Very peaceful, private and quiet. we loved the swing in the balcony and spa bath with a view.

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was perfectly secluded for privacy but easily accessible and close to town for easy access.

The photos do not do the view justice, was even better than I expected. Place was tidy and setup perfectly to make you feel right at home as you walked in. Total privacy and no road noise.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was perfect for a relaxing break. Everything was clean, cozy, and just as described. The hosts provided clear instructions and plenty of helpful information, which made everything super easy. Highly recommend, would definitely come back!

It was a great retreat, with the outdoor hot tub, sauna and fireplace. I loved the beautiful bathroom, it is my dream come true to bathe with the stars! My daughter loved the close contact with Charlie and Maple, the highland cows. I really enjoyed the glow in the dark stones as it adds a nice touch. Especially, when I woke up in the middle of the night to pee. I would love to come back again.

We stayed in Possums Retreat (unfortunately just for one night) and had a fantastic time. We love this place and will definately be returning. From the awesome spa, lovely bathroom, and tasteful decor, to the thoughtful breakfast hamper supplied, everything exceeded our expectations. We didn't hear the rooster make a noise until well after 8, and we had been up for a while by then! Great directions from the hosts, who are super thoughtful, even supplying new runners beside the beds as the weather was so cold. We will definitely be back!

Such a stunning location. Our cabin was beautiful, tidy and spacious. We were provided with a guidebook that gave us plenty of recommendations on things to do within the area. Our stay was so serene - will definitely be back!

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. We were two couples with our pooches and the accomodation was perfect. The property is warm and welcoming, the views to die for, and all the ammenities you need for a beautiful stay. We love food and wine and the well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook beautiful meals. The living space was more than adequate for 4, and our pups were very secure. Thank you to James and Roz who are great hosts.

This was a great and relaxing stay. The property is off the beaten path and we were able to see kangaroos and paddle in the mangroves while also being a short drive from the beach and nearby towns. The only thing about the stay was that it wasn’t long enough to truly relax! Thanks again to Rob for the great stay

We had a lovely stay at Brendon and Belinda’s. The unit was a really good size, in a great location with the beach an easy walk away along with many cafes to choose from for your morning coffee or breakfast. Despite the weather we really enjoyed getting out and about with our furbaby who enjoyed the stay as much as we did.

Our stay at The Dairy Cottage was fantastic. Stunning property, quiet, and tranquil. Ros was very accommodating, she provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants, cafes, walks and activities. Super easy check in and the cottage was beautifully decorated and so inviting. We loved making use of the outdoor kitchen for breakfast, and the fire pit in the evening. We had a fantastic weekend staying at The Dairy Cottage - would absolutely recommend this location to anybody looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful place.

My family and I had a very relaxing stay at Magnolia Cottage. The cottage was warm and cosy especially with the gas fireplace. We loved the quietness of the area and the beautiful views across the valley. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The visiting horses were a lovely addition. Great location, just a 5 minute drive into Maleny town. We hope to all come back again soon.

Steve has nailed it. Comfortable, well appointed and really priced AirBnB cottage in the most beautiful setting - very private from Steve’s house also on property. We loved the rural outlook and cooked dinner on the Weber q as the sun went down on the back porch. A fire is also possible and was perfect for the cool early evening. Cabin itself is super clean, comfortable and well appointed. A perfect mini break from Brisbane with Cooroy being about 20 mins drive away for cafes, food and supplies if you don’t take your own in. Sipping on my cup of tea admiring the beautiful garden set on the rolling hills, the little cows dotting the fields and the birds chirping away. The calm before my 3 yr old wakes up, this was probably the highlight of my mornings. One morning we saw the sunrise from the living room of cottage 1. The cottage was a short drive to Mary Cairncross and Gardner falls and the shops too. We were able to make dinner both nights so we could enjoy the view from the cottage. It was also quite peaceful as we were the only ones occupying the set of 4 cottages. I personally think the only way to enjoy a winter holiday is definitely by the fireplace at night and we were able to do that every night for a few hours. Thank you for sharing your spot.

We booked the Postman’s Cottage along with the main house and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage is a luxurious, peaceful retreat — beautifully styled, incredibly comfortable, and every detail was ten stars. A truly relaxing escape in the heart of Montville. Can’t wait to return! Such a pleasure to stay it a cabin filled with historical beauty and thought! My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a wedding just down the road and it was exactly what we wanted. 10 days in and it was the perfect home base while we helped get the bride and groom sorted for their big day. We got to explore the region on our own time. I loved the separate exterior bathroom!!! On multiple hot Maleny nights I sat in the deep - footed bath, relaxing, listening to the sound of cicadas, trees and decompressed from the day. Cindy and Rick are super easygoing and gracious hosts (Cindy’s brownies should be their own food group). It is well suited to those who respect craftsmanship, thought, simplicity but still with comfort, and a love when the cows come to say hello in the morning (behind the fence). We cant wait to get back there when it’s not 40 degrees so we can see that fire going! Thank you for looking after us x
