If you like Quiet, clean, comfortable, walks, good village pub, every where an easy drive from Scotton….You will love this cottage. We had a lovely relaxing time here our Whippet loved it also. Holly & Alastair are excellent hosts, we would definitely recommend staying here.

Really cosy place, awesome decor and a huge bed. Would love to visit in winter to make use of the fireplaces (the weather was too good this weekend!) Hot tub was great and pizza oven fantastic. Thanks for having us!

Our second time at the gorgeous Preston Mill Loft and it was just as wonderful as we remember. Super dog friendly, the upgraded hot tub is IMMENSE, comfy bed, welcoming hosts, beautiful scenery, well stocked kitchen. The lot. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at this property. The local surroundings are beautiful and the house was clean and very well equipped. The hot tub was a nice addition and communication with our host was excellent from start to finish. I would happily recommend a stay here :)

We have just returned from a few nights away staying at this little piece of paradise. If you’re after a tranquil, relaxing holiday then this is the place to stay. From the house itself, to the spectacular views , the amazing pool house and the lovely, friendly neighbours, this place ticks all the boxes and more. Highly recommend visiting The Queens Arms for a meal (or just a cheeky drink), the staff are so friendly and just made our time away extra special. Malham is only a 20 min (ish) drive away and is stunning (a must see). The only thing I would advise is to make sure you take plenty of supplies (or do an online shop for delivery as we did) as the local shop is a 20min drive away. Thankyou again David, we will definitely be back.

We had the most beautiful stay — the cottage was peaceful, private, and instantly felt like home. Everything was spotless and smelt amazing, with such a lovely, calming vibe throughout. The decor was gorgeous, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch for a truly relaxing weekend. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful details like fresh eggs in the morning and chocolates waiting for us on arrival. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish. You can really feel the care and effort put into every part of the stay. I’d absolutely recommend this place — it’s a little gem, and I’d love to return!

Stayed for a couple of nights to explore the Dales. Lovely, cute cottage with everything you’d need. Private garden was ideal for the dog to stretch his legs and some fantastic walks literally from the doorstep. Carole was always on hand for advice and local knowledge! Would definitely come back and stay again

The cottage was exactly what was listed and what we were looking for. The Host was always responsive and friendly with many helpful details. Wow! What a fantastic place to stay. The cottage was a perfect haven for a relaxing holiday. The scenery was breathtaking, and we spent much of the time gazing out of the window at the dramatic weather and wildlife. We wished we could have stayed longer! Wonderful place with the comfiest bed ever. Such Wonderful views. watching the swallows. Everything we needed for a couple of nights. Would have loved some milk in the fridge but not too far to local farm shop to stock up.

Just had the cosiest stay at Triangle Cottage! Very tastefully decorated, the comfiest bed and the dreamy rolled top bath with the views made it all the more relaxing! It had everything I needed for a wee retreat with my dog in the countryside. Perfect walkable distance to the city centre and various hikes around. Strongly recommend!

We had a lovely time, explored the local village, as well as short car drives to Helmsley and Thirsk. The cottage was spotless, with comfortable beds, quality bedding and extremely well equipped kitchen. A peaceful garden with fabulous views. We enjoyed caring for the chickens who rewarded us with eggs. Thank you Faron.

Tucked away, in a quiet corner of Haworth, five minutes walk from the bottom end of the main street, the cottage, was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. With plenty to do in the area, the cottage is within ten minutes walk of Haworth's pubs and restaurants, and about 15 minutes from the Bronte Parsonage Museum, at the top of the hill. We parked up, right outside the cottage, when we arrived, and walked everywhere over our weekend's stay.

We had a great stay in Hawes, the house had everything we needed. Hawes and surrounding areas are beautiful. Diane left some suggestions of things to do and we did the waterfall in Hardraw, and the highest inn in England, both fantastic.

Our family (2 adults, 1 two year old and 1 six month old had a fantastic stay at Imagine. The house is amazing and the surroundings beautiful. Our two year old daughter absolutely loved the model village street and we all spent hours playing in the miniature shops. The garden is large with a stunning view and brilliant play fort with slide, see saw and large swing. All of which got a lot of play during our stay. The location of the house is great. There are lots of fun activities to do nearby or with a short drive. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we found plenty of great food shops in the area. Julie and all of the people we met on site were really friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. We would highly recommend Imagine and look forward to going again.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful barn before a family wedding. Wendy was kind enough to allow the bride and her entourage to get ready in the spacious living area, offering up her garden for photographs. Nothing was too much trouble and a few issues were dealt with swiftly. Highly recommended for a peaceful, countryside stay in glorious surroundings.

What an absolute find. A beautifully refurbished and fitted cottage, immaculately presented and ready for us. The welcome hamper was indeed very welcome. If you are into alpacas, this is a great place to stay as Deborah and Nicky are experts. It’s a great place for accessing the north York moors and coming back to a quiet and restful night (the bed was super comfy). Deborah and Nicky were extremely welcoming and always available. We’ve been to many AirBNB places and can honestly say this is the best one yet. 10/10.

High View cottage was wonderful with beautiful quiet surroundings and spectacular views. Margaret and Ron were very friendly and helpful, the cakes left by Margaret were a lovely treat. Not too much to do locally so need a car unless you just want to get away and chill out. Wonderful place and wonderful people, would highly recommend.

Beautiful traditional little cottage tucked away on a quiet road. The cosiest living room you've ever seen (can imagine it's magical at Christmas time), with lovely cottage decor and furnishings throughout. Very dog friendly house with thoughtful bits for our dog who was very happy sniffing around in the garden. Kitchen and bathroom have everything you need, even proper sized towels, which is a rarity in an Airbnb these days. Very comfy bed and so quiet we all slept well! Would absolutely recommend to anyone that loves quintessential English cottage vibes.

Oh my goodness, this place is a dream! We had the best stay here, the cottage is just beautiful!! The views, hot tub, facilities and just everthing creates the most amazing stay. Catherine was absolutely fantastic at messaging us and being super responsive :) Honestly cannot recommend this place enough…
