The home was absolutely beautiful. As a host, David stayed in contact through the entire process, and including through out our stay. We highly recommend David and his property. We will be visiting again and staying at David’s place.

We had the best time here!! Stayed for my bachelorette with a big group and had plenty of room for activities and enough space to feel not cramped. If you’re wanting to be close to the French quarter but not too close to the chaos, this is a perfect location! Ubers everywhere were about 10-15 minutes. The jacuzzi and pool were awesome. Even though the pool was shared we had it to ourselves basically the whole time. Highly recommend this place for a NOLA weekend visit!!

Alleshias place was beautiful and very clean. Close to everything and very walkable. Pool was an added bonus. My children loved it

The place was perfect for our needs, hosting out-of-town guests for the weekend. We put two families in the main house together. A few of the bedrooms connect or are pass-throughs, so this worked well for people who are familiar with each other. Even still, almost everyone had their own well-appointed bathroom and very comfortable beds. There are another two stand alone rooms with ensuite bathrooms by the pool as well that have lots of privacy. It's a fun and funky sprawling house, and we were able to pay an event fee to have a few additional guests over for a pool party, which was really perfect and a unique opportunity, as this is not possible at many properties. Daniel and Lauren were very accommodating, helpful and communicative.

Sara & Mark are New Orleans to the core. They keep a lovingly decorated and beautiful historic house, they love their city and they want you to enjoy yourself. So kind, so accommodating, so thoughtful. They're a class act all the way. The house is but a few steps away from one of the most beautiful parks in the country, and well-situated for exploring the most fascinating city in the country. Do yourself a favor and bring (or rent) a bicycle, and pedal all over the area.

This Airbnb is beautiful! We rented this space for a girls weekend and it was truly stunning. The house is beautifully done, and the bathrooms are truly something else with the giant soaking tub. The only catch was that we went to the wrong door initially and then realized the true front door was the one a little further back and to the side. The house is gorgeous, the pool is lovely, and the hosts were really responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed the location, it was close to Magazine Street and the French Quarter but still in a quiet part of town. I would highly recommend this house to stay in!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here while on a southern roadtrip. I overheard her telling her grandma to book a family trip to New Orleans while having Lisa as a host. The property is gorgeously maintained with greenery everywhere. We made friends with the frogs in the backyard which added to the magic! Lisa is genuinely one of the best hosts I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing with Airbnb. She provided us with restaurants, experiences, tours, and so many more opportunities to explore during our stay. Our stuff was safe despite being out in the open truck. She gave us “rich people towels” - my girlfriend. The shampoo/conditioner provided was perfect for her hair. Lisa did not cut any corners when designing this home — it was cool, comfortable, safe, clean, and fun. We felt like we were sleeping on clouds. The AC was perfect in lieu of the heat. Genuinely if we could give this place 10 stars, we would. Thank you, Lisa, for such a memorable experience.

This little place tucked away in Bywater was absolutely magical. I was in town for the Gonzofest New Orleans festival, a tribute to the life and work of Hunter S Thompson. This place fit right in with the vibe we were soaking up from New Orleans all weekend. It's almost like stepping into a mini gallery with all of the cool New Orleans art pieces and posters that line the walls. Finding the Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams on the shelf was a pleasant surprise as well. James was great! From the moment we got there, he showed us the meaning of southern hospitality. The beds were comfy and the furniture was great. This place is great if you want to keep that NOLA energy going full steam, even while you rest. We had a great stay . 10 out of 10 would stay here again anytime I am in New Orleans. Thanks again for everything James. If we are ever coming back through town, you'll be seeing us again.

Not only was this Airbnb one of the most gorgeous and thoughtfully curated that I’ve ever stayed in, but Miranda truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home! Upon arrival, she met us at the property to greet us and had candles lit, lamps on and music was softly playing in the kitchen where chocolates awaited alongside a list of “local favorites.” The space was clean and so well decorated, it felt more like a retreat. Miranda also was sure to check in to make she we had everything we needed! Every detail felt intentional and beautiful. The location was also perfect and we were able to walk to some delicious restaurants and shops. I could sing my praises forever!

Highly recommended. The house is just as described, very pretty, lots of comfortable beds for my whole family, house was super clean and everything needed that made our stay very comfortable. We would love to come back! Thank you :)

We had the best time experiencing the natural and urban cultures in the bayou! Henry’s place is amazing, clean, comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and fun! Crabbing, fishing, hot tubbing, cooking and relaxing in…and venturing into NOLA was so easy with so much to explore …and a day beach trip to Bay St. Louis was a nice surprise with gorgeous and clean white sandy beaches for miles and a cute seaside town. What a gem of a spot! A perfect blend of relaxation and exploration! The perfect family adventure!

We had the best experience at this home! It’s a stunning location. Every window looks out at something beautiful since the house is overlooking water on both the front and back of the house. The host provides everything needed for fishing and a crab cage. We caught 3 crabs and 5 fish and spent very little time or effort trying. Plus there’s a bate shop very close by. The home is a pretty quick drive to the city of New Orleans and a couple other really nice towns. We would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a safe, peaceful, beautiful place to stay while visiting the area.

The Purple Purch is extremely comfy with everything you need. The lake views are priceless and go on forever. We slept so good! Shannon & Aamie could not have been better hosts. So kind, thoughtful and flexible. Very attentive & responsive when we had a question. If you are looking for peace & serenity on the water away from hustle of downtown N’Orleans then this is your place. Morning coffee outside on screened deck overlooking the lake was everyone’s favorite. The huge sectional allowed all 6 of us space to chill out for a movie night! Absolutely recommend staying at this soul calming place on Lake Catherine! Just what we needed…..😍👏🙌

I loved this space as it was easy to find, super easy to check into, Kaylan was very responsive as well as helpful. The home was clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable and soft. The front porch and back porch were so nice. The river being right across the street made an awesome view of the bridge. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful with people jogging and walking their dogs along the river. Everything was convenient and easy to get to. I will definitely stay here again.

Yaaaaallllllll. This place was BOMB💣.com This lady is full of surprises 🤧. First what an entrance! She had nice music playing as we entered the place with colorful lights bouncing off the walls. Like how do you properly welcomed us into your home without physically being there? The GOAT. Theeeeeen surprised us with wine🍷 (we was missing a corkscrew; and even that was a surprise because she had literally everything else lol). It’s like if you were to have left something at home you wouldn’t be worried because she had it!!! Also this was for my friends bachelorette trip from Memphis (her room was beautiful and well decorated just for her) but she did not leave me out 🤧 she took the time to review my profile to know my birthday was approaching because she left a little birthday surprise for me also. thank you AGAIN! Instructions CLEAR. This place GREAT! There were bugs and little creatures OUTSIDE. I know she keeps this place up because you did not see one bug or creature IN the house

The place looked exactly like the photos It was close enough to everything where it didn't cost us a fortune. The check in was seamless would definitely visit again.

This is a great little hidden gem! We loved the layout of the house and how it offers privacy for each bedroom. Furnished nicely and very cozy! Christina is a great host! Will likely rent from her again for our next visit! A+!

This property is gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. We rented both the main house and carriage house for out of town guests. The two houses have thier own coded key entry with an attractive, shared pool area between them. Everyone was thrilled to be there. So many wonderful details in this superb historical renovation. Lots of lovely gathering and eating spaces inside both houses, but also very close to many of our favorite Bywater eateries. Everyone was very helpful quick to respond when we had questions. Will definitely be back.

Our stay at Thomas’s place was great! The apartment was exactly as pictured. Its location was ideal for us to be able to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go-from the French Quarter to amazing restaurants. The apartment itself is big and bright. The balcony was great for our morning coffee everyday and for watching the afternoon rain that came through lol! Everything was just perfect for our stay!

We enjoyed the stay. Very beautiful surroundings, Loved the porch and decks out to the water. Will definitely stay there again in the near future on the next fishing trip. Lots of great places to fish close by.
