5 Stars – Stylish, Well-Located, and Comfortable We had a fantastic stay at Rob’s apartment. It’s beautifully designed, very stylish, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the beach and Hofstraat. It was exactly what we were looking for as a base to explore the region for the weekend. The free parking was a huge plus— rare and valuable in the Netherlands. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed, including spices and a dishwasher. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. A couple of minor points to note: the apartment heats up during the day, and like many places in Europe, there’s no AC—fine for us, but heat-sensitive guests might want to consider this in summer. Also, the bathroom could use better lighting, though this didn’t impact our experience. All in all, a wonderful apartment. We’d gladly return. Thank you, Rob!

José & seine Frau waren äußerst zuvorkommende Gastgeber, die uns freundlich und aufgeschlossen empfangen haben. Wir konnten sogar etwas früher als geplant in die Unterkunft und fanden eine blitzsaubere und schöne Wohnung vor. Mit Liebe zum Detail wurde das ehemalige Ladengeschäft zu einer kleinen Wohnperle umgebaut. Die Küche enthielt alles was man so an Kochuntensilien benötigt und im Bad lässt es sich herrlich duschen 😊 Perfekte Wohnung für 2 Personen. Wir kommen gerne wieder ❤️

Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

Impeccable ! Nous avons apprécié la qualité des équipements et la propreté du logement. Très bien placé à quelques minutes de marche de la magnifique plage, des restaurants et du centre. En voiture plein d’activités à quelques kilomètres. Sans aucun doute nous aimerions revenir !

Super fijn, ruim appartement. Ondanks de hitte was het binnen prima vertoeven en lekker koel. We hadden van tevoren gevraagd of er een kinderstoeltje beschikbaar was, die werd meteen voor ons geregeld. En het bedje van de kleine was schattig opgemaakt. Heerlijk verblijf gehad!

Lovely little accommodation- very small, but perfect for a weekend stay. The location is further out of Amsterdam centre than I expected, but transport links are very good! Very quiet location and beautiful surroundings. We had an issue with getting into the accommodation as the keypad would not work, but Sandra quickly arrived and sorted out the issue.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt! Welkom ist ein netter und entspannter Gastgeber. Wir durften direkt vor dem Haus parken und die Fahrräder nutzen. Damit ist man in 7 Minuten am Strand und im Zentrum. Man hat einen eigenen Hauseingang und gelangt über eine steile Treppe in die großzügig geschnittene Wohnung. Zugegeben: die Ledercouch im Wohnzimmer sieht zwar gut aus, ist aber für gemütliche Fernsehabende nicht unbedingt geeignet ;) Dann doch lieber ins bequeme Bett im Schlafzimmer mit Balkon zur Nordseite. Die Rollos dunkeln nicht wirklich ab und es ist etwas hellhörig, das sollte man vielleicht wissen. Fazit: eine tolle Wohnung mit super Lage, was will man mehr :)

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich, genauso wie es beschrieben wurde. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos! Es war sehr schön 😊

BOOK THIS PLACE!!! I don’t know how we lucked out by getting this place last minute but I am so grateful. The local host, Ron was incredibly responsive and kind. The place was pristine and accurately matched the photos. It was a cute little place and I loved the earthy tones. It was in a convenient location to the tram and/or walking. Would definitely book there again. Thank you for having us.

Wir waren zu dritt bei Karin zu Gast in dieser sehr schönen ruhigen Wohnung. Karin hat uns von Anfang an hilfreich unterstützt und war für alle Fragen jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Da sie oben drüber wohnt, stand sie schnell zur Verfügung. Wir waren in 10 Minuten zu Fuß am Bahnhof Haarlem, um mit der Bahn in 15 Minuten in Amsterdam anzukommen. Am Abend genossen wir die Ruhe auch im kleinen Garten der Wohnung nach dem ganzen Trubel. Aber auch Haarlem selbst ist ein Besuch wert. Auch kommt man mit dem Bus oder mit dem Rad schnell ans Meer, wenn man das noch einplanen möchte. Da die Wohnung keine Küche hat kann man nicht selbst kochen, wir hatten aber alles zur Verfügung um in der Wohnung zu frühstücken. Karin hat uns sogar das Abwaschen übernommen - ein perfekter Ort für einen Kurzurlaub.

Die Wohnung war in einer fantastischen Lage – perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden und den Strandzu genießen. Sie war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und es war wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Cynthia lief reibungslos und schnell, sie war jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war super und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir haben uns bei Lenneke sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist niederländisch gemütlich, die Küche super ausgestattet und die Lage perfekt für Ausflüge. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Our stay at Luba’s apartment was really lovely. Communication was very easy & timely. The apartment is beautiful with some great original features; it was also very comfortable too. Opening the balcony doors overlooking the quiet street & sitting to have a drink was great. The shower works well & the bath is low enough to step comfortably into. The bed is also very comfortable. The whole apartment is tastefully done with all the amenities you need. The stairs, like the stairs in a lot of Dutch houses, are a little steep but you soon get used to them & didnt cause us a problem. The washing machine was a great benefit & has a short wash to ensure you can be on the move. The area about 10 minutes outside The Hague was good for us - a lovely deli & other shops are close as are a number of good restaurants. Lieden & Delft are very easy to get to & well worth it. A great stay with lovely hosts in a nice location - I highly recommend.

Το διαμέρισμα είναι σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία. Έχει υπέροχη θέα σε κανάλι κι αυτό είναι το πιο δυνατό του σημείο! Επίσης είναι πολύ κοντά στο τραμ κι η Αurore απαντά πάντοτε πρόθυμα στις απορίες σας. Αφήνω τελευταία την guest star του σπιτιού, τη Zola. Χωρίς εκείνη το σπίτι θα ήταν άλλο ένα συνηθισμένο airbnb.. Συνιστάται ανεπιφύλακτα!!

We stayed in Timo's apartment for a week. This week was one of the best for us, and the apartment only made it more beautiful. Incredibly spacious, clean, incredibly cozy apartment. So many beautiful elements of art throughout the apartment, selected with taste and love, without anything superfluous. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were happy to spend time in it. Sometimes we thought about why our city program was so dense and busy, because we really wanted to spend more time in a cozy home. Ideal objective value for money. Our communication with Timo was incredibly friendly, he is a very responsive, kind, attentive and caring host, it was a pleasure to communicate with him. All our issues were resolved as quickly, easily and with care as possible. Would we come back again? Of course. Thank you very much for everything🩷

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit den Fahrrädern konnte man die nahe gelegene Metrostation gut erreichen und wir haben eine gute Zeit in Amsterdam gehabt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer gut erreichbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für Amsterdam Aufenthalte sehr empfehlen.

The place is amazing. Quaint , bright and very well thought out. The surrounding gardens are impeccable, the decor is warm and inviting and you feel immediately at home. Are hosts were lovely. Ever present, warm and inviting while respecting privacy and always ready with a smile. Set just a 5 mins walk from the train station you truly can’t beat the location as access to the beach, Amsterdam or all points is literally at your disposal. Uber was also easily accessible. I only hope on our next visit, it’s not so booked we can’t get in. It’s a must stay.
