Tommy and Janet were very responsive! They were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend special. The house was a wonderful experience!

second time staying here and it was better than i remembered. the house itself is incredible.. huge kitchen island for entertaining, immaculate bedrooms, and that back window wall is just spectacular. 10/10 vibes, love this place!

This was an awesome location and the pics doesn't do it justice. Steps to the beach with plenty of food options in the area. The split floors are perfect for family/group trip, especially with children.

We stayed here a week ago and are still talking bout the awesome time we had. Beautiful home, easy walk to the beach and shops. Hosts were extremely nice, friendly, helpful and communicative. Would love to stay there again and are referring anyone who asks for a wonderful quiet getaway to this place. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

The property is ideal for family gatherings. It is very well equipped if you wish to make meals. The large living room is well arranged for group conversations, even close enough to the kitchen to includ those working in the kitchen. My wife and I were there with our Navy son, our two daughters and our son in law. We had a grand time reminiscing and sharing individual updates well into the night. The baths were well equipped, including very fluffy towels. The beds were comfortable with quality linens. Everything was spotlessly clean. Betty was very responsive and helpful, and was quick to respond to information requests. If you are looking for a spacious and comfortable, clean place to stay in Norfolk, I recommend Bay Dream Cottage.

This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you

Great location close to the beach and lots of things to do. Also quiet and walkable. The room is cozy and the view is amazing. We would absolutely stay again!

Check in was super easy, the AC was on when we arrived which was great after a long Uber. The pool felt nice and the whole backyard area was fantastic. We ended up using the bikes a lot more than we thought which was a lot of fun. It's a quick bike ride to the boardwalk and walking didn't take too much longer. Bradley was very quick to respond whenever I had a question about anything. If we come back to Virginia Beach we will definitely be checking the availability of this house!

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

The Pool House was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and welcoming! Denise had thoughtful touches like snacks, water, and coffee ready for us when we arrived. Both she and her sweet dog Murphy made us feel right at home. We were also able to check in when we arrived in Sandbridge a little early. The Pool House was ready and waiting. We were in town for a wedding, and when a last-minute issue came up with the newlyweds’ accommodations, Denise was incredibly gracious and allowed us to turn the Pool House over to them. It ended up being the perfect space for the couple to relax for a couple of days before leaving on their honeymoon. The couple and their parents were very grateful for Denise’s kindness and willingness to help. The stress of not having a place to stay on their wedding night melted away. I would absolutely recommend staying here — Denise is a wonderful host, and Murphy is a joy! God bless you, Denise.

This rental property was the ideal spot for our family reunion of 16, ages 8 to 78. This was one of the most well-equipped properties we have stayed at. We have stayed at several rental properties in Sandbridge Beach, VA in previous years, and this is our favorite. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with essentials (coffee, sugar, creamers, paper towels, toilet paper, regular and beach towels, etc.) The kids loved the game room and outdoor pool. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong room. Two big dining tables easily accommodated our group size (8 adults at one and 8 kids at the other). The beds and pillows were all comfortable. Amy, the Operations Manager, was most helpful and very responsive to any of our questions. We plan to return to this property sometime in the future. Definitely a 5-star experience for everyone in our family.

Tiffany’s place was the perfect stay for our family! There was a glider/rocking chair in the bunk room that really came in handy for our little ones. The location was perfect - at the end of a cul de sac - and everything was just as it was advertised. Tiffany was extremely helpful and responsive. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this rental!

We stayed at this location with our 2 toddlers and it was the perfect location! Close walking distance to the oceanfront and shops, quaint and quiet place to live in during rainy days and naptime, and overall peaceful stay! Christine was a kind and communicative host! She was flexible and very easy to work with! We would definitely stay here again the next time we come to town!

We had an amazing time during our stay in Norfolk. So many things to do and see! At the end of each day, it was a huge relief to be able to come back to a private and quiet home! Everything was in perfect order when we arrived and went without any issues with the hosts or the home itself. We are definitely going to visit Norfolk again in the future, and would stay here again without hesitation!

The only issue was there was no propane for us to use the firepit but we found another way to fix smores.

The house was clean and felt like home. The hostess was great to deal with and very responsive. We had an excellent experience staying hear.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house is roomy and accommodated our group wonderfully with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is huge and there are two refrigerators. I was able to bake and decorate the cakes/cupcakes for my son's wedding with no problems. Dahlia responded promptly when we discovered a broken kitchen faucet and she had a repairman come as soon as he could.

It was a great place and me and my friends were glad to have found a place like it in the location. Jeff and Randi were extremely helpful in explaining exactly what we needed to do to get in as well as steps we needed to take before leaving the house. We were very pleased.

I could not wait to write a review about our stay. So much so that we are not even home yet. We had a glorious week at Bay Bliss! Bliss is the perfect description. Anywhere in this beautiful home you can hear the waves of the ocean. There was nothing better than listening to that while falling asleep on the comfiest bed in the master bedroom. Hosts were extremely responsive, helpful with local recommendations and extremely friendly. I have stayed at lot of AirBnb’s and hotels. Honestly, I have never felt so at home and I felt that way from the second I walked in the door. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Pip and Sheryl were absolutely wonderful—friendly, accommodating, and incredibly responsive. The level of care they provided felt like white glove service from start to finish. They even arranged an early check-in for us, which was such a relief since we were coming in from out of town and unsure what we’d do with our bags. Everything was seamless, and I couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. With family in the area, I’m already looking forward to staying with them again!
