons rencontre sa famille, mange dans des restaurant traditionels, vu des marches locaux, etc. Sami nous a aussi aide a trouvé une voiture pour les prochains jours, nous a prêté un telephone portable, etc. Je recommande Sami, si vous recherche un "meilleur ami a Oman" pour découvrir la vie omanaise et pas si vous recherchez juste un service de logement. Très belle experience!

Ons verblijf bij Badar was onvergetelijk. De villa was nóg mooier dan op de foto’s: adembenemend, ruim, prachtig ingericht en ongekend luxe met volledige privacy. Ik heb veel gereisd en villa’s geboekt, maar dit was veruit de mooiste ervaring ooit. Badar’s service was buitengewoon. Omdat we vroeg aankwamen met kinderen, had hij de koelkast gevuld met boodschappen. De villa voelde als een privé mini-resort: een discrete medewerker verbleef in een apart bijgebouw en hielp ons waar nodig, zelfs met het draaien van de was. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Dit smaakt naar meer – wij komen gegarandeerd terug! Badar is het perfecte voorbeeld van gastvrijheid en ik kan deze villa en zijn service iedereen van harte aanbevelen.

There were sodas and bottled water prepared for us. Also Omani sweets and cookies. There is a beautiful terrace- the whole flat roof all for you! All the sea promenade in front of you and the harbor. All in walking distance- a fantastic walk passing the sea front all the way.

Abdul's place was very spacious and clean. we were a big group and there were many rooms and beds to accomadate all of us. He was also very kind to let us check-in early as our bus arrived early morning. he even allowed us to leave our luggage in the lounge until our flight. overall a very pleasant experience and the house is perfect for big groups.

Nice place for a family, each bedroom has a bathroom so no waiting time at all. Owner is very kind and was flexible with check in and checkout timings. Located in salalah city, so equal distance to east and west tourist spots.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Eva Chalet. It was private and peaceful and such a stylish and clean place. About 18mins from Nizwa and has beautiful surroundings. It was great for our family - the kids enjoyed the outside space and ample room for us all (we have 4 kids). We would happily stay again and our host was super helpful.

The place is great and as described in the listing and its details. The host is quick to respond making things easier. Wonderful place to stay in a residential compound. A quite and peaceful place to relax. One thing to consider if planning to travel around is that a vehicle will be needed. The place is a bit inward, but has delivery services (Talabat) for groceries.
