Holiday rentals with a kayak in Oconto County

Our family stayed here as an impromptu emergency need. We are very grateful to be given the opportunity and loved the location in the home. We’ll definitely come back if the opportunity presents itself.

We highly recommend this place. All went very smooth throughout the reservation, check-in and check-out process. The house is set-up to enjoy the easy access lake view. Lots of comfortable outdoor furniture, too. The kitchen is full stocked with all the pots, pan, etc. you could need…including a crockpot. Coffee pot tip…don’t pull more than 8 cups of water in the pot or 2 scoops (1/2 cup) grounds - or the water stops flowing through or you end up with a lot of grounds in the pot. We would be very happy to return here!

Zach and Andrea were great hosts. Replied very quickly to my messages and worked with me to revise reservation to add a night last minute. Excellent space for large group. Bedroom/bathroom arrangement is excellent. Crib was added plus. Clean and warm in November. Our Thanksgiving was a success with this rental!

We loved this house! The only problem, if you can even call it that, was that all the bathrooms are on the main floor; we thought one would be upstairs with the third bedroom. That made it interesting for the two who slept up there, since we are a group of older women with small bladders, lol. Overall we loved the house, and found it well stocked and well cared for. I want to come back with my husband - he would love the kayaks and proximity to the lake!

We had an absolute amazing time here. The house was perfect for a large group. Enough seating for everyone to gather and enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space. Our group enjoyed kayaking/ fishing on the lake, the game room, and the theater room. Tyler was very responsive and provided all the information need for operating everything in the house. In my cousin’s words” my mom and I are the biggest complainers and we had nothing to complain about.”

tha living space was great. plenty of beds. there were two levels that provided room for the adults and kids. deck and and surrounding deck were great for relaxing and group discussions.

The place is beautiful and right on the lake. It was clean and neat and I liked the lake-based decor. Having access to the shed with kayaks, bikes, and games was the best part!

This space was everything our family vacation needed! The "bunk room" being right off a room with a queen was perfection as we have 4 kids and it was private/quiet! The water being right there with a sand area perfect for littles, plus the spacious hangout rooms and all of the amenities made this place a must stay for big family groups with kids! Richard was responsive and kind, we would for sure stay again!

The lake house was absolutely beautiful. I loved the feeling of being able to walk outside with a cup of coffee in the morning, sit on the dock, fish, and be in the sunshine. I loved siting out by the fire, kayaking across the lake, and how much space there was for everyone. I loved how there was always something to do. The house was filled with everything you might need, and more. If you’re looking for a place to relax, spend time with friends family, and be surrounded by nature, then this is your place. I spent my 30th birthday weekend there and I will say it was such a great birthday! We will definitely be back 😊

We stayed here with a group of friends for a 30th birthday and had a great time! The house was very clean with everything we needed for the weekend. The backyard on the lake was beautiful with a lot for entertainment. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others!

We recently stayed here for a long couples weekend and it was perfect for what we were looking for. The house had enough room for everyone inside and out. It was nice and clean and really is fully stocked with supplies. If you forgot something chances are they'll have it at the house! Zarine and Brad are very nice and responsive. We had a wonderful weekend full of playing games, fishing, laughing and relaxing! We will definitely be back!

It was very relaxing. It would have been better if it didn’t rain and we had to leave a day early due to storm events back at our home. We will be coming back.

Perfect place for a quiet weekend retreat! Eden was super responsive and the place was great. Enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and lake. It was so nice to have everything needed for a fire as well.

Awesome place to stay. Very peaceful location and still close to atv trails and amenities in town. Place was clean and very well stocked with anything you’d need.

Me and my family enjoyed our time here. There were tons of stuff to do especially for the kids. Jason was super proactive which made communicating with him easy. This place definitely instilled beautiful memories with my family. Definitely worth checking out!

We loved this cabin on Chute Pond! It looked exactly like the photos. Bed was comfy. There is actually wifi: worked great for us! Only one bar of cell service but it still worked fine. Shower was nice and hot. Beautiful to look out on the lake. Would like to come back in the summer. Note: the coffee container was completely empty so maybe bring your own coffee grounds. They have coffee filters there.

Beautiful views from the living room ( by the nice wood fireplace) and the hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked and is a great place for cooking as a group. The dining room easily seated our group of 6 adults and a toddler. Beds were comfortable. As noted by others, the upstairs master bedroom is an open loft, though there is a large walk in closet and bathroom up there. We loved our stay and might well return for a visit in a different season!

If you’re looking for a peaceful cabin in the north woods, this is the place for you. Stayed here for a friends wedding across the parking lot at the lodge. The cabin was clean and cute with a comfortable bed and pillows. The host was super responsive and if ever in Lakewood again, I would rent again. Just wish I could’ve stayed longer than the weekend!

Host was kind, responsive, and respectful Property was as described, beautiful scenery and a great place to escape for the weekend. Spent a lot of time on and in the water. Wonderful weekend with a lot of memories made!

Pictures do NOT do this place justice. Far and away exceeded my expectations and then some. There is no WiFi/TV, however with everything to do at Mark’s place, you and your group will be far from bored. Could not have asked for a better experience, 10/10 will definitely be coming back!
