Urban Chic Guesthouse with Private Patio

Embrace the blissful ambiance of this quaint residence. The separate unit is situated behind an iconic Craftsman home and features an open-plan living area, neutral tones, contrasting textures, and an outdoor dining area. Perfect for a couple desiring a cozy, local experience in sunny San Diego. Due to the corona virus, we have enhanced cleaning and check-out procedures for the safety of our guests and cleaning team. This newly renovated guest house is cozy and perfect for a quick weekend getaway for a small group or young family, or a longer stay for one or two individuals. The guest house does not share walls with, but is adjacent to another guest house. We live onsite at the main front house, so we can easily give you tips about the neighborhood. We have a Ring doorbell looking out to the central courtyard from the entrance, for your safety. Check in: automatic, door codes will be provided with the reservation. Master Bedroom: Sleeps 2. Casper, queen-sized bed with goose down comforter. High quality cotton sheets. Bathroom is accessible only through the bedroom. Has AC, black out shades and curtains. Reading lights on each side. Closet has hangers and a luggage rack. Does not have a TV. Kitchen: New lighting and cabinets, equipped for cooking and eating for 4. Comes with pots and pans, microwave, oven, stove, fridge, freezer, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. A Brita water filter is included. Carbon monoxide detector is here. Living Area: Has a pullout sofa (sleeping for two, one queen, memory foam bed). For your entertainment, we have a 49 inch 4K TV with Netflix and HBO, as well as a Google Mini with Spotify access. Also has two side tables and a console table. Note: the daybed in the picture has since been replaced as of 11/2018. The new queen sized pullout bed has a memory foam mattress and sleeps two. We think its more comfortable than its predecessor. We are working on getting a new picture of the living area. Eating/Working Area: Space for two. Pub table with two stools. Has two port fast charging station (USB cords available upon request). Washer/dryer is in closet adjacent to this area. Tide Pods are included. Bathroom: Private en-suite bathroom to the master. Has a shower, new Kohler toilet and new 36 inch vanity. Patio: Enjoy the SD sunshine with your personal patio. Comes with 4 chairs and a table, with a cantilever, crank umbrella. Fenced off for privacy. Guests have access to their own guesthouse, laundry facilities, kitchenette, private patio table and chairs, high-speed wireless internet (mesh WiFi, 4K TV, Google Mini with Spotify, and more. The guest house is small, but well-equipped. There's a first aid kit, hair dryer, toiletries, towels, Kuerig Coffee maker, and a lot more. If you need anything else just ask us and we'll do our best to get it for you! We are super flexible with how much you care to interact. This is on your terms and also if we are around the same time you are. (we both work 9-5 and are occasionally out of town ). Every interaction is unique! Feel free to reach out and talk to us if you like (we are only a few steps away at the main house) or just mind your own business... And never, EVER hesitate to let us know how we can improve your stay! North Park is one of San Diego's trendiest neighborhoods. The property is in a quiet residential area away from the hustle and bustle. It is a 7-minute walk to 30th Street and 15 minutes to a plethora of coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants. It is also a 5-minute drive to Balboa Park/San Diego zoo, 10-minute drive to the Gaslamp/downtown and 15-minute drive to Coronado beach. There are tons of dining and entertainment options within the immediate area. So you could easily walk the entire time. Outside of this, you can take an electric scooter for shorter trips (usually available nearby), bike, Lyft or rent a car. There is readily available street parking nearby. Please let us know of any special accommodations you need.
