House holiday rentals in Olympic Valley

The house was very nice and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It would be a great place to stay during ski season, unfortunately the mountain closed the day we arrived. You could walk to a very nice rec center as well. It was nice to have all the streaming services on the TV. The kitchen was very well stocked which is important to us since we love to cook. Lori was very responsive to any questions.

We loved our stay at Mark and Chelsea’s. The cabin exceeded all expectations. The home had everything we needed including very comfortable beds, outdoor games, well stocked kitchen and fire pit we used each night for smores. We didn’t use the jacuzzi but it was clean and serviced while we were there. Our 2 year old begged to not leave and we didn’t want to either. Thank you for hosting our very special family vacay.

Jamie’s home was perfect for our family’s stay at Northstar. Roomy, comfortable, and ideally located. We’ll look forward to staying here again!

This was a beautiful home. It more than comfortably fit my group of six. It was clean, spacious, easy to find, close to fun things, and very comfortable. Staying here was a blast and we’d definitely stay here again!

It’s a lovely house with an N64 and a pool table, I would recommend booking directly on the website personally.

Our family of 4 has a great peaceful stay at Suzanne's home. We like staying in Tahoe Donner when possible and Suzanne's home was the a great option. She was accomodating to our request before arrival and communicated quickly with questions during our stay. The kids loved discovering the kids rocking chair, sleds, baby books and DVDs! We wished we could have stayed longer. thank you for the hospitality

This was the perfect place for my family's ski vacation. It's very close to the resorts, a very short drive to the main street of Truckee, and very short walking distance to a little shopping plaza with all the basics- grocery, drugstore, ski shop, a few restaurants, etc. The condo complex is nice and peaceful, people are friendly, and the amenities are good too. The apartment itself was excellent. Clean, uncluttered, but had all the basic supplies and stuff that you need but wouldn't bring with you on vacation. Andrew was a friendly and communicative host. It was all in all a very good experience!

I stayed at this lovely home when I was in Truckee for a wedding and it was perfect for my stay. The home was clean and cozy with clear instructions for everything. It is well stocked with plenty of kitchenware, towels, extra blankets, and more. The layout and location were ideal and in a nice quiet neighborhood. There is a big driveway and a garage you can park in. Sean was easy to communicate with and responsive. I didn't need to reach out to him, but it was nice to know he would be available. I would easily stay here again the next time I am up in the Truckee area.

Beautiful location in the mountains inland from West Shore/Sunnyside. Large, lovely multi-level home with 4-5 bedrooms and every amenity you need including kitchen, fireplace, hot tub, bbq grill, etc. Biggest advantage is proximity - 3 minute walk - to Sherwood lift. Biggest disadvantage is the drive back to Sunnyside is ~8 minutes to get back to civilization. Biggest surprise was the amazing sunrise over the peakaboo view of Lake Tahoe. 5/5 stars and if you like Alpine Meadows and have all your gear sorted, 6/5 stars.

This place is absolutely perfect for a couple’s getaway. Walking distance to a beautiful creek and a few great food spots, and a reasonable drive from Emerald Bay, Incline Village, and the quaint town of Truckee. The house is cozy, clean, and feels so peaceful and private. When we come back to Tahoe in the future we will stay at this exact place. It checks every box! Amanda is a kind and proactive host and provides many recommendations in her curated guidebook. 10/10 !!!

We had a great & very fun stay, and Laurel was very responsive. We were there to ski, and the Mountaineer shuttle service was really great! The deck and hot tub offered great views...and the house was very close to Palisades! As another renter commented...of the three bedrooms downstairs, you do need to go thru one bedroom to get to the other...this should perhaps be made more clear in the listing comments. If/when back at Palisades, we'll certainly consider this listing again!

The place and location were perfect! The place was pristine. We had everything plus in amenities and items needed for a very pleasant stay. The place was within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. If we ever visit Lake Tahoe again we will definitely stay here.

Tinas place was fantastic! Our group enjoyed the proximity to the mountain and layout of the home to fit our size and needs. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the Olympic valley area!

This was a 8 day family vacation with my husband and I, our son and his wife along with her parents visiting from Norway. We had more than enough room along with 3 bathrooms so everyone had plenty of privacy. We cooked all of our meals in the large and fully equipped kitchen. There is a BBQ along with a beautiful hot tub for relaxing after a day of downhill skiing at nearby North Star or Palisades. The way the house is built you literally feel like you are in the trees when you look out over the floor to ceiling windows in the back of the house. Also, there is patio furniture with a fire pit off of the eating area that we also enjoyed. There are board games, two TV areas along with 3 workstations with large computers. There is also a yoga area in the downstairs area. This is a beautiful home located in a safe and walkable area. Lori is responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a place that has everything !!!!

Jenn’s place was a perfect home base for our weekend of snowboarding! The house is modern, clean, and equipped with great amenities. I would highly recommend Jenn’s place!

Amazing lakefront property and best place we’ve stayed in Tahoe yet! Incredible views from the main living space. Ryan, the host was extremely accommodating and responsive our entire stay. The use of paddle boards and the dock was a hit with our kids. We paddled to Garwoods, a must on every visit for our family. We had everything we needed from beach towels to kitchen utensils & the bbq. We are very appreciative to Ryan & his family for sharing their lake house with us to make our own memories and we hope to return in the future!

Beautiful views of the lake, a great place to hang out with family

We are a three generation family of nine who love to ski. We were new to Lake Tahoe. This was a wonderful home for our group - each bedroom had a private bathroom as well as a fireplace and TV. The kitchen and living areas were spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved (and used often!) the sauna and hot tub and enjoyed the pool table and game room. Great place that we would be happy to book again.

This home is perfection. Super clean, lots of natural light, nice Kitchen to prepare meals, and no fuss check-in/out. A colleague and I stayed here for work and it the bedrooms/baths were nicely divided between the floors allowing privacy for both of us. We will definitely stay here again on future trips.

My husband and I were fortunate to stay at Matts’s gorgeous home. I absolutely loved the way the home was designed and appointed. Beds were very comfortable and everything in the home was high quality. Such a fun weekend and I had to force myself to leave because I was perfectly content just being there. Enjoyed a beautiful walking trail right near the property. Thank you, Matt!! Definitely a top stay for us!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful high-end cabin in Truckee. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for cooking meals after a day of adventure. We especially loved the cozy fireplace, hot tub under the stars, and the peaceful surroundings that made it feel like a true escape. Just a short drive to skiing, downtown Truckee, and Lake Tahoe, the location was unbeatable. This cabin is a gem. What truly set this stay apart was the host. Korri was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It felt like staying at a five-star retreat with the personal touch of a caring host. Thank you Korri! The location was ideal—secluded enough to feel peaceful, but just minutes from downtown Truckee, ski resorts, and outdoor adventures. Next visit booked already

Our family of five has stayed at the Dancing Bear 4-5 times now because we love the house, neighborhood and location so much. It’s becoming our home away from home and everyone feels so comfortable. We’ll definitely be back.
