I visited with my husband and daughter and all 3 of us agree that this is one of our favorite all time places. There was a perfect balance of being in nature and comfort. The architecture and natural surroundings are one of a kind. There is so much to explore in the area and the only problem was that we both wanted to stay on the property and explore. I also cannot say enough about how excellent the restaurant was. The food was truly outstanding, one of us is a vegan and it was not problem, the menu changed daily which was incredible and we were able to try different dishes. The care that goes into everything from the thoughtful design, the care and reverence for the environment and every single person that works at Punta Pajaros is incredible and we really appreciated it. Thank you for sharing your special spot with us. We feel so lucky to have visited and are already plotting a return.

Sven is a very kind and willing person, Yaret and Mrs. Horte are very friendly and cook delicious! There is unparalleled peace in the Encuentro house. It's a little hard to get to, but it's well worth it. Thank you so much for everything!

Claude was very friendly, flexible and we loved her classic VW! The bungalow is very tidy, with the necessary amenities, a super comfortable bed that we wanted to take and a huge garden so our dog can run and loiter. We had a very relaxed and peaceful time. I'd like to come back when it's all greener. Thank you so much for everything Claude!

Raúl was very friendly, made us feel welcome and greeted us when we arrived to make sure everything was in order. She gave us recommendations for places to check out. The Airbnb was very clean, everything was very inviting. The terrace with an amazing view. The bed was comfortable. We would definitely return.

This place has it all 🤩 just WOW! It is a short walk to the beach, close to everything and in the best area of Zicatela! Marco is super pet friendly, he welcomed us with our 3 dogs and was always very friendly with both them and us. Lupita, the person in charge of maintenance and cleaning, was always super responsive and friendly! Actually 1000/10! I would go back many more times!

Adelina and Scott were very kind to welcome me at the last minute due to changes in my original reservation. The accommodation is super nice and has enough to spend a few days, there is enough to cook, make coffee and use the wifi without problems, and the bed's mosquito net protected me very well at night. The area is very quiet and is a suitable place to be in nature and disconnect... on one side there is enough virgin beach to walk for a while and on the other side there are some restaurants a few minutes away. I was told that there are some grocery stores nearby, but I already had groceries, so I didn't have a chance to check it out.

We loved our time at Casa Matilda! Julio and the entire team communicated well and made us feel right at home. Casa Matilda, the local restaurants, and the surrounding areas were the perfect fit for us. We will definitely be back!

Rigo and Jorge were the best hosts: friendly, responsible, respectful, proactive, warm, and so very thoughtful. They are just super good people who run an amazing operation. The Airbnb was immaculate and clean, and of course stunning. The surroundings were beautiful, especially the view of the agave farm and the nearby hills. We would stay here again when we come back to Oaxaca, we just wish they had a bigger home to rent, as an Airbnb, so we can bring our kids as well! The dogs were so lovely and friendly, especially Perseo. We absolutely loved staying here. In addition, as soon as we set out to travel, Rigo immediately contacted us to make sure we had a taxi worked out from the airport. This lovely place isn’t near the airport or the city center, but getting to their place actually made for a nice 30 minute ride with Ramiro, a very trusted taxi driver. We have such fond memories of Oaxaca and this Airbnb was a major reason for this.

I work in a job that demands that I am very responsive on the telephone and I am in front of the computer a lot. So to have a digital detox in a place that felt so magical and alive was exactly what me and my partner needed. The place is loving restored and taken care of. We can return to the natural rhythm of waking up with the sun and going to sleep shortly after dark by the firelight. The view from the ecological toilet is worth it alone. There were bird songs, and star gazing and yoga on grass, prickles on the feet, sun on the skin and crisp mountain air to cuddle to. We brought an ice chest and all our supplies for the 4 days we stayed and we didn't leave! (we had visited San Mateo befor). This was our retreat from the hurried life. The cabin stayed cool enough at night to keep all our food fresh for the whole time. It's also wam and cozy with a gorgeous slow burn fire. My dog was the happiest I had seen in a number of years. I loved my stay at this beautiful place. The listing description was accurate and reality exceeded my expectations. The place is very quiet and beautiful, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. In addition, its location is great. It is very close to the beach and various shops, making it perfect for exploring the area and enjoying all it has to offer. Gracy, the host, was very helpful and kind at all times. He was always available to answer my questions and make me feel like home. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy place. Don't hesitate to book!

All excellent only the weight equipment that you see in the photos did not correspond to 100, but outside of it, everything is fine, great location if you are looking to be close to the bars.

100% Recommended to stay on this airbnb, it has a spectacular view of the sea, the spaces are too comfortable , it has spectacular common areas, I think the photos do not do justice to how excellent and beautiful the place is, I would definitely stay here again.

Although Waze and Maps didn't detect the location, Luis sent someone on a motorcycle to guide us to the Airbnb. I had spoken to him the day before to be able to check in earlier and he told me that as soon as I was ready he would contact me to check in. The road was closed and we no longer arrived early, but flexibility and kindness were present. It is very important that you go with an off-road vehicle as the ad says. The instructions are very clear! We traveled with 2 dogs and they were very happy in the accommodation. It's worth it to release turtles on the nearby beach, it's in the afternoons. The kitchen is super-equipped and the staff is always attentive to the needs of the guests.

We loved our stay, Vanessa and Mariano were always so nice and helpful! I would love to stay with you again! They picked the perfect location everyone in the small town was so nice and helpful 🙂 We used our own transportation which made everything easier 🙂

The ranch was in a busy area, but it is a very beautiful natural space where you can relax. It is very quiet and the people who live and work there are very friendly and kind. We stayed 1 month and there was nothing missing, enjoying ourselves fully while we worked and walked

It is a very quiet and private place with an incredible view! It is better than the pictures. We had to take a taxi to get to the village, but the bungalow is very well equipped, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, it has two tables on the balcony and chairs to rest while watching the sea. We go down to the beach, we walk for 10-15 minutes. The pool was under maintenance, but we were told in advance.

It is like the pictures, the only thing that I would say are the workers that are in there, they need to leave when they are supposed to, cause when they are there doesn't feel any privacy
