If you're staying over a weekend and into music, ask about a "best kept secret" concert house :) Also recommend you visit the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, DT St. Pete and Sarasota.

You get the entire home and there is nobody else staying at the same time. It is in a quiet suburban neighborhood, about 40 minutes from downtown Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg.

Clearwater Beach is a straight drive ahead (about 4 miles). This is a large 1 bedroom apartment that is perfect for two, but can also sleep four with the sleeper-sofa. There is a full sized kitchen, full size appliances, and a screened in patio in the back where smoking is allowed

Plenty of restaurants nearby and grocery stores. Only 8 min drive to beach. 15 min from downtown St. Pete. Enjoy pool and hot tub overlooking the intercoastal or stay indoors and enjoy puzzles and games.
