House holiday rentals in North Hertfordshire District

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

We had 2 nights at Kristians house Was perfect location for us as we were spending our time in London Close to train station Plenty of places to eat Lovely quiet location, the house was beautiful with so much space Would highly recommend and book myself again

South rectory is an amazing place to stay. It’s hidden behind gates and an impressive drive. It feels very grand and country estate but is really close to motorways and Brentwood.. We spent more than a month there waiting for a house sale and loved it.. The owners were very friendly and responsive and even let my dogs out for me each day which was soo helpful.. I would recommend and go back x

Lovely home, felt very comfortable there- we had 4 children between 4 adults, and it felt like a lived in house- therefore we were not panicked about the children just being children!! The pool was a lovely temperature and our children enjoyed it thoroughly. House nice and warm, kitchen and lounge area which overlooks the swimming pool were a real hub of the home- a very nice space. All in all a great find for when we need to be in Hertfordshire! We would stay again.

Imane was very helpful and responsive. She was able to offer her place to us at very short notice after being very let down by another house on Airbnb. We were incredibly grateful to have our family holiday saved! The house was great with lots of space for 13 of us. The children loved the pool and garden area. It was also a great location and we spent an afternoon in Windsor and found some lovely pubs in the nearby area. I would recommend Imane as a great host.

Upon arrival Sally was there to greet us and give us a quick tour which was really helpful. The house itself is gorgeous - so spacious, perfect for a large group, and you want for nothing. The kitchen in particular is such an amazing socialising space - perfect for hosting! The Christmas decorations throughout were amazing and really made us feel at home and in the holiday spirit! All bedrooms were comfy, warm and spacious. We really enjoyed the pool table and darts. Everyone loved it! Location was so peaceful - countryside for miles but only a 10 min drive from Sandy station. Sally was super responsive throughout if we ever had any questions. And the cherry on top was the cuddliest cat Batman! We couldn’t have wished for a nicer place to spend Christmas with the family. Spent a lovely few days, we had planned to go out and about but we the grounds were so lovely we didn't need to. Lara was always available if we needed but we were left to ourselves to relax and enjoy the cottage and grounds. My kids want to go back already!

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse. It was bigger than we expected from the photos and very comfortable. Inside had everything we needed (and more!) including toys and games for the little ones and the gardens were just beautiful. We had lots of fun on the tennis courts! Lots in the area for young families. Hosts were very responsive whenever we had queries. Would recommend and would very happily stay again.

We have just spent a long weekend at Ashmi's lovely house with our children, their partners and our grandchildren. The house was well equipped for all our needs and the welcome pack was well received. We loved the hot tub which we used several times during our stay. We spent a day at Duxford Airfield which is literally 10 mins down the road. If I had to say anything that could be improved it would be that maybe a few more pillows could be provided as some of the group struggled with just one pillow each, but it certainly didn't affect our enjoyment. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a large house to spend time with either family or friends.

The house is beautifully decorated and appointed and in a very peaceful cul-de-sac location near Knebworth village. It has a nice private back garden with patio and bistro table and chairs. Great place for a morning coffee or afternoon cuppa. The kitchen is very well-equipped for self-catering. Louis was a very responsive and gracious host. It was a great stay and I look forward to staying again. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in the area.

lovely family home with all the utilities & equipment you could ever need. Alex was a very friendly & informative host. the house itself is within a 10 minute walk of the Old town which is lovely. We visited a couple of the pubs which were very nice. would definitely recommend to family & friends & wouldn't hesitate to stay again if visiting the area

Lovely place to stay! We had 3 actors stay here during their Panto season and it was great. They had ease checking in/and out. The stay was lovely, clean and spacious, just what they needed to relax!

Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house. It was the perfect place to get ready for our friends wedding that was taking place close by. The hot tub was a great addition and the outside space gave us a great location to have dinner in the first night.

For us the Tower was the ultimate family getaway. From Matthew’s initial welcome and history tour, to the eco and tech credentials, to the luxury bathing and kitchen facilities, to the super comfortable bed, to the fun laundry chute, to the ‘chatty’ handbook, to the panoramic living space, to the intoxicating vistas, it could not have been more perfect. The building instils a sense of harmony and ease, not least through being able to commune with nature on the roof terrace at 23m, (weather permitting, the hot tub is a must), but also because it hums with the pride that Matthew, Ali, Daisy and Poppy take in it and the joy of those who are lucky enough to share in it. Thank you from all of us.

Katrina’s place was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and both our dog and our child absolutely loved it—which says a lot! Katrina was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly flexible. Truly one of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered. The gardens are stunning—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and just perfect for relaxing. The area itself is also wonderful, with a lovely atmosphere and plenty to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience, everything worked smoothly, and there were no issues at all. The space was immaculate and welcoming, just as described, and we loved how comfortable and thoughtfully prepared everything was. Communication with the host was great, with quick responses and clear instructions. You can even message the lovely owner personally who accommodated a late check out for us. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The location couldn’t have been better, close to key tring (5 min drive) yet delightfully peaceful for a relaxing getaway. From the cleanliness to the seamless check-in, every detail was spot on. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect, hassle-free stay in Hastoe. We’d love to come back!

The best thing about my story was the host -Andy is fantastic and always responds quickly ; is very friendly and helpful . The house is in a beautiful peaceful rural location . It is on a main road -but don’t let that put you off -as it’s still very quiet . The house is well set up and was very clean . There’s a lovely lounge ; big kitchen and a lovely garden . The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils needed . There are 2 bathrooms -one upstairs with a separate shower -and one downstairs. There are 3 bedrooms-2 downstairs and 1 large bedroom upstairs with a very comfortable king size bed . The 2 bedrooms downstairs were also a good size . The beds downstairs had soft very mattresses which I personally didn’t find comfortable-but this is more of a personal choice as I prefer a firmer mattress . I stayed here to visit family in the local area -and whilst it is rural -it is still a convenient location for travelling. I would def recommend staying at Andy’s place .

Lovely loft space that has everything you need. Gorgeous views, place very clean and nice touches of eggs, milk, bread and fruit for breakfast. Plus towels and a bowl for our our dog with some treats. Amanda was very welcoming and friendly.

We stayed at Georgina's place for one night whilst visiting Harry Potter studios and watching Beyonce! It was great for a base to crash after a busy day. It had everything needed for a quick stopover, we appreciated the host's communication, the parking and how easy it was to find. My daughter enjoyed doing acrobatics in the ample back garden and reading a book from the library! A very thoughtful touch! Thanks Georgina!
