Waterfront holiday rentals in Northern Finland

Der Blick aus den Fenstern ist einmalig überwältigend. Das muss man live erlebt haben. Das gilt für alle drei Räume: Wohn/Esszimmer mit Küchenzeile, Sauna!! und Schlafzimmer. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Asunto sijaitsee huippupaikalla Oulun keskustan ja meren äärellä. Näköala asunnosta on kuin maalaus, sitä olisi voinut ihailla pidempäänkin. Kaunis sisustus, rauhallinen tunnelma. Kaikki sujui erittäin hyvin, suosittelemme kohdetta muillekin. Itse mahdollisuuksien mukaan palaamme uudelleen.

Es war eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit einer tollen Lage gemütlich eingerichtet tollen Blick auf dem See und einem ausgesprochen guten Karma. Die Holzsauna und die Abkühlung im See eine wahre Erfrischung. Gern waren wir dort, ausgesprochen nette Gastgeber. Kommunikation hat sehr gut geklappt beim, nächsten Trip zum Nordkap dann wieder.

Laura and Antti were great hosts who responded quickly. We had a great stay with a child. The apartment had everything we needed for two-nights-stay. The location could not be better - everything was at walking distance and the view from living room was great. Highly recommended!

Tämä majoitus oli aivan huippu! Host oli todella ystävällinen, ja kaikki sujui erinomaisesti. Erityisen iso plussa tilavasta parkkihallista ja upeista järvinäkymistä. Myös sauna oli ihana lisä, ja koko asunto oli äärimmäisen siisti ja toimiva. Suosittelen lämpimästi tätä paikkaa kaikille!

Majoitus vastasi odotuksiamme. Kaikki oli siistiä ja puhdasta. Sijainti erinomainen, ravintolapalveluja kivenheiton päässä.

Magnifique séjour en Laponie et l'appartement est chaleureux, propre et très fonctionnel. Niina et Heini sont adorables et très réactives en cas de problèmes ou questions. Également très bien situé vous êtes à 10 min à pied des commerces et du centre ville. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à Rovaniemi et repartons des étoiles plein les yeux. Merci à Niina et Heini

The apartment is located in a beautiful neighbourhood, overlooking a lake that was frozen when we arrived. We felt right at home as soon as we got there. The apartment is super cozy and has everything that one needs during his/her stay. We were three, and we thought that the space was perfectly sized for us. The railway station and the city centre are all at a walkable distance, with some stunning views on the way. All in all, I loved my time here and can’t wait to be back.

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

Wir waren zu viert in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ilkka hat uns persönlich begrüßt. Das Haus liegt nahe der Straße und ist auch im Winter gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Sauna ist prima, die Betten bequem und das Sofa neu. Gewürze und Kaffee waren vorhanden. Ilkka hat uns Langlaufski und Schneeschuhe günstig organisiert und eine Loipe für uns gespurt, die hinter dem Haus losging. Polarlichter haben wir auch 2x gesehen. Alles war super unkompliziert. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.

lieu idéal en forêt face à un lac. endroit paisible très beau sans être éloigné de Rovaniemi. chalet correspond au descriptif très agréable de disposer d un sauna dans le logement et d un espace barbecue à l extérieur.

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

The accommodation was perfect for our stay in Rovaniemi. The flat is very central and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The flat is furnished to a very high standard and you immediately feel at home. I can really recommend it! Leena is a great host and was always easy to contact.

Clean and new apartment. It was easy to find and free Parking nearby. Very clear instructions from Johannes. All the needed amenities for studio apartment. Small details like fan, phone charger and drying rack was good addition. For the price there can't be better accomodation.

Hôte très sympathique nous avons été bien accueillis. Asko a pris le temps de nous expliquer comment fonctionnait les différents équipements du logement et nous a donnés plusieurs conseils pour profiter au maximum de notre séjour.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The apartment was spotless, cosy, and felt just like home. The location was unbeatable—just a short walk to the city centre and the Arktikum museum, making it easy to explore. Everything was well-equipped, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Abel was an amazing host, very responsive and flexible, making check-in and our entire stay smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciated his hospitality. There was nothing to fault, and we loved every moment spent here. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail made our experience even better. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a clean, cosy, and well-located place, this is it! The place was great, with a wonderful location that made everything convenient. The best part was the ski-in, ski-out access for both cross country skiing as well as downhill. Highly recommended for ski lovers ⛷️!

Asunnolle oli todella helppo saapua ja auton sai maksuttomaan parkkiin ihan viereen. Asunto on todella hieno ja viihtyisä. Livenä paljon hienompi ja isompi kuin kuvista saa käsityksen. Keittiöstä löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Asunnolta on näkymät joelle ja ulkoilureitit ihan vieressä. Oltiin todella tyytyväisiä asuntoon ja järjestelyihin. Tätä voi suositella.

Es war super! Die Wohnung ist super zentral, man kann vieles zu Fuß erledigen. Sie ist modern und hat alles, was man braucht.
