our stay at staycation cottages in bakewell was lovely. the love nest Lodge was very quaint and well equipped. the bathroom was especially layed out nicely. I enjoyed the access to the football playing area, pool area and the swimming pool. we used the bbq area once and made full use of the boot room for leaflets and information for our stay would definitely return back

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Family reunion over a long weekend. House was ideal for our needs (4 adult couples+one single adult). The layout is very convivial but affords lots of privacy for sleeping/showering. We made abundant use of the outdoor seating plus the gas barbecue. Area is great for walking, National Trust properties etc. No shops in Osgathorpe itself but an easy 10 minute drive to nearest supermarket. Walkable foodie pub about half an hour away over fields. House is very new, clean and well equipped. Stunning floor to ceiling windows and doors let in beautiful light at all times. Lots of parking and very peaceful. Thank you Lucy! Just what we needed. Highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely family break at Caroline’s Lodge. The setting is beautiful and we really enjoyed the access to, otherwise, private land for lovely walks and visiting Staunton Harold courtyard. The lodge itself had everything we needed. It is very comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with plenty of crockery and utensils for 6 people. Many thanks for the welcome cake and bottle of wine in the fridge they were a lovely touch which we appreciated. We have had family breaks like this over the last three years and Caroline’s place is the best so far. We would love to return.

The Whitwick property was a perfect example of an English country cottage with all of the modern conveniences. When we first walked into the house it had the essential period features, a warm comfortable lounge, that led into a lovely dining room then onto a modern country kitchen with period features. The property had two lovely bathrooms and very comfortable upstairs bedrooms. There was a parking space on site and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Great pubs and a co-op store for all of your needs, was just a short dive away. The property also had a generous garden with lawn, outdoor dining area and pretty plants that attracted bumble bees. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Whitwick property.

Lovely spacious house, spotlessly clean with everything we needed for the few days we were there. Had a lovely time and would reccomend to others 😊

This is my second stay here and it was just as good as the first (apart from the weather being so warm). Clear instructions from the owner and really easy to gain access. I will 100% stay again if available.

We have a lovely stay at Jolly Cottage, and loved the quirky decor. Communication was great and everything was very smooth. Melbourne is a beautiful place with really nice shops, bars and restaurants. Can also highly recommend the nearby Breedon Priory Spa. Thanks for a brilliant weekend stay 😊

I absolutely loved the cottage. My whole stay there was all I hoped it would be and more.From arriving it felt like home so Cosy and quiet with lovely neighbours .I am definitely booking for next year.Shackerstone is "my Happy place"I wish I had made my visit much sooner.Going back to my roots brought joy to my soul.Being able to stay in your dear little cottage was the icing on the cake I couldn't have found anywhere better to stay in. One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at! Jane was a lovely host, so responsive and helpful, and had thought of everything! Property was spotless and well stocked, especially the kitchen which had everything you could need. All beds were very comfortable, showers and bath were fabulous! We stayed with our three year old and one year old, the house is very child friendly and baby safe. Location is ideal for the short walk to Tutbury and for drives around the local area. Would absolutely stay again, highly recommend.

Stayed previously but since returning the property has been decorated and a new shower put in place. This accommodation was perfect for my stay whilst away for work.

Well what can I say… if I could give 100 stars I would! Phillipa was amazing. She was so helpful and supportive to me organising my sisters low key hen do here. We had the most amazing time - the perfect cottage. We made friends with lambs, soaked in the hot tub, chilled and ate pies at the red lion! We really felt at home and it was so so special. Phillipa added so many personal touches and we even got to meet one of her little doggies Stanley. Phillipa we WILL be back! Thank you!!!!

We've just spent a great week exploring and walking this part of the Peak District - staying at Peter's wonderful home Saunters in Darley Dale. Everything about Saunters is perfect - perfect location, quiet and peaceful with wonderful views across the countryside from the lounge and conservatory. Saunters provides a spacious and comfortable home in which to relax and unwind.

Exactly what we needed for our visit to the nearby National Memorial Arboretum which is around 20 minutes drive away. Parking area very handy, and a short drive to a huge Sainsburys in case you forgot something. Lovely countryside on the doorstep.

Amazing little place to stay if you’re around Donington or Derby for the weekend. Clean, modern and tidy with a good bus link to the city centre. Just note the entrance to the driveway is a little steep.

My employees stayed at Luxs property as a home away from home for a work trip. Lux was helpful and friendly, always proactive with responses and very accommodating. The property is great value for money, easy check in, nice & clean. Thanks again Lux, will definitely book again if in the area
