Great spot for a weekend getaway. Awesome park right down the block, beach right across the street, walkable diners and other restaurants.

Sojourn has been an amazing place to stay. They are very helpful and the place was nothing short of amazing. I felt right at home with access to everything that I needed. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to the area looking for a comfy place with reliable hosts!!

My stay was better than I expected. The room was updated and clean. I had a faulty blow dryer which they replaced immediately. They communicated well with me. They had to send out an text to all of the guests to remind people of a quiet policy after 10 pm which I appreciated. The neighborhood was good. There was road construction on the street but that was no big deal and there was no noise from it. Overall a very good stay. I would do it again.

Sojourn was a fantastic host, providing us with helpful tips about local restaurants and activities. Communication was easy, and they ensured we had everything we needed for a smooth stay.

Last minute booked this place for a few days—definitely recommend if you’re looking for a decent place to stay. Host was very responsive and friendly and provided lots of info and proactive about recs. Great host. Place was as seen in pics and supplies were abundant. Kitchen was very clean and bedrooms. Only thing is the tub had some rust on it and was a little dirty, but wasn’t too much of an issue. Currently a lot of road construction around, so getting into the complex was bumpy and parking is very tight, but was fine. It’s like a quad apartment setup and walls aren’t the greatest, you can hear the neighbors. Overall, a decent stay for the price and last minute booking—would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a convenient place close to the beach!

I enjoyed my stay! I highly recommend your stay with Sojourn, they are responsive, helpful, and even listed a few restaurants that are local to try. The space was super clean and felt like a home away from home. You are just blocks away from the beach with beautiful sunsets or sunrise views.

My stay here was great, the kitchen was fully equipped for me to cook for my family while I was there down to seasonings and they even had water bottles in the refrigerator for us. The seating outside was relaxing and was just a short walk away from a very nice park that I was able to bring my son and dog to. I had a problem getting into my door ( my fault because I was reading the wrong code ) however I called someone and they helped me figure that out within seconds. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!!

We had a fantastic trip to Jacquie A in Cape Charles for the few days leading up to New Year’s Eve 2021. This was a fantastic house that was very comfortable with nice amenities and some interesting design touches. Highly recommended from us. Will certainly come again!

Charming house with lots of amenities in a charming town with lots to do. Perfect for a couple’s getaway. Very close to beach, park, and business district. Chesapeake Properties was very accommodating of our desire to extend our stay. We would definitely stay there again or in another Cape Charles property they manage.

Lily's Pad is everything the listing promises and more. It's a recently renovated home with tons of the famous Cape Charles charm. The beds are extremely comfortable-- even the trundle bed that my three year old slept on was cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and a pleasure to use. All of the bathrooms are beautiful and impeccably clean. An especially fun feature of the home was the paved patio and brick fireplace in the backyard-- the bistro lights are a nice touch, too! The house is located very close to the beach as well as all of the downtown restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere even though we had a golf cart-- it's that close. Lily's pad is located on a charming, quiet street with lots of friendly neighbors. My family felt completely comfortable and we can't wait to visit again!

Chesapeake Properties was such a wonderful host/manager. Quick responses, great recommendations, and extremely helpful. The house was spotless and comfortable. It was steps to the life center and few more to the beach. Just such an enjoyable stay. Thank you for all you did!!

Beautiful historic home in a great location and street. Only a short walk to the beach and downtown. The house has been renovated and decorated with taste and quality. It is fully stocked, much more than expected! Especially the kitchen that has everything a cook might need! Beds (mattresses) are a bit tired. It has a great lower level bathroom and a beautiful, huge, laundry room that makes it all much more functional and comfortable. The back yard is a dream, lots of spaces to relax, entertain, grill or roast marshmallows and gorgeous at night with mini lights. The outdoor shower is wonderful to have. The front porch and veranda are great at all hours especially after the beach! We were a three generation family with six adults and the space worked perfectly fine.

We had a nice stay at Bay Breeze. You will definitely want a golf cart as walking to the little downtown and public beach would be too far. There appeared to be plenty of parking for a car in these areas but getting around by golf cart is so much of the fun. The realty company brought a propane tank immediately when we alerted them as to the need. Overall, the home and service was very good… much much better than what we have found at the last couple of years at the Outer Banks. We ate out much more than usual on this trip. The Irish pub, cape Charles coffee shop and Hook and Harvey were all excellent.

We visit Cape Charles often and this is without a doubt the best house we’ve stayed in. The location was incredible, especially with kids. We were walking distance to everything which made it so convenient - the beach, all things on mason ave. including peach st books where you can get incredible coffee in the morning, a small convenience store, a gorgeous park and playground, tennis courts, so many things. Having a golf cart in cape Charles is so fun, but you really don’t need one if you’re staying here. The house itself was super clean and we loved the layout. The kitchen had everything we needed and our children loved sleeping on the pull out Murphy bed on the first floor. We spent most of our time on the front porch, I have to say which was so lovely. We will be booking this place again!

This was an awesome place to create lasting memories with my sisters and our husbands. The condo was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and the beds and pillows were super comfy. Soujorn communicated well and responded in less than an hour when messaged. The location at the beach was scenic and very relaxing after a hectic week. We were pleasantly surprised that Jose Tequila was onsite! The best part was that we could just leave when it was time to go, without a long list of things to do....worry free. We will definitely be back to this gem!

Wonderful stay in Cape Charles! The condo was spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed. The gated community felt very safe, and the town was beautiful and charming. Hosts were incredibly responsive—would definitely stay again!
