An excellent experience. The location ideal walk 5 minutes to port, 15 minutes to train yet in peaceful quiet spot backs up to large lush park, away from the busy, noisy waterfront. I ran the coastal pedestrian path each morning to Portofino and it was lovely, stunning coastal views and magnificent villas. Got there within a hour. Pro tip if you’re going to Portofino get there early bc loads of tourists start pouring in by 10:45 am. Everything from check in to out went super smoothly. Andrea’s sweet parents live across the garden they are available whenever but give you privacy. They are lovely people. I found this casa to be basic, larger than expected comfortable and peaceful. The only negative is there is a huge construction project directly behind and attached to the building of this rental the offensive drilling and hammering begins promptly at 7am every morning and goes on all day. I’m a morning person up and out early it didn’t interfere with my sleep. Overall I recommend.

Fantastic location! We really enjoyed taking coffee on the balcony watching the boats come & go. The apartment had everything you could need for a week away & was clean & tidy. Great water pressure & nice to have an option of both a shower or bath. SML is definitely the best location on this strip of the Ligure coastline for getting about & plenty of great restaurants to choose from. The local panificino had everything you needed for breakfast & lunch. Thank you Luciano & Ilinea for hosting us!

The view from the property was absolutely stunning—we actually regretted staying for only one night. At night, the moonlight reflecting on the sea created a shimmering, enchanting scene that was truly unforgettable.
