Guest house holiday rentals in Northern Vietnam

This place is a real AIRBNB treasure. It is right on the Mekong with a stunning view on the river and the hilly countryside, especially for sunset. The breakfast Monica provides is also very delicious ans the cherry on the cake is her home made jam and the peanut butter!! But most of all, Monica is such a lovely host and we felt like we stayed at a family members house. It was such a sociable place and we met other travellers, exchanging stories and just having a good time together. The guesthouse is very clean and is beautifully decorated. We had an amazing time and wish we could have stayed longer. Monica helped us with taxi and scooter rentals and a lot of tipps on where to go and what to do. A true 5-star experience!

Very pleasant stay with stone parents, the bedrooms are large and comfortable. Pierre makes it much easier for you to check in and speaks French, when parents are welcoming and smiling! I would recommend this place near Vân Long. Nice moment in the house of Pierre's parents, spacious and comfortable rooms. Pierre help you to arrive and can speak English and French, he parents are really sympathic and smily. I recommend this place, really near to Vân Long.

From the minute you enter you know this is going to be a great place to stay. Inviting atmosphere, clean rooms, and an appealing breakfast. Staff (concierge's, Moon and Vipi) go out of their way to ensure all your needs are met.

The place has a picturesque view, the rooms are tidy, but rather spartan, because there is a wardrobe missing. Unfortunately, Thuan wanted to pay for breakfast, although it's included according to AirBnB. Also, the dinner was outrageously expensive, 240,000. For comparison, a large bowl of water costs 40,000 in Hanoi.

Great value and located in a fairly quiet part of the city.

We were welcomed joyfully and made to feel at home very quickly. The host gave us a map of the area and sugested places for us to visit and eat. The staff were very friendly and always talked to us when we walked passed them. The breakfast was nice also. We were also recommend a very good trip to Ninh Binh. Would definitely come again.

We especially liked the quiet location in one of the nicest area's of the city. It was so peaceful that we woke with birdsong, which was amazing. The blooming flowers on the balcony and the stylish design of the room was adding to the overall experience. Having a shower separated from the bathroom with a glass door is a rare find at this price. I stayed about a dozen times in Hanoi and this was the best. Ms. Moon was very accommodating and fulfilled all of our requests.

Chu's accommodation was absolutely beautiful. It was very stylish and comfortable, had a nice hot shower, the beds were comfortable and clean. We even had our own balcony overlooking the area! Linh provided us with many recommendations around the area, as well as suggestions on where to find gifts for people, where to get haircuts, and offering us traditional Vietnamese sweets. There was bottled water available every day, as well as teas and coffees. This was, by far, the best place I have stayed in Vietnam. I felt right at home :)

This accomodation is very beautiful and the family is really generous. Spending time there was really fun and great experience to see Vietnam in its original beauty and also the pool is really great. I would recomend staying there for sure!

We had a really great stay at Sunny Homestay. The location is great an the room was cozy and clean. You have to walk in through a travel agency to get to the room, but all directions have been provided upfront. Due to the central location in Hanoi City, in can be a bit noisy but that was no problem for us. Would recommend staying here.

What about this 5-day stay with Rose and Pierre? I really enjoyed spending time at their place, it feels good, they are there when you need them, the house is beautiful, the delicious meals, the experiences of discovering this beautiful region and the multiple ethnic cultures they offer are great, quality and far from ambient mass tourism. All in a real concern to respect the environment and cultures of local ethnic minorities. We talked for hours, a lot of laughs, they welcomed me into their home as if I were from their family. I would 100% recommend! Thank you Rose and Pierre for everything! We keep in touch 😉

Being Long’s guest was great. While I was on my tour, I booked his Airbnb and noticed I won’t make it in time to his place because it was too late, so I asked him to join the next day and he agreed which was very helpful. I appreciate this flexibility and can recommend this place to stay. It’s definitely decent for the price.

Loved the room!Comfortable and restful sleep

A spot right in the middle of town. Google had us going to an odd place up in the hills a bit, stay to the main road and you will find it on the left.

Nhan and her husband were so welcoming, and so helpful with local recommendations! The room was a great and exactly what I needed for a weekend away on Cat Ba island, cannot recommend enough.

Nhan is an amazing host. I have already told many families about her homestay. Right from booking, to checking in, to organizing activities, cooking and booking our bus back, Nhan went above and beyond normal host duties. We even got to help with an English class. If you want to experience the kind and genuine homestay, then definitely book with Nhan. My son and I have been traveling Vietnam for 4 months and Nhan has a magic touch for making you feel at home. I really admire what she I doing and how hard she works to make your trip perfect. Thank you Nhan for including us in your wonderful home and daily life.

The house is next to Sapa market, it's easy to find.10 mins walk from Sapa Square, the room is pretty good, hot water, internet is pretty good.There are fewer people in Sapa in winter, so it is quieter.The boss is very nice, English communication is no problem, the hotel can also rent motorcycles, book tickets, etc.In short, it's pretty good.
