Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Northeast Philadelphia

The apartment was absolutely spotless and very comfortable! You can walk barefooted and have nothing sticking to the bottom of your feet. We were impressed by attention to detail. The host stocked the bathroom and kitchen with all the essentials. We felt safe and secure at all times. And, free parking. Will definitely stay here our next trip to Philadelphia.

We had a great weeklong stay at this unique Airbnb in historic Manayunk. The location is excellent—close to shops, restaurants, and trails. The space is exactly as pictured: clean, well-kept, and in a very cool old mill building with lots of character. It was perfect for us and our two dogs. The dedicated parking spot is a nice bonus, though street parking was usually available nearby if needed. The neighborhood has some steep hills (classic Manayunk), so keep that in mind for dog walks—but overall, it was manageable and pleasant. Street noise wasn’t an issue for us, but there’s a noise machine provided just in case. We appreciated that thoughtful touch. We’re originally from the area and would definitely stay here again—comfortable, convenient, and true to its listing.

As a travel nurse, I try to be very cautious in regards to where I stay and I can absolutely say I felt safe and comfortable at this rental. The hosts were very kind and the area is quiet and beautiful with ample parking. I would definitely book a stay at this location again.

The street was very quiet and we felt safe walking there in the evening. The house is set up nicely for a couple. The patio area was an extra bonus for the evening with comfortable couch and fireplace. We visit Philadelphia frequently and we will stay with Stacie again if her place is available.

Looks exactly like the pictures. Big enough for 5 of us. Beds were VERY comfortable, clearly expensive mattresses. Comfortable upscale bedding. Lots of closet space.

I booked a room last minute and arrived late in the evening, and Marina STILL made me and my partner feel welcome from the moment we arrived until checking out. She was very hospitable and the effort she put in to make our stay as comfortable as possible was palpable. The place is clean, the host is lovely, and it feels like home.

This spot is in a perfect location for Philly and NJ. I easily drove to downtown Philly on the days I went there and getting to my friends homes in New Jersey was a breeze. It was exactly as described and perfect for me.

Ram was super accommodating to us, setting up a crib and highchair for our son, and even getting us batteries for his favorite toy.

Sarah's place was spotless and bright. Sarah was very friendly and responsive. It was a very peaceful location. The flat is close to SEPTA and about 5-10 mins from 2 cappucino spots and a fav sandwich place - Sunshine. We also loved Mia Ragazza which is about a 25 min walk and well worth it. Main Street Manayunk is cute. Good showerhead, FYI. :)

Anna and Warren were responsive before and after booking their place. They made sure to communicate how they could be reached if needed with any questions we had throughout our stay and were welcomimg of any feedback that can help them enhance guest experience. They provided clear instructions on where to find things and how to use everything within a welcome manual, that also included recommendations for places to visit, where to eat, etc.. This place is also incredibly accessible to major roadways, the city, Bucks and Montgomery counties. They keep a clean, airy, well lit, and stocked place. With little details of convenience and comfort throughout the apartment, like sound machines in each bedroom and a charging cable station in the living room, a shoe rack with bench and hooks by the entrance, and a well stocked kitchen. We had just about everything we needed to settle in and feel at home. 10/10 recommend and will be booking again if I ever find myself in the area!

Great location. Nice neighborhood. Unit offers everything you need. Upgraded very cool bathroom. Large bed. Easy walking to downtown area. Nice balcony to sit outside. Included a parking spot. We liked the unit and would stay again.

I have been using Airbnb for a while now and Roberta's place was by far the cleanest place I have stayed. It was also beautiful and exactly as described. Her and her husband were awesome and responded quickly whenever we contacted them! I would highly recommend. The only drawback of the space was the bed was a bit awkward to get in and out of as it was against a wall but that was clearly explained in the description and was not a problem for us however someone elderly or handicapped may have difficulty. Also parking in the area is at a premium but we were very lucky, found a spot right out front! Overall you can't do any better than this place!

Recommend! It was our time in Philly going to a concert at The Mann. Location was convenient for venue, and price was fair for the two nights we stayed. Not the best area and parking was challenging since it’s all just neighbor street parking, but manageable. Driving distance was good for downtown Philly or department store shopping etc. Andrew was a great host and made sure we had all we needed. Would stay again if in the area!

This Hewitt is a history lover's dream. If you enjoy Victorian history, architecture, and antiques, you're going to love this place. The period accurate furniture, the 1906 Victrola, and the antique typewriter are stunning. I also enjoyed learning more about the history and ownership of the home via the Google devices in each room. The secret room hidden behind the bookcase is one of the coolest things I've experienced at an airbnb-- the apt is worth it for that experience alone! Aside from the gorgeous interior, the apt itself is pretty quiet. You'll occasionally hear the dog barking outside or a loud car passing by, but not often. The neighborhood is also lovely to walk around filled with more history. There are stunning Victorians all around the area, which makes walking around to discover them a treat. There are also house museums you can visit. Overall, the Hewitt is a must-visit at least once, but I'm already thinking about the next time I can go.

Rob and Amanda have the cutest place in the sweetest old neighborhood in Manayunk. I would have loved to stay longer, but I was here for work and only got two nights. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the area. This place is definitely a deal, and so comfortable! The front stairs were a bit sketchy to bring a roll bag up, but just watch your footing. I’ll definitely be back.

Great property for an active family on the road.

If you are looking for a good central location, that’s the perfect choice. The beautiful apartement is like a 5 star hotel. It looks very luxurious, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the whole apartement is spotlessly clean. You can also find several parking options for a good price if you arrive by car. I will definitely book again if I’m visiting Philly.

Great place to stay, looks just like the photos, and is a great feel for the space. Water didn't get as hot as I would like but still gets to a nice temperature. If getting there later in the day, plan to look for parking as it is all street parking. Availability for parking was within a block or so, which was fine. Overall great night's stay!

This was my second stay at Hala's in as many weeks. Just as wonderful as the first time! See my review from last week, nothing has changed, still excellent!

Overall we had a great experience. We did have a little one and with it having stairs and promoting that it has baby equipment, I would've expected there to be some gate to also ensure safety for the little ones, but we were able to manage by just blocking it off with a chair. Location was good, not too far from major attractions, 8-15mins. Parking is on the street so sometimes it was full and we had to keep circling around until we found parking, but pretty typical in the city. Very comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay.

This is my second time staying in this apartment and it was just as great as I remembered. Really nice well stocked kitchen as far as cooking materials go and appliances. Also, very comfortable bed, and it’s a nice quiet place with secure parking. Highly recommend and will probably stay there again.

Danni's place offered a relaxing stay for my family of four (including toddler & infant). Her responsiveness before & during the trip was greatly appreciated, as were her clear instructions & city guide. The home offers up multiple places to congregate after a day of touring the city -- the rooftop in particular was lovely even if the weather didn't cooperate. The kitchen was functional and came with a nice welcome basket that my children loved. I also really appreciated the baby items -- gates for the staircases, all outlets covered, toys, a crib, pack n' play, and baby bath. These amenities made it an easy decision to forgo a hotel and made our packing a bit easier too! Fairmount is a walkable neighborhood with plenty of food & coffee options, as well as on-street parking. Hope to visit again soon!
