Holiday rentals with beach access in Northeast Italy

My husband and I visited Cinque Terre during our honeymoon and stayed at Leonardo’s place. Watching the sunsets from the patio truly made our trip. Leonardo was very helpful with his directions and we were sooo happy we choose his place to stay. We had a lot of luggage and there were some stairs from the train station to his place. We managed fine but he also gave us a name and number for a luggage service. I would suggest using the luggage service if you are not in the best shape.

This is by far the best place we have styed in. Eros was very welcoming and helpful and place was gorgeous and so clean. The view is fantastic and well equipped with everything. We will definitely come back and we really appreciate all the tips and help we got from the hosts. Overall fantastic experience, you will definitely be impressed.

Fabio was a great host. He was very proactive, to the point of telling about a train strike the day we were suppose to arrive. He allowed us to get in early and checked in with us several times to make sure we were doing well. This is a great place to stay. The view was spectacular. We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing disappointing is that we did not stay here longer. what a wonderful retreat away from hustle and bustle of the cities. Truly a retreat. We immediately came in dropped our bags and fell asleep on the sun chairs while taking in the peaceful scenery. Do yourself a favor and do not listen to people when they say you can do Lake Como area in 2 days. Stay a while and enjoy the peaceful nature and definitely stay here.

I don't know what to say.... The whole thing was perfect. Entering through the gate with the car and seeing our beautiful little yard, surrounded by a jasmine hedge and full of flowers shaded by olive trees right on the lakefront was amazing. In the apartment, the windows that looked right out onto the lake made it feel like there was a living painting... with sound when we left the window open. I would like to address the low ceilings in bedroom and bathroom. It is true, they are low and we are tall so we did have to duck a bit at the head of the bed and in the toilet area but it was COMPLETELY fine. The kitchen was quite well equipped and we made a bunch of lovely meals there. It was a beautiful walk along a sidewalk but then mostly along the beautiful lakefront promenade into town and we walked a few times a day with no difficulty to the ferry, the grocery store, the lungolago. Best of all was Giampaolo's mom who was AMAZING as was her strudel. A beautiful lady!!!! Perfect!

WOW. This is a great flat. It’s even better than the photos. The view is priceless. Alessandra is a great host. She is proactive. She initiated the contacts to make sure everything is Okay. She gave us recommendations regarding restaurants and places to visit. She even gave is delicious biscuits made by her Mother. I would recommend this place for anyone wants to relax in lake Como. I shall visit this place again. Thank you Alessandra and Andrea.

Genoa was a real discovery and Boccadasse a wonderful, lively and dynamic village. Luisella's house is perfectly matching the photos, very clean and well structured. Nothing is missing. The double windows completely block out the evening noise. The view is truly enchanting, you feel at home!! Luisella is a very helpful and extremely kind host. Thank you very much

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was beautiful and the view was spectacular. She gave very good directions with photos of the way to get there. We enjoyed every minute there!

Great location right in the middle of all the action in a cute small popular town. we loved having the balcony to enjoy the view during the stay. The beach right in front of the house does get crowded during the day and night. We didn't mind it at all and enjoyed it but something to consider if you are traveling in the high season and want more privacy.

We had the best time at Lorena, Carlo and Nicola’s place! The view is absolutely stunning, even better than the photos. The porch and garden are spacious and luxurious. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need and the bed is super comfortable. Everything within the apartment is good quality - Lorena, Carlo and Nicola have thought of everything! They are very friendly and helpful, and even treated us to a delicious homemade lasagna and tiramisu on our first night, which was so appreciated after a big day of travel. Carlo also drove us to the ferry station on our last morning so we didn’t have to walk with our luggage. Thank you so much Lorena, Carlo and Nicola!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I was happy to be able to eat delicious and fresh strawberries. The surrounding environment was very peaceful and nice. The bathroom wasn't cramped, and it was in good condition.

Everything went very well, Lola welcomed and accompanied us, the contact went very well. The village is beautiful and the location of the apartment by the water is very relaxing. The small terrace overlooking the sea was very pleasant. We hope to be back very soon.

Such an amazing place right at the lake side, so peaceful & beautiful. Apartment was clean, tidy, very bright, we enjoyed big windows. Chirping of the birds early morning while having coffee on the terrace was music for our ears. We celebrated mini honeymoon here & did not regret. Only thing we regret is not staying longer. Paola met us for check in and was extremely helpful from the moment we booked the trip even after checkout when our plane ride to Milan cancelled last minute she helped us find new transportation. The space is beautiful and close to everything!

Wow! We have fallen in love with Varenna! We are so happy that we booked Marco and Syliva's wonderful apartment who were very welcoming! A breathtaking (beyond words or photos) view awaits you in the apartment. Everything was as pictured and even better. The terrace outside was an extra bonus! Large and private with an incredible view of course. The beds were very, very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless - good size, all the amenities and the shower was very nice with good water pressure and hot water. The apartment is up the hill from the ferry and quiet and peaceful. A short walk (5 min) brings you into the main square of the town. Varenna is small, so everything is close. Restaurants amazing! Al Prato and il Cavatappi were great! The Monastery & Villa Capressi - gorgeous! We took a boat ride. We toured other amazing villas too. Plenty of room for me and my husband & our adult daughter. The balcony makes the place. The ever changing view of the harbor with boats coming and going is something you could sit and watch all day. But because Porto Venere is so beautiful and walkable, you’ll want to do that instead. The sunset and sky are spectacular.

I stayed in this beautiful apartment with friends to celebrate an important milestone. The view from the house is absolutely spectacular and falling asleep with the swaying of the sea was unique. Lovely lakeside views, calm and peaceful; these are hard to beat. We were treated to chilled prosecco and enough coffee pods to get us through a couple days! Our host provided perfect video instruction to get in so we had the flexibility to arrive when we wanted. The space was bright in the common areas and muted in the bedroom area for sleeping. Plus two bathrooms with new showers, very well apportioned. (Remember to bring soap or body wash as it was not supplied) Drive to Bellagio less than 15 minutes—the roads in the area are windy and a bit narrow but we got used to it. We ate out but the kitchen was well set up with utensils.

We booked because another guest's review said "just go for it" and I would offer the same advice to others. We had a great time enjoying coffee & wine on the terrace while watching boat traffic on the Grand Canal. Although there are Vaporetto stops nearby, we walked almost everywhere we went and it was great to explore the neighborhood. For a quiet night in, stop by Fried Land (just around the corner) for excellent take-out pasta.

We had a wonderful stay, great location, modern amenities, everything you need. Beach only 5 min away, great shopping, great pool. Markus was always available and was very helpful the whole time

Simply a wonderful place to stay! The apartment is beautifully situated with stunning views of the bay. It is exactly as it looks in the photos! Luca was an exceptional host - extremely helpful and responsive, there is nothing he could have done better. The property is well appointed and a tranquil refuge on this stunning coastline. I cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be back!
