House holiday rentals in Northport

Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

Ive rented alot of air bnbs over the years. So far? This has been the best experience ive had. The house was amazing. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Super well stocked with amenities that most places dont provide. Jennifer is super easy to communicate with and get ahold of. We will be back next year:)

Our family had a wonderful stay at Yvonne’s home during early summer. The condo was very clean, clutter free, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked of ALL supplies (facial and bathroom tissue, detergent, softener, coffee and all the accompaniments, towels, etc.). The location was fantastic, which made it easy for us to enjoy time in Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Cheboygen, and Good Hart. It was off the beaten path, quiet, and very beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing at the outdoor pools and hot tub. Yvonne communicated very well and responding quickly to any inquiries we had. She’s a wonderful host with a great home! Do not hesitate to book her home if it’s available!

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay this weekend! The house was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook and hang out as a group. We especially appreciated the outdoor space—it was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

This is perhaps the best rental we’ve found after years of going up to the Leelanau Peninsula. The location is perfect, the layout of the home is comfortable and spacious, and it has every amenity a family needs to hunker down for a stay. Simply put, it’s everything a family could ask for when staying in the Northport area. Also, hosts are very responsive and friendly to any and all questions.

Location, location, location! Sitting on the bluff looking out over Lake Michigan is everything this home is about. An absolutely beautiful view and grounds. The house could easily sleep 12 and leave plenty of space for everyone to have. Matthew responded very fast and made this process very easy. The outdoor fire pit area was awesome! The deck was big and offered spectacular views of both Lake Michigan and the stars at night. I am very familiar with the area so finding it was no problem at all. I thought Matthew gave great directions if someone was not familiar with the area. The beds were very comfortable and no one seem to complain. Only a few things I thought needed attention. The house could use some upgrades as it is showing its age and where. Certainly not to the point where it is rundown, but just the basics. Peeling wallpaper, a few cobwebs here and there cut linoleum floor, but that’s really it. Overall, it was a great day and we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you, Matthew.

We had a great stay - this waterfront setting was a perfect place for Our family to gather for a wedding at Shanahan’s barn! The waterfront is gorgeous.. also loved that they had all of the little toiletries and paper products - perfect amount for a weekend and very convenient.

Our family (4 adults, 2 children) stay at Sun Bear was wonderful. The home is spotless and beautiful with floor-to-ceiling windows on the Lake Leelanau side of the house, great decks facing the lake, a stone fireplace for those chilly mornings, and a pier for launching the home’s kayaks and canoe. Additionally, Sun Bear is very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well-stocked with spices and tools for cooking family dinners. Our host, Chris, was friendly, professional, and responded quickly to our requests and questions. He was also terrific about offering suggestions about restaurants in the area as well as places to see and things to do. He even went out and purchased the brands of coffee we enjoy. Talk about service! We will definitely try to stay at Sun Bear again.

Had a great stay with our two kids (3.5 and 6 yrs old). They were able to share the second downstairs bedroom and had their own bathroom. The place was just like the pictures, very beautiful. Had tons of fun exploring the area, our favorite places were the Grass River Natural area down the street, downtown Bellaire for the brewery and candy store and ice cream store, King Orchard further north was great for the kids, and finally we spent two days at Antrim Beach to play in the sand and look for rocks. Cooked a lot in the kitchen and made smores on the firepit a few times. The only negative is that the house is near a road so although it is very quiet and peaceful, there are occasional cars going by which you can't see but only hear.

We absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful property, very private, and close to wineries! Lots to do with littles. We had 4 kids under 4, and were able to manage sleeping/nap arrangements and saftey/babyproofing. The only downside was not having curtains or blinds- for little kids who nap in multiple rooms, we really had to get creative- and the sun woke the adults up super early. The espresso machine saved us! Otherwise the hot tub worked great, and the management team was very responsive! We would highly recommend!

Not even sure where to begin! We booked this for my friends low-key bachelorette party and it was the most perfect place for us to relax and unplug! Shana was an amazing host, always communicating via the app in a very timely manner. The house was pristine and SO cute! It was clean and stocked with everything you could need (paddle board, kayaks, life jackets, wood, spare tooth brushes, ample towels, kitchen items, coffee were some of our favorites). The ONLY complaint - which is to no fault of the host - is that the mosquitos were thick at all hours of the day so be mindful of that :) have already reccomended this place to many friends and hoping I can back here soon too. 10/10 recommend!

This modern and well designed rental home was just what we were looking for...a quiet, peaceful spot for 3 friends to catch up and reconnect. Hosts were very responsive, answering questions before the booking was made, offering early check-in, and responding to questions during the stay. The setting is unusual for the Leelanau Peninsula, with the home nestled on a quiet forested lot that feels just like camping...but with all of the luxuries the home has to offer. Comfy beds, hot tub, solo stove (BYO firewood), well equipped kitchen, and a short drive to the lakes/bays and rolling orchard and vineyard views the region is known for. Easy access to Sutton's Bay, 9 bean rows (coffee, desserts, lunch), and the Leelanau Trail. Perfect as a quiet retreat. Looking forward to another visit again soon!

Book it! Go enjoy the state parks, higgins lake, the zoo, miles of trails for bikes or walking and have a beautiful place to call home for the night. Food and ice cream all over the area. It's the kinda of place where they make you pump your gas befor you pay. Took my boat and overall it was just a great time! The place is clean and quiet. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Beyond being wonderfully designed, the home was very comfortable and had available kitchen supplies for those interested in cooking and amenities. Yoav was very accommodating and responsive and brought an iron and ironing board quickly when requested. We were here for a wedding and had a great time thanks to the Box Haus

All around an amazing place to stay! we will absolutely book again!

We make it up to northern Michigan a few times each summer. First time staying in Omena, MI. Couldn’t have asked for a better location to spend time with family. We loved being right on the water and a way from the crowds of Traverse City.

This cute and clean little cottage was perfect for us. We had been traveling to Leland for many years and knew the area well. We knew by the location that this would be a perfect spot for us. The cottage is as described. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again.

Rachael and Dan have a great place to stay at, comfortable, clean, great location. Will definitely stay again!
