Farmstay holiday rentals in Norfolk

Wonderful lodge, beautiful surroundings, outdoor space was excellent. Hosts were proactive in providing any information we might need. The lodge was clean and tidy with a very well equipped kitchen with everything you would need to dine either inside the lodge or in the excellent outside space. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. Secure garden for our dogs was great, they were safe and there was no way of them escaping the garden. Would definitely stay again.

We always stay here when visiting north Norfolk. Love little cottage with everything you need.

My fourth visit here. I have relatives in the area and it’s a great place to stay when I visit them. It’s becoming home from home to me.

Chris and Melissa were perfect hosts. With a very friendly welcome it was nice to meet them as they were away on our last visit. Georgie their sweet dog was very happy to see us and our dog too. The barn is a real sanctuary and beautifully furnished with the best kitchen. Garden is shared with a private corner too. Our dog could wander where he liked as did Georgie. Thanks will return again.

Helpful, friendly, flexible owners, close to the beach and walk routes. The rooms were decorated and maintained to a high standard, a wonderful long weekend spent there with my family!

We really enjoyed our stay in The Woodpecker at Happy valley. The very clean cosy spacious cabin was set in a picturesque peaceful location. The Hot tub is fantastic, and we really enjoyed relaxing in nature. We went to Sandringham park run, which is only a 10 minute drive away and an excellent location. Also plenty of Serene beaches not too far away by car. Katy was great and provided useful information quickly with our last minute booking. Highly recommend if you are after a relaxing break!

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

A great secluded apartment, with all we needed for a weekend break with our 18 month old. Very clean, very spacious and very peaceful. A good base for exploring the local area. Thank you :)

Such a beautiful location with absolutely stunning views. The hosts were so welcoming and the annex was spacious with lovely artwork painted by Laurence, one of the hosts. We would recommend this for any solo or couple travellers who want a stay near the coast. (And plenty of space for dogs)

Had a lovely night here with my wife for our anniversary. The hit was absolutely perfect for what we wanted,it was so peaceful with lovely countryside views to look at as we sat by the fire pit. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. A very peaceful location with lovely views over open countryside. Plenty to do and see close by. We had a lovely stay and can't wait to visit again.

This is a nice barn conversion with a lovely garden, which our dog enjoyed very much. The house is easily accessible by car yet peaceful and secluded once inside of the gate. As a keen home cook I loved the large, well-equipped island kitchen, too. Chris gave us clear instructions about the house, and his detailed local guide was very helpful. We loved meeting his super-friendly doggie, too!

We had a lovely stay and it was exactly what we wanted, in a fab location and very peaceful and private. The place was perfect for my husband and baby. It was very clean and had all the essentials. We only wished we could have stayed for longer!

The place was really clean upon arrival and the hot tub was lovely. She was really quick with responses to any questions asked. The area was really peaceful and the garden was private considering there was another place next door. Would 100% book with Eleanor again either at the same place or one of her others, no bad words to say about my stay there.

Our third stay at the cottage. So homely and comfortable. Also very elegant and spotlessly clean. Angie leaves a welcome basket with essentials and treats, and she has really tried to think of everything you might need. Communication is excellent. It is the most beautiful area. So peaceful. Not too far to travel to the sea and surrounding villages and towns. We love this area of Norfolk, people are generally very hospitable and welcoming to tourists. I even found a car park in Cley (a very pretty busy little village with lovely walks around the marshes) which was free with a recommended donation.

Great accommodation, quirky and unique, lovely private area for the children to play, would recommend.

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

The Gig House was fantastic. Beautifully presented and exactly as described. Situated within beautifully maintained grounds, and just a few seconds stroll to the spa, it was absolutely perfect for our girly getaway! Tan and Hannah’s communication was excellent and they were very helpful. Plus the spa was great, friendly staff, great treatments and lovely outdoor jacuzzi pool with sun loungers to relax and lap up the sunshine. Who could ask for more!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

We have returned from an idyllic stay at this breathtaking barn. Every nook and cranny is decorated with beautiful antiques, artwork and musical instruments and the setting is wonderfully private with the bonus of chickens and sheep on the doorstep. The property is very charming, with the advantage of a sauna to relax in. We used this both nights during our stay and played relaxing music through the bluetooth speaker which made it feel like a spa retreat! The quayside is just across the road and a small convenience store selling essentials literally a few steps away. We walked to two of the local pubs (5 min walk away) and had some nice food outside as we were blessed with the weather. We spent a day in Southwold and visited Beccles during our stay, both a short 20 min drive away. Andy and Katherine are both so friendly and accommodating and we’d love to stay again soon. Beautiful home in a perfect location. It had everything we needed (and more for our young family!) Loved the complimentary hamper and toiletries - was a lovely touch. We'll definitely be back - thank you!

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. A couple of the bedrooms are quite small so not a lot of room for 2 suitcases. Probably suited to 1 person rather than 2! Downstairs was spacious and comfortable. Could do with a couple more larger frying pans. Cooking for 6 with one small pan not ideal! Not really any towel hanging space in the main bathroom. We had 4 sharing this room with one little hanging space which we hung the hand towel on. Meant hanging our towels in the bedrooms over wardrobe doors…common problem in most Airbnb’s to date is the lack of hanging space for towels! But overall we enjoyed our stay and the lemon cake on arrival was delicious and most appreciated. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Had a great few days’ stay in Annetta’s house – loved the character of the place and surrounding gardens. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Annetta is extremely friendly and helpful and her contact beforehand was very good. Nice touches include the hot tub and breakfast bits in the fridge. This is an ideal location to relax and explore the coast and inland. I would definitely recommend and intend to return to explore more of the area. Many thanks!

Buttercups is a perfect gem! Stylish, peaceful, uncluttered, and spacious with beautiful light flooding every room. The roomy dressing room is perfect for yoga a well kept garden is an added extra to enjoy. It feels like a well loved home with charming artefacts and art work all chosen with care to create a harmonious restful space. The cottage is perfectly placed in a quiet lane giving immediate access to walks to Blakeney and Cley on Sea. Warm, comfortable and quiet: we loved it and hope to return.
