Kid-friendly holiday rentals in North Eleuthera

Thanks for letting us stay in the lovely one bedroom studio. Everything was clean and fresh. Just like the photographs. It was easy to communicate with June, she was super helpful. Responded within 4 hrs typically. The walk to Gaulding’s Cay beach is only 3 minutes from the cottage. The beach is gorgeous with crystal clear water in a lovely cove. We used the paddle boards a couple of times and went out to the big rock. Great swimming and super quiet. My husband wanted to fly fish, but no fish scene at this spot. I’d definitely recommend Daddy-Joes restaurant, Taco Tuesday. An easy walk from the cottage. Good food and more reasonable than other restaurants. Live music some evenings as well which was fun.

I can't say enough about La Concha and our host, Krista. The home is situated on the most beautiful and calm beach. We enjoyed finding shells, sand dollars, starfish, and tropical fish. While snorkeling a little bit down the beach my husband even found a sea urchin. My kiddos had a close encounter with a friendly stingray too. Receiver's Beach is simply incredible. The home was perfect for our family of 4. It was spotless and had lots of great amenities from beach towels to paper products, soaps, the most amazing shampoo and conditioner, beach chairs, yetis, and coolers. The beds were so comfortable making for very restful nights. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh flowers on the table and a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us. The caretaker, Kenel, was helpful and friendly when we needed a door fixed and assistance with our arrival. Krista was super responsive to the barrage of questions I had prior to our trip. We can't wait to come back!

We were blessed to go on this trip for my mom's 70th birthday and it did not disappoint! Jim & Mary were both incredibly helpful, communicative, and friendly and they have local support in the area to help you navigate your first day or so if needed. It is important to know that this location is not a tourist destination and you need to be ok driving, cooking, and enjoying their beautiful home and beach front property. The home is fully stocked with what you need to enjoy the water (paddleboards!) and to cook, sleep, and soak up the sunshine. The outdoor shower was a spa experience as you look out at the amazing lush yard. We highly recommend this unique, super-special stay in Eleuthera!

Beautiful house on bluff overlooking the sea. Nice porch where one can relax and enjoy the sea breeze and the view. Lovely interior design. Close to Surfer’s beach and Gaulding Cay. Easy day trip to Harbour Island or Governor’s Harbour. Good eats nearby at Daddy Joe’s and the Cove. Hope to stay here again.

This property is pure magic!!!! The photos don't do it justice. It's main feature is the incredible bluff with a wide vista of the ocean along with the incredible intimate lagoon where we snorkeled whenever we could. The array of fish and sea life in the lagoon was staggering. In one day we counted over 12 fish species and two different sea turtle species. Every day there was at least 5 to 6 different fish species. It was completely private. The rest of the island was also magical with incredible beaches and other snorkeling locations but our biggest struggle was deciding whether to just stay at the house and lagoon or go out exploring. Having the car to rent right there was a big plus. Both Scott and the caretaker was highly responsive and when we did have a couple issues they were resolved quickly. The house itself is comfortable and clean with a nice tropical vibe. We HIGHLY recommend this property. It is everything it promises and more.

Cody's place was amazing. We all had fun swimming right off the back of the house. The area for drinks/coffee and swimming was simply amazing. Sunset was terrific. Cody was so responsive and the house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic week long stay!!! Rented a car (M&W Johnson's Car Rental)and explored the island. Great place to be to go explore everything. Also best place to be was where we were. The restaurants and beaches closest to us were our favorite places. {i.e…. Pascals(say hi to Sammy), Tippy’s, Buccaneers Club, 1648(say hi to Kelly), The Deck, please visit Fish Fry Fridays} That being said….. the house was amazing. Pool with a waterfall was so refreshing and nice to relax in. The garden areas are so lovely. Spent a lot of time looking out the windows and the surrounding nature. Inside was clean and inviting from walking in to leaving on the last day. Cool and comfortable everywhere in the house and a great kitchen set up. We slept so comfortably every night.

If it were possible to rate Shannon higher I would. Shannon’s place was neat and had all the amenities including solar and high speed internet. Shannon was great at communication and was extremely responsive. When we checked in she had mangoes and papaya and water waiting for us and she brought over brownies on the second morning and a lovely blueberry cake our third day. Everyday she offered great advice and her guidebook was very informative. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to find everything we needed. She also had tons of things in the bathroom. Including razors and shampoo and bug spray which you will need on the islands. I can’t think of anything we needed that Shannon did not provide. She’s a great host.

we stayed in the sunset apartment. the windows face the forest. it was very comfortable. we describe it as beach rustic. Doon, Taja's mom, who runs the Airbnb, was very helpful and available for questions and recommendations.

Such a great location! It was cozy, airy, well equipped and exactly what I needed! Highly recommend. Thank you for the awesome communication and soothing stay!

Our stay at the Tuna Can was nothing short of absolutely amazing! We took a girls weekend trip here, looking for some peace and relaxation and it was exactly that! Suzanne was so helpful with every question I had and so extremely thoughtful! She helped us secure our golf cart rental, taxi/ferry service from the airport and even met us at the dock to bring us to the house! Suzanne has the cutest animal friends ☺️ and her home is truly a retreat in the middle of the most beautiful island I’ve ever experienced! We will be back soon!

Sharon was a great host! She arranged our taxi and ferry and met us at the dock. She showed us around the island and was always responsive if we needed anything. My daughter and I loved the island and had the best mother/daughter trip! I will definitely be back and book with Sharon. Don't miss out on this lovely destination!

My husband and I stayed at the Bird Cage for a quick wedding anniversary trip, and it was a wonderful experience. The Bird Cage was immaculate, with a modern and tastefully decorated interior. Although we spent most of our time indoors, the location was convenient, being just a short drive from Governor's Harbour, ATMs, shops, and more. Check-in was very smooth, and Solivia graciously allowed us to arrive early. She personalized our stay with a beautiful welcome message, wine, candles, and drinks in the fridge. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals at home. We felt so comfortable and relaxed that we didn’t want to leave. We would definitely recommend this place to couples looking for a relaxing and private getaway. You won't regret it! Thank you, Solivia; we will be back for sure!

This unit was fantastic! Beautifully decorated … you could not help but feel joyful walking into the space. The kitchen was well-stocked and every time I’d think, “I wonder if they have x” it was there. It was also great to be walkable to some restaurants. Highly reco thus wonderful place!

My boyfriend and I have stayed here before and liked sitting on the front porch and checking out the street scene. Walking to the beach is a luxury. Comfortable and nicely appointed. Suggestion for improvement would to put up a couple of towel bars in the bathroom and a hook on the back of the door. I think I suggested the same thing last year. Otherwise, place is great.

The service provided by Yasmin was absolutely excellent. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was confortable and that we had everything we needed. The apartment was brand new and very clean. If you are staying in Governors Harbour, I would highly endorse Yasmin and her apartments.

Great location, 2 minute walk from the beach. She was very friendly, responsive and accommodating.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Fredricka’s place! The apartment was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and I loved the comfy bedding. Fredricka was also incredibly responsive and helpful, providing me with great local recommendations and always being available to answer my questions. I can't wait to stay here again!

We stayed here while attending a wedding at Coco di Mama and loved it. It was the perfect week long getaway! Private and beautiful. We felt right at home and loved the easy walk to the shops. When comparing to where our friends and wedding guests stayed there is no question we made the best choice. We highly recommend this place, loved it, and hope to stay again soon.
