An excellent abode for privacy and a quiet moment with nature. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, the host and associated caretakers were also forthcoming and welcoming. The silver lining being the delicious meals served as well as the easy connectivity to any location. Place was clean, huge and cold. Upper room didn’t have bathroom so we didn’t use that room as walking down at midnight would be troublesome. Caretaker and host were great and very helpful. During our stays it was raining hence extremely cold . I recommend they should still have heater options. It is not at a walkable distance to market as stated and all reviews describe

Our stay at Muttikkal's Place (Manjus Family Destination) in Elk Hills, Ooty, was absolutely fantastic! Greenfinch Villa is beautifully surrounded by tea garden-covered hills, offering a breathtaking 360-degree view of lush green valleys. The bungalow was very well-organized and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms and halls were spacious, providing plenty of room for everyone. We visited as a family group of 8 and had a great stay. The weather was awesome—during our visit, the temperature dropped to around 14°C due to light drizzling, which made it feel like winter in the middle of summer. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare our own food and snacks comfortably. The kids especially had a lot of fun and truly enjoyed the stay. A big thanks to the caretaker, Sridhar, who was very helpful and made sure our visit was smooth and comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and the memories we made will be cherished throughout the year.

we stayed at Thomas place for a short duration but it was a very good experience. Thomas was very helpful at all times. The place is retro style and worth the experience. he provided all the necessary things, and the place is very clean. The view from the balcony is really good. Overall, the place is very nice.

Peaceful, calm and serene environment. Very helpful and friendly caretaker and family. Not a big menu, but the complimentary breakfast and everything we had from the menu was tasty and homely. 6-7 km to the center of Ooty, so ideal for people with own transport.

Very good and responsive people. Had a very pleasant stay. I just stayed for a short period and felt needed to stay for a few more days. Everything was wonderful, only that it was mentioned as 3 bed room but we were provided with only 2.

Host Karthik is polite. Arranged breakfast. Bought items for cooking. Apartment is new construction. Promptly replied to queries. Quiet place. He accommodated 2pm checkout. we cooked food .

In whole of ooty this stay was the highlight… the roads to get there are so adventurous.. if you love driving and the scenery was so nice

Our stay at Spicewoods at Meppadi was very good. The owner, staffs were warm & friendly. There were 4 cottages and we stayed cottage Unit#1. Its surrounded by lot of plants which is nice & peaceful. But I personally thought I would get some mountain view. Irrespective it was overall a positive experience for us. If there one feedback I may give is to have a bit of more menu options under the paid food category. Otherwise everything is great and I recommend tourists to choose Spicewoods for their Wayanad stay!

Peaceful, Clean, Simple, Clutter free, Homely Waking up to birds in the morning and going to bed after looking at the starry sky has been an experience that will stay with us for a really long time. Soochipara waterfall is really close and so are some of the entertainment spots. In house kitchen is outstanding, we really enjoyed food, hospitality and the fast service. Mr Ansar does his job perfectly and knows about the local spots which is really helpful in planning the day.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was a perfect escape from the daily grind. The lush plantation setting and quite surroundings made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Loved the interiors , it has been thoughtfully designed with every modern comfort offering amazing panoramic views. Alan was extremely responsive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. We are definitely looking forward to coming back again!

The cabin was exactly same as it is shown in pictures. Caretaking staff are very polite and responsive. It is located in the middle of coffee platation and surrounded by hills. You can enjoy hearing to different birds in early morning. Totally it's a calm and private place. It's a great place for those who would like to detox from busy city life. Host is also responsive and helpful. Negatives: I found only one Negative point that the estate is located just few meters interior from main road in a coffee plantation, so from main road to estate you have to go through a metal road which is approximately 250 to 300 meters patch.

Our stay at Magical Stories Wayanad was a peaceful retreat filled with scenic beauty and warm hospitality, making it an ideal spot for couples seeking tranquility and adventure. The charming A-frame cottage, set amidst lush greenery, made us feel right at home, while the surrounding landscapes offered plenty to explore. We wandered through vast rice paddy fields, soaked in the serene views of Kuruva Islands, and enjoyed a scenic drive through Chekadi Forest, eventually relaxing along the banks of the Kabini River. Each location was breathtaking in its own way, showcasing Wayanad’s natural splendor. A standout part of our experience was the delicious home-cooked Kerala meals prepared by a friendly local uncle who delighted in sharing his authentic cuisine with visitors, paired with refreshing local tea and coffee. A minor issue with an electrical appliance was quickly resolved by our attentive host, Kevin, whose prompt response added to the overall sense of care we felt during our stay

Very beautiful location, better then the pictures, spacious room and balcony. Best if you want peaceful setting to spend the day.
