Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ohrdruf

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very cozy and offered us exactly the peace and quiet we were looking for. We particularly liked the idyllic location - it was incredibly peaceful and we were able to really unwind. Our children were thrilled, because right next door there was a beautiful stream where they could play for hours. That was really perfect for us as a family. A special thank you goes to the hosts Helge and Conny. They were incredibly nice and welcomed us very warmly. We can recommend this place to anyone looking for a break surrounded by nature.

We were two with our dog for a week in the accommodation of Beatrix and felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, beautifully furnished and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are directly on the property. This took a bit of nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her that the goats were not to be eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

We were 2 couples with 3 small children. The accommodation is well suited for this. There is a large room in addition to the booking, which we would recommend. Then you have a large dining room in addition. Only the stairs are dangerously steep, especially for the small children, but also for adults. With a large garden and the possibility of barbecuing. Otherwise everything was great, we felt very comfortable. :-)

Very suitable for family reunions, men's romatics with bonfires and barbecues, etc. Very nice location, lots of space in the house, great kitchen oven, rustic but great furnishings, wonderful view of the valley, with house cat for the children, lots of space for children to play. Wonderful tranquility also for sleeping ...

Beautiful weekend home from the first minute. Communication with Rebecca and Philipp was straightforward and cordial. The house was perfect for 9 adults: many cozy corners for playing, chatting, reading or even working. Great amenities! The surroundings are an inexhaustible hiking paradise. You definitely need a car to get there and to go on excursions. We will be happy to come back!

A beautiful place to relax & discover. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of attention to detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

Our stay at Chalet Birkenzauber was magical 🫶 The entire accommodation for us was super cozy, well equipped (unlimited 5G Wi-Fi, 4kSmartTv, coffee maker with all kinds of pad hangers etc...) and offers a magnificent view and because we were there over New Year's Eve we had a fantastic fireworks spectacle! The area had many highlights to offer. The museums, picturesque hiking trails and the snow park towards Oberhof with its versatile winter activities such as skiing, biathlon shooting and a fantastic view. Everything necessary like supermarkets with bakery was right nearby We didn't miss anything. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for recreation and or experiences. Thank you Mandy again for this wonderful break we were able to experience and the little touches that made it even more special! ❤️

The stay was really nice. The property is immersed in nature and has a lot to offer. Our highlights were the heated outdoor hot tub and the lower fireplace. When the weather is nice, you can hike wonderfully in the immediate vicinity, in bad weather the accommodation offers plenty of distraction. Highlighted is the protection of the property and the accommodation. I haven't felt so safe in any place so far. In addition, Manuela was very quick to respond to my messages and always a solution ready. Thanks for that!

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

The apartment is complete and has an atmospheric interior. It is located in the city centre of Gotha, but is very quiet and private. Within 2 minutes walking we were at the market where the Christmas market was. There were also several restaurants within walking distance. Gerrit was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed it very much, easy check-in, good price-performance ratio. The location is a dream, you immediately feel at home. Slept very well. We will be happy to come back, highly recommended

Anna's apartment is very nice. Everything you need. Very centrally located, so you can walk to everything. Anna gave us a friendly welcome and the recommendations were great. If I come back to Erfurt, I'd love to stay with Anna again.

I had an amazing stay at Thomas's Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It’s in a perfect location—quiet yet close to attractions. Thomas provided great local tips and the kitchen was fully stocked with essentials. The bed was super comfortable, and the welcome basket was lovely. Communication was smooth and Thomas was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this Airbnb and would love to return!

Had a wonderful time in Erich's nice, spacious and bright apartment! It has all the comforts and Erich and Christine are friendly, got us delicious sandwiches and use us and our kids with all kinds of goodies! Nice towns in the area and you can enjoy skiing and tobogganing at Wasserkuppe.

Was really a nice deal! For the price, the place was good enough. We got the fireplace nearby which we enjoyed. Play options for kids and adults. Other guests were very friendly and my son found a friend as well 😊 Overall it’s a great experience for our family!

We stayed for a week in Michaels house in Schnepfenthal. The house is all you need for a stay with 2 kids. Spacious, full furnished kitchen, big sunny garden, a bath and a big TV with Netflix :) Loads of interesting spots for us geographers in the Geopark where Schnepfenthal is located. Nearby Gotha and Erfurt. Located in a quiet village on walking distance to a great restaurant Zur Tanne and Waltershausen town where supermarkets etc are located. A place to come back to!

Very nice cottage, pure idyll. If you are looking for pure nature and peace, you are in good hands there. Directly around you can make beautiful tours in the Thuringian forest. We would have preferred to move in. Small and fine! Thank you!

Our team (including 2 dogs) was in the apartment for a week due to work. They were completely satisfied and we will definitely book the place again when we are around again and need a place to stay!

Were passing through. A good place to stay if you want to explore the area. Even in the evening you could end the evening on the slope in front of the accommodation.

Very quiet and nice staff.

We were motorcyclists. There is enough space to park and for activities on the property. The outdoor shower and the campfire area were my highlight. In addition, the terrace on which there was sun and shade from morning to evening. Also very good in terms of traffic and yet very quiet. Hannes was very friendly and accommodating. This is not just a place to stay or overnight, this is the immersion in another world, hidden in a rather unexpected place. A completely authentic log cabin with such a host. I am very excited about both and would love to come back. I was there alone for a short stay in the cold dark season, which may not be optimal for this place. In any case, Andrea was very helpful and kind and gave me more of her time than I expected. It was an honor to get to know the house and residents. However, those who expect urban comfort with only a wildly trimmed facade could be a bit overwhelmed. Everything is very real here, everyone is aware of that beforehand. If you can get involved, you may leave something behind and take something for yourself. I was curious before, unsure if this may be a bit too daring for me; but was just right. Thank you!
