This was my family's second time staying at this amazing country home. The hospitality is just amazing and it is just such a nice way to get away from city life. We will be back again!

Exceptional stay! The peaceful, homely neighborhood was perfect for our family, and the spacious house made it easy to relax. The neat backyard provided a great space for play and offered therapeutic greenery. Conveniently located near Kerugoya CBD, it combined tranquility with accessibility. Wacera, our reliable host, even arranged for a reliable chef who prepared delicious meals. She is attentive and responsive person. Thd home is a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality. I highly recommended this home either for a quiet, family-friendly getaway or a tranquil tour just to unwind.

What a gorgeous location and fantastic host! We were 5 adults, one 5 year old and one teenager and had a very relaxing weekend . What we loved - Stunning views, beautiful A frame house with well kept rooms, fresh linen. Bonus - friendly dogs, lovely horses , amazing sunrise views. Room for slight improvement - carry sleeping masks if you sleep in, as the A frame window design makes it hard for the curtains to fully block out the morning sunrays. What was unbeatable - Wizzy is extremely responsive and helpful host. Something to try when you visit - Wizzy and John are incredible and they have a great horse riding training school - 4 of us had lessons and really enjoyed it. I chickened out after it rained a bit, but I guesse leaves something to do for the next trip! Overall quite happy and highly recommend.

The home matched the Airbnb description 100%. It’s a stand alone house with 2 private bedrooms and a bunk bed in the upstairs hallway. It’s very clean with a fully equipped and functional kitchen. Clean beddings & towels available. Home is in the same compound as the host’s parents home, and the compound is gated. Feels very safe. 2 dogs live in the compound. Both very friendly. The smaller one is usually always outside, but the German Shepherd is more of a guard dog as is out at night. If afraid of dogs, host is flexible with putting them away as needed. WiFi is available. Noise pollution in the neighborhood is low. The hosts are responsive, thoughtful, kind and friendly. The recommended driver, Ernest, is excellent. Always timely and very knowledgeable of surrounding areas. Was able to drive me to Ol Pajeta conservatory and Aberdares mountain ranges (both places I would highly recommend to tour). His charges are also fair. I had an exceptional experience overall! 11/10 recommend!

We found Petra`s place as we left it a few years ago, very friendly and welcoming to a mix of guests from around the world. Petra is an excellent host who keeps track of everyone`s needs and shows genuine interest. The different rooms and cottages are very nice and cosy. We enjoyed the food and hospitality. We would love to come again .

Overall this is a very nice place. It was a little hard to find, especially at night as Google maps does not provide the correct directions. There is a gate for security purposes but you have to call and request for it to opened whenever you want to come or go. The apartment is very clean and nice with two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one full. Elizabeth is next door and available if you need anything.

Eunice, is outstanding and very friendly... loved her orientation and free spirit.. the place is as the picture show... plenty of rooms to stay... only issue was sink blocking but definitely planning to visit for longer stay... thank you for opening your home to us...

Although a little hard to find, it was worth the wait. the property is beautiful and peaceful. Joseph was on hand to ensure a smooth check in as well an ensuring we had enough fire wood. The electricity tripped on the second night but Joseph came immediately after texting him to rectify the issue. The pool was lovely and clean. The kitchen is a little small but had everything we needed. Rooms were stunning and clean. Would definitely recommend

We had a truly wonderful stay at Sally’s place. Right from the beginning, her communication was excellent—clear, timely, and very helpful both before our arrival and throughout our stay. We had requested an early check-in, and she was kind enough to accommodate our request, which made our travel experience much smoother. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with delicious muffins and soft drinks—a thoughtful gesture that immediately reflected her warmth and hospitality. The home itself is even more beautiful than the photos suggest. Nestled in a peaceful and secure location, it offers everything you might need and more. The swimming pool and gym were a delightful bonus—well-maintained and easily accessible. The staff were polite, efficient, and added to the overall positive experience. A special mention goes to her two adorable puppies, Zoro and Maya, whose playful presence we loved. we thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Chef Martha did a great job on the agreed menu and the housekeeper Lucy was friendly and quick with information to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable

On arrival we were welcomed by Raymond & Kendi at the front. Once signed in Kendi directed us to the tent and assisted with the luggage. Upon the first few days the team and especially Maggie and Anthony made us feel welcomed and were attentive to every need. The location is beautiful, peaceful and welcoming. The local wildlife is also there to make you welcome, they will make some sounds in the night but don’t fear as the security measures in this place are top notch. Peter and Eric are great at helping prepare your rooms for the evening and are great guides to take you around the grounds in the evening ensuring your safety. You can go for a local hike, ask for Isaac Mwangi as he’s a local database. Finally Betty and her cohost were amazing, responsive and very proactive making for a stellar experience. I can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful surroundings and private location. Access road is a little rough but that's what I expected for a remote location. Views of Mount Kenya from the balcony. Generous sized rooms and nice layout

Beautiful place

Great host ,very helpful,the location is easy to access, you get the best view to Mt Kenya when you get to the rooftop. Make sure to wake up early in the morning for a clearer view.
