Family-friendly holiday rentals in Oita

I was very impressed by the polite response. I stayed with 5 people, and there were 4 beds, but there was another single bed that jumped out, and there were 5 of them, so there was no problem at all. Thank you very much.

I booked it with confidence because the Korean owner said it was operated. I rested so comfortably for 3 nights. He asked me how I was doing every morning and asked if there were any inconveniences. I was touched by the thoughtful consideration. They also prepared an electric mat, so I stayed warmly. I also prepared a separate bath basket, so I was able to go to Haemunsa Hot Springs every evening within a 3-minute walk! It was also really convenient to be able to park right in front of the accommodation!! You kept it really clean. Your mother loved it! It was right in front of Baebu Tower, so the night view was also really nice. I'll visit again next time.! I've been to Japan many times, but when I had a problem, they answered me right away, so I traveled without worry. I've never traveled so comfortably before. It's really the best accommodation ^ ^♡

5 of us stayed in June.The house was beautiful, clean and very comfortable.I felt that it was especially important that the three bedrooms were separate and that we could sleep well without interfering with each other.The next day, at another inn, the bedroom was close and there was no partition, so it was noisy and the lights were dazzling, so it was difficult. The open-air bath was not that big, but my grandson was delighted and went in many times. The location was quiet, but it was nice to be able to walk to the main street.This can be said for the whole of Yufuin, but the roads are very narrow, so it was a little difficult to get out of the parking lot with a large car. The host was also very polite and kind, and I had no problems at all, and it was comfortable.It was a house that made me want to come back.

The foreigner at the receptionist was friendly and my 1-year-old son asked for a high touch (^ ^) It was a good trip.I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

It was in the main location, so it was very nice to get around. Parking was also convenient, so it was really nice.

Wow! Where to start? The hospitality at this place is unrivaled! Amane and Takashi were more than our hosts, they became our friends and showed us a piece of Japan I think few people get when visiting. It rained the whole time we were there and we still has countless things to do! I have limited space for this review, but the biggest thing that stood out for this Airbnb were the hosts. Our rental car failed and we know very little japanese, but our hosts went above and beyond to help us through this tough situation. In addition they gave us many recommendations for restaurants and places to visit and each one was outstanding! Lastly, the location is breathtaking! We do wish we had better weather, but hearing the ocean waves, rain on the trees, and whinnying of the ponies and the view of Beppu across the cove made this an experience we will never forget. Do yourself a favor and book this place if you are staying on the area, including Beppu...you won't regret it!

I stayed here with 10 friends (11 total people) for two nights and we absolutely loved it. We all loved the private onsen, the views, and the patio. The host was so kind and provided local meat for us to grill outside, which we very happily enjoyed. The house was beautiful, quiet, and the room for parking was also convenient. Highly recommend for large groups!

A lovely place about 20 minutes drive from Saiki. Highlights were: incredible sashimi (saiki is known for its fish); local onsens (one of them over looking the sea with salt water); hiking in the surroundings and on the nearby island. I would recommend coming with a car as the bus service is fairly infrequent. However the family very kindly took time to drive us around to the places we wanted to visit. Highly recommend!

The hospitality and food were off the charts! The food was unexpectedly incredible and the best meals we experienced on our three week trip. OKUMA and his wife were perfect hosts. It felt like a homestay. The accommodation is traditional and simple and the somewhat remote location is a perfect respite from the hectic cities. We walked up into the hills and around the island and travelled to Saiki and Oita.

Such a kind and thoughtful host! Shared local recommendations and help. Very peaceful and quiet. Rural - need to get any food or items in town before driving up. I visited Mt Futago and the beach before driving to Beppu about an hour away. Wouldn’t recommend for tall people as the bedroom upstairs has a low ceiling.

What a find this was! Fusako was an excellent host. Communication was easy (Fusako is fluent in English). We hired a car from Hakata and drove here easily using the address in the car sat nav. The accommodation was very comfortable in an old farm building. We booked the meal option which was an excellent decision! Seeing a previous review, we asked if it was possible to have the vegetarian meal plan - no problem. The food was absolutely delicious and used local produce e.g shitake mushrooms. It was a highlight of our trip. We did some hiking close by - plenty of walking within a few minutes. We will be back! Fusako even helped me order some flowers online to deliver to my Japanese friend we had just visited. Thank you Fusako-san!

It was a conscientious price.It is an old-fashioned house, but I was able to relax with a beautiful interior and clean bedding. Thank you for being very kind to the management.

It was wonderful staying here! The apartment is spacious and positioned super well, very easily accessible by public transit both buses to and from the airport as well as trains. There is a laundry very close as well. The host is wonderful! They were very responsive and helpful, and even assisted us with a small issue we had after moving out. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. I highly recommend staying here!

A pleasant pension in a nature-filled place a little up the mountain from Kurokawa Onsen! We visited with two families (8 people in total), but the room was spacious, and there was a bath indoors and outdoors, making it a very pleasant place to stay! Rentals are also possible if you book in advance.You can also enjoy the seasonal scenery, so I think you can be satisfied at any time!
