Little Acorn - Shepherds Hut/Lodge - 5* Cyfie Farm

NickRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

The Meadow Cabin ... comfort & tranquillity

JoanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Meadow cabin is an amazing, peaceful , tranquil and truly relaxing space. It had everything you needed! Comfortable bed, we had great sleeps. All you needed for cooking and making drinks. Well designed cabin with lots of little quirky touches, everything was perfect! Showers were warm and close by! Poo house was interesting 🤣 The surrounding spaces were all clean well maintained and welcoming. Beautiful cafe and small shop. Loved the veg gardens too! And wild meadows. Overall we had a very restful and peaceful 2 nights stay, highly recommend!

The Bothy, a stone built cottage, Bishop's Castle

Ms Pauline RosamundRating, 5 starstoday
A restful and relaxing two nights in the little Acton Bothy. Nina made us very welcome and then slipped away to give us privacy. The beautifully modernised Bothy had all mod cons without losing the ‘quaintness’ of the building. The weather was wonderful for early June, allowing us to sit outside and absorb the amazing views while having a cuppa or a glass of wine. We’ll be back for a longer more active break.

Peaceful Garden Pod

EthanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had an amazing New Year’s stay in Bryan’s cozy pod cabin. It exceeded all our expectations. The cabin was warm, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in this peaceful spot. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains and sea. One highlight was sitting under the stars watching the Northern Lights by the fire, an unforgettable experience. Aberdaron village is nearby, with a café and shop, but far enough for complete tranquility. We explored nearby spots, including Traeth Porthor for a beach walk, Braich Anelog for scenic mountain views of the Irish Sea, and Mynydd Mawr, where we watched a perfect sunset over Bardsey Island. Bryan was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The check-in was simple, and his communication made everything seamless. This trip was the perfect mix of relaxation and nature. We’re already planning to return in the summer. We highly recommend

Peaceful Countryside Shepherd’s Hut Conwy

RobertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a lovely place this was. It is tucked away on a working farm so it is outside of the main town of Conwy however the what3words location was perfect as it took us to the top of the drive. Everything was exactly as described and we had a very pleasant stay. We were even greeted by one of the dogs there. Would happily stay there again.

Cosy rural 1 bedroom cottage with views & patio

KellyRating, 5 starstoday
Nigel was an absolutely amazing host. He couldn't have done more for us if he tried. the accomodation was immaculate and spotless with every amenity that you could think of, even to the point he bought his own air fryer to us to use. Nigel provided us with easy instructions of how to get there even greeting us at the gate with a warm welcome. Nigel is very knowledgeable about the local and surrounding areas pointing us in the right direction of things to do. The area and the views from the property were amazing and it was so quiet ,private and peaceful. The welcome package that Nigel provided was of excellent quality which consisted if fresh hen eggs, Fresh bottled milk. Fresh bread, tea, coffee, sugar and marmalade. Thoughtful touches like a towel to dry the dogs poop bags and a torch were very welcomed. We can't thank Nigel enough and would highly recommend this stay to all. we intend on returning as we didn't want to leave and miss it already.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sean’s place! From the moment we arrived, Sean was a brilliant host—welcoming, attentive, and full of great local tips. The property was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Sean went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, and his communication was quick and helpful throughout. Modern hut, large garden,10mins from Abersoch

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is our second visit to Meleri's shephards Hut. When we walked in it was spotless and smelt so fresh. We felt so relaxed and at home. Meleri supplies everything you need for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are out of this world and the walk up the moutain which is just behind the hut takes your breath away. Meleri has done an amazing job keeping the Hut immaculate. The shephards hut is only a short drive away from Abersoch and the beach is fab if you want a little stroll. We can not wait to come back.

Luxury pod in a rural setting with private hot tub

SharathRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Camland Valley Luxury Pods! The pod was spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed. The hot tub and views were absolutely perfect. A huge shoutout to Alwena, our amazing host—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely one of the kindest people we’ve met. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even offered us a late checkout, which we really appreciated. Her hospitality made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend!

Relax in nature at this deluxe Snowdonia home

NatalieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely loved it! We stayed at Maxwell’s place for a couple of nights and had a fabulous time. The cottage itself was very clean and comfortable and had loads of really cool art/decor. My dad was taking part in a local ultra race, so the bath tub was very much appreciated after a long day in the hills. Maxwell was a fantastic, friendly host that checked in on us to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We felt very well looked after. 100% will be back! 😊

5* Shepherds Hut in Betws-y-coed - mountain views

JodyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
what a stunning location to relax in. A beautiful cabin facing Snowdon with nothing but sprawling countryside as far as the celebration can see. The cabin had everything we needed and Hellie had also provided us with milk, butter, a birthday cake card and balloon for my sister plus homemade bread, jam & peanut butter! A few minutes drive from beautiful Betws-y-coed, we spent Saturday afternoon there exploring and drove to Llangollen in the morning to canoe over the aqueduct. On Sunday after checking out, we drove to Llandudno for a 6 mile hike of Great Orme. With so much to see & do, it's difficult not to have an amazing break in North Wales. Staying in this shepherd's hut was just the icing on the cake.

Caban y cwm

ClaudiuRating, 5 starstoday
The best holiday we ever had in The UK in 10 years we've been here. We celebrated our 2 years relationship anniversary and we enjoyed every single second spent here! Alphie, our 7 years old Huksy also had a great time! We managed to do a lot of walking, hiking and even found lots of blueberries up the mountain. Stunning location, nice little stream, amazing hot tub, comfy bed, very clean kitchen with everything we needed & a hot shower. Couldn't be more perfect! Highly recommend all year round to everyone who loves nature & peace.

"Lle Mary" Shepherds hut Nr Barmouth views Hot tub

ClaireRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Perfect location, just as described and the perfect spot to relax and unwind - so peaceful and beautiful. I spent every evening on the patio watching the sun go down over the sea, listening to the birds and seeing the bats play. Everything you need is there. It's the best of both worlds - quiet and you feel remote yet only 10 mins max from the beach. Everything was really secure for the dog too - no having to check where she was every 2 mins which meant I could totally relax. Samantha explains everything really clearly which made finding the place, working the hot tub etc a breeze - all really important if you're staying there on your own. She comes back to you really quickly and was a great host.
