Turid and Hans have a gem with their "cabin" - a cozy place with lots of artwork, well equipped kitchen and magnificent views on the fjord and mountains of Ringvasoya. They made us feel like at home and were very responsive to any requests we had. What they couldn't control was the weather, but especially in bad weather the living room with the comfy couch, its many windows and the new sauna with the spectacular view offer perfect distraction and make even a rainy day to a relaxing and rewarding experience. One day we even saw dolphins swim by. Lots of candles and the wood fire in the oven created the perfect atmosphere to wind down from our busy job lives. Thanks for renting this personal space to us.

Super place and great location

Absolutely stunning location - we didn’t want to leave!… The cabin is super cosy, warm with lots of space. Really great place to relax and unwind and appreciate the gorgeous surroundings. The cabin was spotless with traditional decor and the facilities at the cabin were great (for a couple or a family) Yngve was the perfect host - always a quick response and happy to help with anything. He sent perfect instructions. It was really easy to find the cabin (40 minutes from Tromso centre) and check-in was a breeze. Yngve also helped with great recommendations of places to visit and restaurants etc We felt very safe, warm and welcome. The absolute cherry on top was the hot tub - fabulous under the stars and trees!! We would go back in a heart beat Love this place

A friend of ours recommended this amazing cabin to us. I had never stayed in such an outstanding accomodation. It's perfect for those seeking relaxation in beautiful nature or a departure point for unforgettable skitours in the Lyngen Alps. Or both things in the same time as in our case :)

Dear Anne, thank you very much for having us! We have stayed at Anne’s house for almost two weeks and with two different companies: first with friends and then with my husband’s parents. We had amazing time both times. The best things about the house: 1. The view is incredible. Having your first cup of coffee with this view is priceless 2. The house is right on the ski slopes. We could ski in/ski out, making it easy to go ski even for a short period of time 3. The jacuzzi is amazing. We used it sometimes during the sunset time and sometimes late at night for Aurora watching 4. You can see Auroras right from the living room and the jacuzzi is really the best for watching them since you don’t get cold 5. This is the best stocked house I have ever stayed at - it had everything. We could really feel that it’s Anne’s second home, not just a rental house Anne is great as a host as well: friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and had the best time!

We had a fantastic time here! The cabin was gorgeous and perfect location for exploring ! With some lovely hikes right on the doorstep! There was everything you needed in the cabin, and the sauna was a big bonus, it got used most days! You do need a car as there isn't anything local, which was perfect for us, as we wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday! Would highly recommend and already planning on coming back one day! This place truly feels like a family home not only is it warmly furnished, but it also has a beautiful soul. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt completely at ease and instantly at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered from batteries and pens to board games and a variety of candles. These may seem like small things, but when you’re staying in a home for a while, they become surprisingly essential. Their presence speaks volumes about the host’s kindness and hospitality. Everything was exactly as described.The key system, the dishwasher, the oven, the stove all easy to use and clearly explained. The house was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. After our intense trip to Svalbard, with its stunning Northern Lights and breathtaking nature, this home gave us the perfect place to rest and recharge both physically and emotionally. Thank you so much. We truly hope to return someday. With love.

A good place to stay

Really great cabin its much better than photos, very comfortable and well equipped. The views are amazing beautiful mountains and fjord views, and i was surprised that there were a powerful and amazing waterfall right next to the cabin. The cabin location is the best location, here you can start the best epic hikes in the area, also if you need the center of Tromso its a very short drive. Rita is an amazing host it was a pleasure meeting her, she was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I wish i could stayed more and i will definitely visit again.

The cabin is perfectly located in the cabin area, sheltered at the end of a road and with a lovely view. The cabin contains everything you could need to have a great stay, the kitchen is richly equipped, large TV to watch movies in the evening and bedrooms with good beds. The cabin is a great location for ski-in and ski-out and has a large porch with good sun conditions. Recommended!

Very pleasant stay, the accommodation totally matched our expectation to go skiing nearby. Nice and functional accommodation. Very nice view on the fjord with a beautiful indoor barbecue.

we had 3 wonderful days beginning of June 2025 at Daniella's lovely house, enjoyed every moment. It's a great and quiet area for hiking and other activities.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mariann’s cabin! It was incredibly cozy and had everything we needed. The view is breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the terrace, an unforgettable experience! Mariann was very responsive and shared plenty of great tips to help us make the most of the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!

I was allowed to stay at Bjørn's Airbnb 2 years ago and fell in love with the house and surroundings. I would claim that Bjørn owns one of the nicest Airbnb on this platform. But not only the house and the breathtaking view of the fjord but also the extremely friendly hospitality of Bjørn makes this place so special.

Great Hosts, great accommodation! Only thing to keep in mind is that with an EV the next charging station is about half an hour away.

We spent two very pleasant nights at Trine and Stine's place. The location is perfect for relaxing and fishing. We were also able to use the sauna and hot tub for a fee. Especially the sauna with the view of the fjord was a special experience for us. Unfortunately, we did not find the folding sofa (only sleeping option) so comfortable, but these sofas have that on them. We would definitely come again on our next visit.
