Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Okoboji

It was our first time visiting the Okoboji area. We loved our stay. We had 3 families in our group. The kids loved having the basement all to themselves. It was so nice having the dock to pull the boat up to each day, and for the kids to fish off of as well. The hosts were very friendly & offered many suggestions for places to visit/eat. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary equipment needed for cooking, although we spent most of our day on the water and ate at various places in the area. Fun to boat right up to eat your meals from the water. That was an experience the kids loved! We were nervous with the recent floods that the water conditions wouldn't allow for boating/swimming activities. We did find it nice that given the 5mph limit on the water the kids could swim safely from the dock as well as out in the water with minimal waves. It was like we had the lake to ourselves! The visit during the week probably helped with that too?!? Definitely recommend!

Jana was a great host - very responsive and helpful. The house felt very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The beach is not really walkable from the house (at least not with all the lake gear), but Jana generously allowed us to use her golf cart - which was so great! We would definitely stay here again with our family.

Very very clean and hosts super responsive. I had 3 elderly women all 87 yo and older so few steps for them ..3 bedrooms on main floor which was perfect. Nice supply of coffee for the ladies. Close to things...Walmart restaurants, grocery stores (and the ER which we had to utilize) all within 1 to 2 miles.I had couple of suggestions and hosts very receptive!

The location and number of beds worked out perfectly for our family and a quick trip to Okoboji. The hosts were responsive.

Was a great getaway! We had so much fun and the Airbnb was exactly what we wanted.

We had a great stay. The property owner was very welcoming. We had a short stay ~ only 1 night, which is all we needed. The Master suite is upstairs and the other 3 bedrooms are in the basement with a full kitchen & living area. If you need a home to spread out in, this BNB can accommodate large groups easily. The back yard is spacious as well and there was plenty of room for out dog to run around. This BNB is located in a more commercial part of town but offered plenty of security and was very peaceful. Bathrooms were luxurious and everything was clean and well organized. Beautiful kitchen with everything you need. Laundry on the main floor and half bath of the kitchen. Looking forward to our next stay!

The house was clean and had plentiful space for our family during Easter week and well supplied with essentials. Okoboji is a resort area and the season hadn't quite started yet, but the lake is nearby and walking trails are great for walking a dog. There are bike trails nearby too. Back to house - it has two living rooms up and downstairs, large kitchen area. But for me, personally, was the lanai which we used for Easter brunch and enjoyed sitting out there listening to music with a glass of wine. Wonderful place, and in-season, it would be even better.

This was a 5 star experience! Everything was just as described! If I had a question he was very quick to answer! The garage kept our kids busy and got the whole family to spend good quality time together with the games!! The cabin was very clean! overall no complaints and an amazing experience!

Marty's, place is very convenient to multiple restaurants as well activities, the location is prime. Marty's place is very clean and accommodating to family's as well groups even couples. Marty was very responsive from the moment we were looking till the time we left. Do not over look Marty's place it is worth it.

Natasha was a great host! Her home was clean, comfortable, and it was clear she thought of even small details to make our stay great! Wonderful location! Awesome deck to grill steaks! Floor plan of house was perfect for our group! You won’t be disappointed! We even had passes to the water park included!

We had a great time in this condo. It was a great space for a small extended family getaway with 5 adults and 2 kids. I wish we had more time to enjoy some of the other things in the Okoboji area!

Great location and plenty of room for our family.

Owners were very friendly and responsive, and proactive regarding their hot tub being in the shop for repairs during our stay. House is well furnished and very comfortable. Beautiful setting on a pond and a nice gas fire pit to relax with on the patio. Neighborhood is very quaint and was very quiet prior to Memorial Day weekend. This is a very popular family vacation area with many restaurants and family activities to enjoy.

Great place in a convenient location. It’s off the lake, but walkable to most of Arnold’s Park which is nice.

lovely stay as always. feels like being back at summer camp as a kid. we thoroughly enjoy our stay every year. side note, keep an eye on the disc golf tournaments and where you park. the golfers will continually ask you to move your vehicle.

Had a great stay! The place was very clean and well-maintained. The host was proactive, responsive, and ensured everything was smooth throughout our visit. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Loved every minute of our stay! Such a clean and modern townhome with sooo much space! We loved that It’s super close to all the action at Arnold’s park. It rained one of the nights while we were there, but we were totally content staying in because of the amount of space we had to gather was perfect. Would highly recommend!

The staff saved our lives. Our camper had a major malfunction and without their help on a holiday we would not have made it out easily. Everyone was so friendly and the grounds are super beautiful! Cannot wait to go back. If you are tent camping and expect to sleep in they did start ground maintenance very early with mowers and such so that is the only downside.

Can't say enough good things about my stay. Staff was on the spot as soon as I arrived to greet me and relay written procedures. It's a truly rustic experience, exactly what I wanted. I felt completely free to conduct my days as I saw fit. It was pre-season for them so they were busy getting things set up for summer. We stayed out of each other's way unless communications were needed, in which case they were almost instantaneous in response. Autumn the intern was especially great. Personal note: It was just me and my two cats in a space built for a dozen. I rearranged and provided my own "kitchen" while my cats went bazonkers over the exposed walkable rafters and high windows. Listening to the wildlife, including deer and wild turkeys every morning, birdsong aplenty, a quick walk to the shore for wave sounds and best of all, an easy launch for my fishing kayak. I did most of my fishing at night, as these are recreational lakes open for all use. That suited me just fine. I'll be back!

We look forward to staying here again next summer! It’s such a great location and a perfect spot for camping!
