The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. The Castle

In the midst of north Florida where several fresh water springs abound. It has a queen bed for 2. Plus, we have an adult cot with mattress and also a child's cot available. Small town with quaint cafe, a small grocery store in Old town and Chiefland is just a little farther with restaurants and a Walmart. Feel free to roam the property or borrow a bike to ride on the trail right across the street. Animals are in pens on site and they’ll cluck and oink at ya. Come and relax.

With its own private concrete boat ramp, dock, kayaks and yakport. Everything you need for a fun, relaxing or romantic waterfront getaway.

Design this space thinking about the comfort of enjoying nature. Enjoy tranquility, rest and peace. It is a cabin with an excellent location, for a stay or a getaway to the Springs. A dream range, with a back door that takes you to a space where you can watch a night full of stars. My favorite part of this space is the soaking tub designed for taking a relaxing bath with doors closed or doors open so you can have visual contact with the outside.

Rustic Farmhouse

Rustic farmhouse on an active working farm. Come commune with the cows and goats. Meet our free range miniature donkey. Visit with the pigs and rabbits. Enjoy fishing in our stocked pond along side the ducks and geese. Take a walk down our Chicken Trail and view all the many different chickens, turkeys, pheasants, quail, and peafowl. We are close to the Suwannee River and several local springs.
