Cute cottage in the heart of South Park, a fabulous neighborhood in San Diego. The cottage is full of charm, and even though the cottage is located behind the main house, it is very private and quiet. There's even a great outdoor space for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. The cottage is two short blocks from the center of South Park where there are great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutiques, and even a gym. We stayed in the cottage for two weeks and had a wonderful time. Amy is an amazing host. She's so sweet and kind and really makes you feel at home. The only downside is that parking can sometimes be an issue, but the neighborhood is very safe and we didn't mind walking.

We had a fantastic experience at this spot! Our group of 5 was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail in the design. The kitchen was well-equipped with more than just the basics, making it perfect for self-catering. Our host was super responsive and accommodating, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. The location was also incredibly convenient. We'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting San Diego – it's a great choice!

We can't say enough about the home. With nature right at your front door, you feel like you are miles away from the rest of the world. But with North Park restaurants and bars just around the corner, you can have a great night out and come back to the sound of chirping birds. Hendrick is a great host a his place is a little slice of paradise.

I really enjoyed my stay. This was my first solo trip, and Jason made me feel right at home. The place is stunning. The neighborhood is very safe and charming. I walked everywhere, and I didn’t have any issues. Though I didn’t say downtown, I can only imagine being in North Park is soooo much better. Not a lot of noise, traffic, or people ( unless you’re looking for people ). There were a lot of coffee shops, bars, and shopping in the area as well.

Charming North Park Cottage with Private Backyard

We had a great time in North Park. The house was very comfortable and the backyard was great to unwind or play with the dog. The house had a well stocked kitchen with actually sharp cooking knives! The area was great to walk around and close enough to restaurants and shops. The area itself is bustling so there was a little street noise but nothing annoying. The hosts were helpful and responsive but didn't interrupt our stay. We would absolutely stay there again.
